Oh my wow, talk about my mind and taste buds being blown away!! Talk about authentic and friendly! As I'm chatting away with the wonderfully friendly girl up front about how her parents came to the US from Italy, the kitchen reached out to ask her some things in Italian, such a little thing, but so cool! More friendliness ensues, as the conversation soon has the delivery driver and chef/cook all involved, talking about the beautiful scenery in the area and travel. The restaurant itself is super clean, restrooms included. The decor is basic, but has a very relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Bring on the food! My calzone was magic! The dough was so good, crispy on the outside, soft with just the right amount of chewiness in the middle, wrapped around great fillings that packed a flavorful punch, especially with the ample account of mozzarella and ricotta cheeses! This is all so good and then you add in the sauce. Yes, this magic sauce was so fresh and sweet, that when the calzone was done and there was sauce left in my cup, I slurped it up like you do with the last bits of a delicious bowl of soup! Now the bad part........my house is 2,600 miles away. It's gonna be expensive to keep coming back, could you guys possibly open up one in Oregon please? But seriously, totally awesome place, you won't be disappointed! read more

Ciro's Pizza - Supreme Calzone - Pizza Near Me - Strasburg, Virginia

Was fully expecting some pizza that sucked since it just snowed yesterday-- Found this place on the way back from a cabin getaway over the weekend one of the only places open nearby. First of all, not only were they open but the pizza is actually really good! Great undercarriage/ crispy bottom. Not only that, the service was so good. The owner served us our pizza even after dropping it off and was super friendly. Everyone was nice!! There are a plethora of options if you dont want pizza. I think the owner is Italian too so thats always a plus when getting Italian food. Good food, good service! read more

We love Ciros! This was the first time we ordered lasagna for take out! The size portion was large. We shared one between the two of us and got 2 meals! It was very tasty. I would order again. read more

Everything always goes well at Ciro's Pizza for us. I wish more restaurants were operated and staffed by such very nice people and consistently serves great portions, phenomenal flavor, and the absolute BEST Italian food. Service is superb, as well. Very warm atmosphere where you feel like you are part of the family and appreciated. read more

This place is always good! I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. Now it is small inside but that's okay it never feels small even when it's packed. We came in one night in November 2022 and I asked the specials , the very sweet waitress said "if you buy any large pizza you get an order or breadsticks for free". We did just that bought a large pizza and got an order or breadsticks for free. The breadsticks were very big and long and they were definitely fried and tasted delicious. Even with no seasoning on them the breadsticks were tasty. We ordered 2 large pizzas one pepperoni and one cheese and as usual they both were delicious just the right amount of sauce to cheese ratio. The crust was golden brown and had a soft texture!! Perfect dinner from a perfect restaurant. read more

The food here is always top notch. Its the only place I have found who can cook thin pasta like linguini and not turn it to mush. The spaghetti with meatballs is on point. I have never ordered anything I didn't love. The employees are kind and the family who owns the restaurant is always so welcoming. I literally drive a town over, passing by at least 4 closer italian restaurants to get to Ciro's. They are just that good. Oh, and their homemade turamisu is an absolute delight. read more

The best steak and cheese sub in Virginia! Have been getting these subs since I was 16. Even when I moved out of state and got the chance to come back, it's been as good as it was when I grew up. The owners are always on site and greet the customers with a smile and appreciation for being there! read more

Food was excellent. We had the supremes Stromboli and Caesar salad. Homemade dressing was wonderful. Waitress was so friendly and the atmosphere was classic Italian. read more

Great food and great server's. I've been enjoying their quality food's for several years now! Family owned business clean restaurant, great pizza, steak and cheese subs are my absolute favorite and the spaghetti is a homemade family recipe amazing spaghetti sauce. read more

I'm Italian and can tell you it's very hard for me to find a decent plate of pasta. This place has a good sauce and serves it with just the right amount of grated cheese. The sauce is not overly sweet with sugar and compliments the linguine perfectly. Every one seems to always order pizza, fries, and bread when I'm dining in. Try the pasta dishes with a good wine, these Italians know what there doing. Good stuff. read more

A bit of Italy in VA! We were looking for lunch and stumbled across this little gem. Ciro and his staff took great care of our family and really provided a personal touch. We have 3 children and they treated them like their own. The food was incredibly delicious! We've traveled to Italy a few times and it was like taking a trip back. Fresh made pasta, meatballs and the Stromboli was incredible. The menu is extensive and we went with whatever Ciro recommended. HIGHLY recommend making a point to stop and eat here!! read more

You know I do like ciros but I was so disappointed the past few orders I made we ordered pizza and it arrived cold and the special came with free breadsticks well the delivery driver forgot them when he arrived I mentioned this and he says no problem I'll be back with them - we went on about our business and low and behold he never came back - not only did we have cold pizza but never got our breadsticks- not happy so I think we will take to a different place for awhile maybe it's just the staff and things work themselves out later we will see. read more

This is my favorite Italian place in the area. My wife and I regularly drive from Front Royal for the great food and great service.

This place is disgusting, overpriced, and bland! I ordered the chicken fingers and fries, and they were burnt dinosaur nuggets probably bought from the Food Lion next door. My aunt said it used to be the best place to get a sub!! Do not waste your time and money read more

As always, great service and great food. The small hole in the wall places are usually the best and this place never disappoints

Good food and great service. Delivery is always quick and the food is always hot. Customer service is always great.

I am really sad to report that quality of their food has declined sharply. The Philly Cheesesteak pizza had always been delicious and just as good the second night as the first. We have tried it three times over the last month hoping that we had just had bad luck. No. Not bad luck. The steak is now either very low grade or fatty hamburger and left a bad taste akin to old grease. We have not been happy with anything else that we have tried recently either. I am hoping that they read this and correct the quality to the level it once was. read more

I love the family setting, Ciro is amazing. The food is so good, I recommend if you want a good meal with a loving surrounding.

Great local pizza shop. Have been going here for over 20 years, never been disappointed. Lucky to have them in the Strasburg area.

They have the best shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was thick and creamy and very flavorful, and the shrimps were very big and flavorful. Probably the best fettuccine I've ever had! read more

worse restaurant ever don't visit it because they don't have very good food and it's just a waste of money so i would recommend you go somewhere else that's has more variety then this sorry excuse of a restaurant like this!!! and because of it their fettuccine alfredo tasted horrible and i hate this restaurant!!! read more

Great pizza and subs. We loved the food. Waitresses were friendly. Defiantly coming back again.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and wanted cheap and good. It's that and more. Definitely a locals place but friendly. Located in a food Lion strip mall making it a hidden gem. The calzone was awesome... He got the pasta special and well... It's all gone so I guess it was good. Price point was very reasonable. Go on give it a try! read more

Good meatball sub, pleasant staff, and good food. They have pastas, subs, French fries, onion rings, seafood pastas, and Strombolies and Calzones. Not my favorite Italian restaurant (Alforno's is), but it's still very good. read more

If you have two normal size portion eaters you can easily split an entree as you get that much food. I prefer to take what's leftover home for another lunch and or late night snack. The medium pizza here would be a large size at most restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful. Italian music in the background with delicious food. I don't see how you could go wrong. read more

I was in the area and very hungry after a long day on the road. Ordered the Meat Sub and it is the best sandwich, I have ever enjoyed. Fresh ingredients and the bread toasted to perfection. Great and fast service. I'm just sorry I live too far away to frequent the place every day. read more

Stopped here on our way home to NY. We were skeptical, but willing to try it. The food was great. We got a personal pizza, meatball calzone, and mozzarella sticks. The food was delicious. Also had a great conversation with Giuseppe, the pizza guy and I believe the owner. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Ciro's was a warm and welcoming place. The staff and owner were fun and friendly and took great care of us. We were a party of 14 hungry folks who just got done playing paintball around the corner at Skyline Paintball. The pizza had a great NY style crust, was tasty, and out fast. The wings, subs, and salads were great as well. Great atmosphere for a family or group of friends. We will be back for sure. read more

Amazing pizza - delicious crust with tasty toppings and fantastic service. All at a great price! I stopped by from out of town, and I'm so glad that I found this hidden gem. Ciro is incredibly kind and attentive to his customers. I truly recommend this restaurant to anyone! read more

I havnt eaten there in a long time and by what I remembered it was always good. Well this go around not so much, two small meals and side salads 30 dollars later and the stromboli looked like a paper plate with a small handful of cheese a 3 pepperoni folded over. Worst stromboli I've ever had, guess thats one way to save, skimp on the food toppings and dough read more

I've lived in the Northern Shenandoah Valley for 10 years, and somehow never noticed Ciro's Pizza in Strasburg, although I have driven by it many times. I suppose, because it's tucked away near a corner in a small shopping center, nearly obscured by a Food Lion grocery store. My wife and I are always on the lookout for new places to dine in our area. My wife recently discovered Ciro's while surfing the net. We decided to give it a go after reading a few positive reviews. For our first visit, we decided to order their namesake, a Neapolitan style cheese pizza. We added a garden salad to round things out, and had iced tea for our beverage. First, the pizza/crust was a little above average. The crust was neither overcooked nor undercooked, it was crisp but not tough, and was more dry than greasy. If I had to really critique the pizza, I would say that the sauce was a bit too bland for our tastes and more cheese on top would have been better. Nevertheless, in comparison to other local places, it was somewhat better than average. The salads were fresh and contained Iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, chopped tomatoes, carrots, onion, and grated cheese. I had the Italian dressing and my wife had Ranch. She noted that the ranch was exceptionally thick, a positive when compared to some of the watery dressings some places serve. The tea was good as well. It was a positive dining experience, and we certainly will visit again to try some of their other selections. read more

We have tried all the pizza places in Strasburg and the surrounding areas. Ciro's has the best pizza hands down.

Ordered a pizza for take out. Upon opening the box at home the pizza was a wreck. Topping were thrown all over the pizza. Some pieces had no toppings, some were just a pile of lunch meat ham. Chewy dough. Won't be back. How can you screw up a pizza? read more

I'm just reviewing the pizza here as I haven't eaten any of their other menu items. The pizza is only decent. Both our cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza were extremely greasy. We had to blot up some of the grease with a paper towel before eating. They both could have used more cheese and they're pretty stingy with the pepperoni. We had to order extra pepperoni to get what you'd expect on a regular pepperoni. The sauce isn't bad and the crust is ok too. This would be good cheap pizza but unfortunately it's not cheap. $30 for a large pepperoni and a medium cheese. Still searching for good pizza in Strasburg. read more

Been passing by for a couple of years; tried the Supreme pizza--- sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onion & g. Peppers. Quite a nice crust, bland sauce, could have used more cheese and toppings. The sausage was in thin slices, really too thin. Will be back. read more

This has got to be one of the best NY style pizzas this side of NY City. Flavor abounds with the fresh mozzarella, sauce, and what ever toppings you prefer. I have stopped by for a slice at lunch time, plain cheese is awesome. Tonight I ordered a small pie with sausage and onion. It was delivered to my hotel fresh, hot, and delicious in under 30 minutes read more

We were super hungry at 11pm after a long day exploring the local area and we were super excited to find a place open until midnight. First they have no menu available on the web but we called anyway and asked if they have pasta and they said yes. We then asked if they delivered which they also replied yes. When we proceeded to place our order we were told it was too late to make what we wanted. Boooo. If you are open for another full hour why can't you make all items on your menu. Pasta probably takes less time than pizza anyway. We are very disappointed and you have lost 2 customers. read more
