Was fully expecting some pizza that sucked since it just snowed yesterday-- Found this place on the way back from a cabin getaway over the weekend one of the only places open nearby. First of all, not only were they open but the pizza is actually really good! Great undercarriage/ crispy bottom. Not only that, the service was so good. The owner served us our pizza even after dropping it off and was super friendly. Everyone was nice!! There are a plethora of options if you dont want pizza. This place is always good! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. Now it is small inside but that's okay it never feels small even when it's packed. We came in one night in November 2022 and I asked the specials , the very sweet waitress said "if you buy any large pizza you get an order or breadsticks for free". We did just that bought a large pizza and got an order or breadsticks for free. The breadsticks were very big and long and they were definitely fried and tasted delicious. Even with no seasoning on them the breadsticks were tasty. We ordered 2 large pizzas one pepperoni and one cheese and as usual they both were delicious just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. The food here is always top notch. Its the only place I have found who can cook thin pasta like linguini and not turn it to mush. The spaghetti with meatballs is on point. I have never ordered anything I didn't love. The employees are kind and the family who owns the restaurant is always so welcoming. I'm Italian and can tell you it's very hard for me to find a decent plate of pasta. This place has a good sauce and serves it with just the right amount of grated cheese. The sauce is not overly sweet with sugar and compliments the linguine perfectly. Every one seems to always order pizza, fries, and bread when I'm dining in. You know I do like ciros but I was so disappointed the past few orders I made we ordered pizza and it arrived cold and the special came with free breadsticks well the delivery driver forgot them when he arrived I mentioned this and he says no problem I'll be back with them - we went on about our business and low and behold he never came back - not only did we have cold pizza but never got our breadsticks- not happy so I think we will take to a different place for awhile maybe it's just the staff and things work themselves out later we will see. read more

A bit of Italy in VA! We were looking for lunch and stumbled across this little gem. Ciro and his staff took great care of our family and really provided a personal touch. We have 3 children and they treated them like their own. The food was incredibly delicious! We've traveled to Italy a few times and it was like taking a trip back. This is my favorite Italian place in the area. My wife and I regularly drive from Front Royal for the great food and great service.

Oh my wow, talk about my mind and taste buds being blown away!! Talk about authentic and friendly! As I'm chatting away with the wonderfully friendly girl up front about how her parents came to the US from Italy, the kitchen reached out to ask her some things in Italian, such a little thing, but so cool! More friendliness ensues, as the conversation soon has the delivery driver and chef/cook all involved, talking about the beautiful scenery in the area and travel. The restaurant itself is super clean, restrooms included. The decor is basic, but has a very relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Bring on the food! My calzone was magic! The dough was so good, crispy on the outside, soft with just the right amount of chewiness in the middle, wrapped around great fillings that packed a flavorful punch, especially with the ample account of mozzarella and ricotta cheeses! This is all so good and then you add in the sauce. Yes, this magic sauce was so fresh and sweet, that when the calzone was done and there was sauce left in my cup, I slurped it up like you do with the last bits of a delicious bowl of soup! Now the bad part........my house is 2,600 miles away. It's gonna be expensive to keep coming back, could you guys possibly open up one in Oregon please? Super expensive, the owner is a angry little pac man. Treats his employees like crap. Yells at them, his rules are so communistic. The employees cant even use the cups to get a drink. I am really sad to report that quality of their food has declined sharply. The Philly Cheesesteak pizza had always been delicious and just as good the second night as the first. We have tried it three times over the last month hoping that we had just had bad luck. No. Not bad luck. The steak is now either very low grade or fatty hamburger and left a bad taste akin to old grease. We have not been happy with anything else that we have tried recently either. If you have two normal size portion eaters you can easily split an entree as you get that much food. I prefer to take what's leftover home for another lunch and or late night snack. The medium pizza here would be a large size at most restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful. Italian music in the background with delicious food. We were a party of 14 hungry folks who just got done playing paintball around the corner at Skyline Paintball. The pizza had a great NY style crust, was tasty, and out fast. I've lived in the Northern Shenandoah Valley for 10 years, and somehow never noticed Ciro's Pizza in Strasburg, although I have driven by it many times. I suppose, because it's tucked away near a corner in a small shopping center, nearly obscured by a Food Lion grocery store. My wife and I are always on the lookout for new places to dine in our area. My wife recently discovered Ciro's while surfing the net. We decided to give it a go after reading a few positive reviews. For our first visit, we decided to order their namesake, a Neapolitan style cheese pizza. We added a garden salad to round things out, and had iced tea for our beverage. First, the pizza/crust was a little above average. The crust was neither overcooked nor undercooked, it was crisp but not tough, and was more dry than greasy. If I had to really critique the pizza, I would say that the sauce was a bit too bland for our tastes and more cheese on top would have been better. Nevertheless, in comparison to other local places, it was somewhat better than average. The salads were fresh and contained Iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, chopped tomatoes, carrots, onion, and grated cheese. I had the Italian dressing and my wife had Ranch. She noted that the ranch was exceptionally thick, a positive when compared to some of the watery dressings some places serve. The tea was good as well. It was a positive dining experience, and we certainly will visit again to try some of their other selections. read more

Ordered a pizza for take out. Upon opening the box at home the pizza was a wreck. Topping were thrown all over the pizza. Some pieces had no toppings, some were just a pile of lunch meat ham. Chewy dough. Won't be back. How can you screw up a pizza? read more

I'm just reviewing the pizza here as I haven't eaten any of their other menu items. The pizza is only decent. Both our cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza were extremely greasy. We had to blot up some of the grease with a paper towel before eating. They both could have used more cheese and they're pretty stingy with the pepperoni. We had to order extra pepperoni to get what you'd expect on a regular pepperoni. The sauce isn't bad and the crust is ok too. This would be good cheap pizza but unfortunately it's not cheap. $30 for a large pepperoni and a medium cheese. Still searching for good pizza in Strasburg. read more
