They always do an amazing job with my puppy while my doggie. She's a big girl and thank you to one of the best groomers around.

I'm grateful I work across the street at Peets Hardware because that's how I became aware of the grooming. They always do a fantastic fantastic job with my girl. Thanks, Tracy.

I've been going to Classy Canine's Wiggle Rumps for about a year now for my Husky's regular grooming (and also the occasional de-skunking). My dog may not enjoy the hand-off, but when I pick her up a few hours later, she is happy and comfortable with her brushed out, trimmed, and clean coat. The groomers here really go the extra mile to make your dog look as clean and cute as the day you brought them home. The bandana they get at the end is a nice touch. My only complaint, one that I can't bring myself to remove a star for, is that the website and online booking form really leave something to be desired. I get it, good web developers are expensive if you are a small business, and generally nobody is expecting a beautiful user interface for a dog grooming salon, but it should at least work properly and not having confusing options. That being said, it's worth it to just call and make an appointment by phone - yes, it's inconvenient and as a millennial requires me to psych myself up for 20 minutes prior to dialing, but it works better than trying to book on the website and you can explain exactly what services you want at that time so you don't show up for a nail trim and get a full bath package. I'll be continuing to bring my dog here for her regular grooming. I'm always a satisfied customer.

We have been going to this place since 2018 when our Pomeranian was a new born. Although not the cheapest, they are the highest quality in work, people and customer service. I will gladly pay for that any day, especially for my three beloved puppies. Keep up the excellent work.

I work for a company that HIGHLY values customer satisfaction, service recovery, and mutual respect. When a customer has questions and the business becomes defensive rather than trying to figure out where the breakdown happened, it's a huge red flag for me. Thus, we will not be supporting this business. See photos attached.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! We've been bringing our pug to get his nails trimmed here since last year. They're usually ok at handling him but this time it was different. Today, I picked him up from getting his nails trimmed at 2:11pm and he seemed fine. The lady at the front desk and the owner were there and did not mention any issues when I asked how he did. As I was getting out of the car when I got home, I noticed that he had what looked like a popped eye vessel. I was terrified so I took him straight to urgent care to get him checked. I called the groomer at 2:30pm from the vet and they did not pick up. I called again and left a voicemail and they haven't called me back. They didn't mention any issues when I picked him up, which makes it even scarier because I know accidents happen, but I should be notified of them!! This is incredibly neglectful! Do not support this business if you care about your pets. I just got my pug from the vet and he specifically said he had seen this before and that this had to happen from strangulation. My dog has no underlying conditions and was healthy before this.

I couldn't believe how good my doggos looked when I picked them up. One miniature poodle, terrier, chihuahua mix looks like a Westie and a Maltese Cockerpoo.

Very friendly staff, easy to locate. Haircut came out really nice. Also visited their Pet Store a few doors down and they were super friendly as well, gave us some complimentary treats to take home and I purchased more toys.

I took my 4.5 month old Yorkie, Kyla, for the first time today for her VIP treatment and I loved her new look! From the moment we checked in, to when I picked up, Mariana was super welcoming, informative and professional. We were also shown the facility from front to back and that helped me feel safe enough to drop off my puppy at Classy Canine's. Miguel worked on our Kyla and I was well aware that because it was Kyla's first time at the groomers that it was not going to be easy so I was not expecting a miracle but sure enough Miguel and the whole crew at Classy Canine's exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended them to 2 of my friends with puppies. We also checked out the pet store a few doors down and they had the cutest outfits and a variety of food and toys. They had a grooming station as well. I highly recommend this place & will most definitely be back!

My coworkers all take their dogs to Classy Canine, and I definitely know why now. We took Ronja here. She's a miniature labradoodle, and they did a fantastic job grooming her. These are the things that I liked about Classy Canine. Hopefully, they guide you and your pup to their doors: 1. They did a detailed intake of Ronja before she went in. They asked a lot of questions to make sure that they could support her personality and needs. For example, they asked me to honestly share how she does at groomers and how matted she was. (Fantastic and no mats btw) 2. When we dropped her off, they gave us a specific time. To make sure that she would be groomed to our liking, they had different examples of lengths and gapes for doodles. I like that they were so clear and careful. 3. When I picked her up, they gave me a tour of the facilities. There is an outside area for dogs to relieve themselves and to destress. There are multiple grooming areas including spaces for dogs to be groomed completely alone and away from other dogs. The funniest part was that one the day Ronja was groomed, there were seven other doodles being groomed. I guess it was their doodle day!!! They did a fantastic job. Ronja was happy. The price was decent for our 33 pound cutie.

I originally started coming here for training with Ria when I brought home a new puppy and my other two dogs were not getting along with him. Through her training, all of my dogs have developed the skills they needed. The training is ongoing and I've been able to go at a pace that works for my schedule and budget. I now feel much more in control of my dogs' behavior. All three of my dogs are reactive in different ways and the training has made a huge difference. Ria is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in a way that actually helps me understand what I'm doing and why. She's also very consistent, which I really appreciate. I've worked with other trainers before, but it never felt like an ongoing relationship where I could ask questions or continue learning like I can with Ria. We've done both individual sessions and group reactivity classes and I love that my dogs get to practice being around other dogs in a structured, non-judgmental environment. I've seen real progress in each of them. One has improved with aggressive and overprotective behavior, another has built confidence, and my third has gained obedience skills and improved socialization. I also use their daycare for my youngest dog and he absolutely loves it. He's been going for about six months now. He comes home happy and tired from physical activity and mental enrichment. The facility is great, the staff are caring, and I love getting photo updates. It's also a big plus that they have grooming services on-site. It gives me extra peace of mind that the facilities are all indoors and they work closely with the vet next door in case of an emergency. I'm really grateful to have found a place that supports both my dogs and me!

I'm writing this review to share my deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Yoon at this clinic on…read moreDecember 10th and 11th, following an urgent medical situation with my mini dachshund, Maple -- I believed she had eaten a small hand towel. The day before visiting Gentle Care, Maple was seen at VEG Emergency Vet, where I paid $1,200 for her initial assessment. The ER vet advised that Maple would need one final X-ray the next morning to determine whether surgery was necessary, as she had already vomited and passed pieces of the towel she ingested. Their recommendation was clear, so I brought Maple to Gentle Care on December 10th expecting a simple follow-up and the final imaging. Instead, I encountered inconsistent communication, unclear diagnostic decisions, and fluctuating pricing that made an already stressful situation even harder--especially because I and my family were actively trying to pull together the funds for whatever treatment Maple might need. Accurate, stable estimates were essential so I could understand how to move forward and how my family could help cover the cost of her care. On December 10th, I arrived at 9:30 AM:     *    I was quoted $820 verbally for a full day of diagnostics, including an ultrasound and contrast X-rays.     *    I received no updates until I called at 3:00 PM and was told there was no information yet.     *    When I called again to confirm the cost, the total had increased to $1,100--a $280 increase I did not approve, with no added services beyond the original plan.     *    At pickup, instead of receiving the final X-ray the ER vet recommended, I was told I had to return the next morning before Dr. Yoon could determine whether surgery was necessary. This required me to call out of work at the last minute, which was stressful and disruptive. On December 11th, I returned for the final X-ray (provided at no charge) and paid an additional $360 for blood work and fluids.     *    After reviewing the images, Dr. Yoon presented two possible surgical options--endoscopic removal or direct surgery--but did not provide guidance on which option was best for Maple's condition.     *    I was given a verbal surgery estimate of $4,000.     *    When I asked for a written estimate so I could secure pre-approval from my pet insurance (PetsBest) and request a CareCredit limit increase, the printed estimate suddenly increased to $5,000, without any explanation. * Dr. Yoon also said the surgery could wait another day and that I would have to drive Maple to Danville to the other vets office he works with. The quote I received was from that hospital and not Gentle Care.     *    Dr. Yoon also told me he would only accept my insurance if I could get pre-approval on that estimate, which was not possible. All of this was incredibly difficult to navigate. My family and I were trying everything we could to ensure Maple received the care she needed--we were gathering funds, adjusting schedules, and making decisions in real time. The constant price changes and lack of clear direction made it feel nearly impossible to plan responsibly for her treatment. For context, before even arriving at Gentle Care, I had paid $1,200 at VEG ER. At Gentle Care, I then paid $1,100 on December 10th and another $360 on December 11th. Maple's care was never something I hesitated to pursue; we were simply trying to understand what the actual cost would be so we could pay for it. Given the ER vet's recommendation that Maple only needed a final X-ray--and considering she had already vomited and passed parts of the towel--I now seriously question whether an entire additional day of diagnostics was necessary. Ultimately, I took Maple to Noble Vet, where she received clear recommendations and had her foreign body surgery performed for $3,090.65. My family helped me cover the cost, and the experience there was transparent, supportive, and professional--everything I hoped for from the start. I believe the diagnostics performed at Gentle Care were excessive, delayed Maple's needed surgery, and resulted in inflated and inconsistent charges. I hope the clinic reviews the communication and pricing issues from December 10th and 11th so other pet owners don't face the same confusion during a medical emergency. UPDATE: We unfortunately had to put Maple to sleep on Dec. 14th after she became septic. After speaking with the vet at Noble Vet and VEG in San Ramon I believe the delay in surgery resulted in a more complex and risky surgery. I will be looking for another veterinarian for the remainder of my pets.

Analyn did a wonderful job caring for our beloved cat Fion while we were gone for two whole weeks…read more We received lots of photos and updates and loved that Fion could walk around and hang out in different places rather than being in a kennel or "cat condo" for two whole weeks. Unfortunately, a cat sitter who drops by the house doesn't work for us because Fion ruins the house if she is left alone. So being able to leave Fion at Analyn's house works out very well for us. We highly recommend iThink Pet to other pet owners!

My husband and I were so fortunate to find iThink Pet in 2016 when searching for a new cat sitter…read moreon Yelp, after we moved to San Leandro. We had excellent cat sitters for several years (but were moving to a new location where they no longer could serve) so we were very anxious to find the "right fit". The search was over upon meeting Analyn Carino. She was kind, personable and passionate about her business. We also thought it was wonderful this was a family run business where her brother, Jason, would also be working with us. We have found Jason and Analyn's associates to be very attentive to our last minute cat sitting needs and requests. This is one of their greatest strengths, their excellent communication and responsiveness. Daily photos, and daily texts to keep us informed! Wow! When they arrive at our home to watch over Loke, our flame-point short hair Siamese and Mocha, our black medium hair tabby, they work extra hard to ensure we can have peace of mind while we are out of town. From these daily updates, summaries and taking photos of our fur babies to taking in our packages that arrive at our front step as well checking our mail, they are professional, dedicated and easy to work with. We appreciate their concern and gentle treatment of Loke and Mocha, as if they were their own pets, which is one of our top priorities in retaining pet sitting services. We highly recommend Analyn, Jason and the iThinkPets team. If you ever have a question, feel free to reach out to myself through Yelp as we would proudly provide a referral! We welcome questions and happily available to share our own personal positive stories and experiences after working with iThinkPet since 2016. They are wonderful and Loke and Mocha love them like family. Thanks so much Analyn and Jason! We iThinkPet!
