Turns out, this is one of the cheapest places for a pedicure in the whole area where there are tons of nail spas. I booked an appointment for later that day. Once I arrived, they told me they were ready for me. They told me to pick a color. I felt the color selection was decent, but not as much as most places. Though, I do get the most basic of colors so that wasn't an issue. They started working on my toenails, scrubbed the bottom of my feet, and massaged my legs and feet. It was lovely and comfortable. I definitely found myself relaxed. While I was getting my pedicure done, I did notice that some people were waiting to get their nails done. The nail spa is definitely a bit short-staffed so I do recommend booking an appointment. She meticulously cut my oddly shaped nails and painted them on. I was done within an hour and went to the drying fans. I had a pleasant and wonderful time. This is exactly what a nail salon experience should be.

Im not too particular with my feet, but with my hands it was a disaster. (Although her foot massage was painful more than relaxing, I was not a fan). I had almond nails, she asked if I wanted them cut. They were grown out so I said yes, she cut two down to the skin (my nails were fairly long) assuming I said square before I stopped her. She insisted it was my fault because I said I wanted them cut. I already needed two tips, so that put me to four. The thumb she cut too short making it completely uneven with the other hand which she said she would build up and then never did. Worst part is I had to pay for the extra tips even though it was HER fault and of course going forward I will need to pay for those extra tips until they grow out so she just cost me money. It should of been free and my service should of been discounted given what happened. I didn't have it in me to fight. She made multiple cuticles bleed and she was so aggressive with them they were red and swollen even with those that didn't bleed. The nails were filed in weird shapes, all different, not truly almond and partly square on top. They look so horrible I'll have to fix them myself. Didn't use all the standard layers of powder and only one layer of top coat was used and the lady was passive aggressive. I've done power since before it was popularized and I've never had a service finish that quickly. She was done (with tips) in 45 min. The pedi time was about average: I still gave her the 20 percent tip but I regret it because it was a miserable experience. She absolutely didn't deserve it but having worked in the service industry when I was younger I always feel bad tipping less than that. To owner response: To infer I'm lying is disrespectful. I did not want that length nor did I say I want square. I was asked to trim and show a small trim and then cut short into a square despite shown otherwise and I WAS charged for the mistake. Also just to show that even the thumb wasn't built up as promised I'm adding a picture. Update on 3/18 3 days post service - adding another picture.... My whole nail is lifted.

The salon is clean and has a relaxing vibe, nice music that does not give you a headache, lots of natural light and many many colors to choose from. The two services, including a spa treatment with my pedicure, took about an hour and a half. That's basically nothing!!! They were so quick with my nails extensions. However, my pinky toe gel didn't hold up after five days () and two of my extension lifted off a bit and I ended up losing them (but that's my fault; as soon as I see an imperfection with my nails I tend to keep touching the area obsessively lol) They also have a points rewards system which I assume will be convenient on the long run. Overall it was a good experience and I can totally see myself going back.

Prep work for Acrylic wasn't done such as cuticle trimming, hangnails, drilling the natural nail for tackiness and longevity, shaping gel x almond without checking the work, the glue was still on the side of my fingers to the next day, not shaping my toes for pedicure and prepping (saying they were too short to cut when they were originally saying they could do round over square)... just overall fast 15 minute gel pedicure which i could've done at home.. just body scrub on my legs for 10 seconds which is ok... I asked if they had anything smaller for $10 and they gave me 2 5 dollar bills (when I clearly saw they had singles... lol). I gave a big tip for the service and maybe I wanted to tip a little less. But I felt I didn't have a choice and I didn't want to go back for a third time and ask for change. It was just pretty clear she wanted the $5 tip for her service. The salon has a wide variety of colors to choose from, and carry both OPI and Essie polishes which are my go-tos. On my last visit here I came at around 12 pm on a Tuesday for a regular manicure and pedicure and was able to be taken right away. I picked out a color and my manicurist got to work on my pedicure. She was very thorough and quick, which I appreciated. I opted for a 10 minute back massage as well while my nails dried which was also great. I paid $45 for a manicure, pedicure and 10 minute massage which I think is more than reasonable for the area. The salon itself is a little run down and colors are disorganized but for the price and service, I'm willing to overlook it.

I thought the nail tech lady was nice but she did leave paint on the cuticles. My biggest issue is that, when I was paying, I was given a total of $40. With tax that came to maybe $43-44. Totally fine. But when I asked to tip $15 on the card, rather than add my tip to the after tax amount, my new total was 55, and I was then taxed on the tip amount, which inflated the total by a few dollars more and is not standard practice because in addition to being tax on the tip, they also charge a credit card fee. This was basically the equivalent of tipping at a restaurant, then having the venue tax you on that amount. Not acceptable and not cool. Def bring cash for tips or avoid altogether!
