Pro: online ordering, coupons, friendly staff. Con: credit card sub charge, need more topping on pizza, small parking lot. My sister was at work and saw a fliers & coupons sitting on a table for Roma and after looking at the decent review on yelp we decided to give this restaurant a try. We order online and decided to go with chicken tender, large meat lover pizza, fettuccini Alfredo, bread stick, French fries, and a cannoli. The restaurant is a little small and has a limited number of parking space but it no issue if you just coming for carry out order. The staff inside were friendly. For the appetizer I started with the fries and the chicken tender. The fries were your run of the mill normal buy some frozen fries and then microwave it kind of taste so nothing fancy there while the chicken tender has some decent seasoning and flavors. Also, the portion size of the fries and chicken tender was good. For the main entree of the pizza it was good but I would like to see more topping since there was very little between slices and the crust was very meh. The fettuccini was bland to me and the bread stick I had better at other pizza restaurants. For dessert that cannoli was very good. The rich taste of the filling combine with the light strawberry made for an exquisite end to the meal. All in all, the experience was not bad and I would come back here again in the future compare to pizza twist. read more

I was excited to try the food here since it was highly rated in this town, but I got to say the pizza was not great, I don't know if it's the ingredients made or I just caught them on a bad day but my large pepperoni pizza was not all that great and I've been eating pizza my whole life. It just flat out did not taste good. I also ordered chicken tenders, which were cooked very well however lacked any taste to it at all. It was tender and juicy and crispy and went well with the sauce that came in the bag however, it had zero seasoning. It literally tasted like nothing. We have been long time customers of Roma's outside of Stephens City as well as Roma's on the Winchester mall. A few weeks ago we tried the to-go to take home. If it is affiliated with the other two, they clearly aren't speaking to each other. The food was five steps below a burger king rating. The cheese steak was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. None were there. Nor was their cheese. The pizza trifecta had a single piece of sausage on the entire pizza. From the outside, this place doesn't look like much. Make sure not to judge this book by its cover. If you do, you'll only be hurting yourself. I have some seriously awful reactions to overly processed foods, so sometimes I'm leery about eating out. Thankfully, I now know that Roma on the Go isn't going to hurt my insides. The ingredients are incredibly fresh! The cheese isn't that generic crap that some try to pass off as authentic. The salad greens are crisp and vibrant in color. Again, have you seen some of the "fresh salads" that other places try to pass off? Roma has them beat, hands down, in all categories. The food, the timing of the orders, and the absolute most courteous staff! My family enjoys this place so much, it's our go-to for pizza nights. read more

Great experience. Stopped in Winchester on a trip, ordered from the hotel and food exceeded my expectation. Tried the chicken steak and was great. I tried this restaurant for the first time and was excited to get a gyro and onion rings to go. The gyro was very good except extremely salty and was only maybe 5 in Long for $8. The onion rings were burnt to a crisp I could hardly eat them. Unfortunately I was too far away to go back. I will not be going there again! read more

Food usually good. Held back from reviewing after last delivery, but tonite the same. Took over an hour to get food. That's ok. 3 gluten free pizzas and some fries. $65. Tipped $15. We usually go to Roma on the walking mall downtown but wanted pizza to take home this time. They actually do have a small dining room. Very clean. The staff was very nice and polite. Pizza did not disappoint. Just as good as Roma on the mall. I would definitely do pick up again. For such a small place the menu is pretty extensive. Just in town on the way up North. Perfect Caesar salad with chicken and fantastic mushroom ravioli. Salad was cool and the ravioli was hot when delivered. This is our go-to place. They've never gotten an order wrong or forgotten something back at the shop. Delivery time is always quoted at 45 min, we regularly receive our food in 20-30 min. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Online ordering makes life really easy. We get delivery from here way too much. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza except the buffalo chicken pizza, with extra cheese and hot sauce instead of the traditional buffalo. Omgggg it was SO good. The Italian sub is primo, no water ham or cheap shit. Basically everything here is good, in my opinion. We've eaten here once a week on average for the last 3 years and never once have gotten ill or found bugs in our food. ::shrug:: everybody and every business has bad days, ya know? We stopped at this place after our hot air balloon ride before heading home to Fairfax. I am glad we did. We got two pizzas, and both pizzas were really good. The pizza ingredients were fresh, you can tell by the taste. The service was really good too, despite it not being a full service restaurant. This is easily one of the best pizzas I have had, the other being CS pizza in Rockville. I haven't tried Pupatella in Arlington, but I will try that one of these days. My only regret is this is so far from home that I probably won't be coming here again any time soon. And well, I don't know - Just go here and find out for yourself. We order delivery from Roma on the Go way too much :P We love their calzones, mozz sticks, and of course pizza. My favorite pizza is bacon and pineapple (they use fresh, not canned, pineapple!!) My expectations were not high when coming here. The building is slightly dinky, and comes across as a fast food place. I had the gyro sandwich and it was delicious. My husband had the calzone and he was impressed. I came back the next day because I was so impressed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Menu selection is great. I'm kinda disappointed, this is supposed to be a delivery version of the original romas but nothing about this pizza is the same. I asked for a pizza with ricotta cheese on it and they explained on the phone they spread it on the dough before the sauce but I can't taste it at all, I prefer it in globs on the pizza like they do at the Roma's in olde town. Also, the sauce doesn't taste even remotely the same, and neither does the crust. It doesn't feel or taste like it was in a Wood-Fired oven. Also, I got a 2liter sprite but it was room temperature, not that everyone would be irritated by this but I am a fan of no ice sodas so it was kinda a buzz kill for me. We are staying over in Winchester on the way home to Tennessee from NY. Not feeling particularly great, we wanted some delivery food. This was our pick from the lot, and it was a good call. I will kindly give them five to bump the average. They deserve that. Here's why: They were quick with the food. They were easy on the phone. The pizza was very good. I believe they may be a bit pricier than other places around, but do you want cheaper or better? Your call. I ordered delivery from ROTG and for the price I was expecting something great, but I was very disappointed. The cheesy breadsticks are of low quality, obviously microwaved for maybe 4 seconds with a few slices of plastic "mozzarella" on top. I couldn't eat a whole breadstick. I also ordered the sausage rustica pizza, and it is the only reason I didn't give this meal one star. It was ok, I liked the toppings (aside from the plastic cheese). The sauce is on the sweeter side which I enjoyed the most. The crust was tough and hard to eat. I also ordered a Coca Cola and it was flat and watered down.
