I have taken my Maltese to a few different groomers in the past but this one was by far the worst…read more The groomer was rude while I was explaining how I wanted her hair cut, i specifically said I don't want her cut short and I want her to have a very round teddy bear cut. He snatched her out of my hands and said he usually takes 3 hours but if they are bad dogs he take 4 hours. So 4 and a half hours go by and he still hasn't called. So I gave him a call to check in on her and he gets angry with me and says "you don't need to call me to remind me to give your dog back. I'll call you when I'm done." so after 5 hours I go to get her because I've never heard of a groomer taking more than 5 hours for a bath and cut and he tells me that she is a super bad dog because I carry her around. First off, she's not bad. She's a puppy and she is trained if you talk to her calmly. Second, I only carried her inside because I knew I would need to take her leash anyways once I got inside so I just didn't take her with one. Anyways. So he goes on to say that she wiggles too much while she's being groomed and then he brings her out and SHES COMPLETELY BALD. Now mind you, I brush her everyday so she isn't matted or anything like that so there should have been no reason he needed to shave her bald. Not to mention she was terrified of him when I got her back. She whimpered and flinched when he went to touch her after I was holding her and then when I got home she flinched at anyone who came near her while she laid next to me and whined. He did something to make her scared and I don't know what it was but I will never be taking her back and I hope no one else lets him hurt their babies either.

The groomer had got rid of all my dogs hair trimmed it bare to the body. The groomer said, is this not what you wanted? I'm like no, I made sure to say I wanted a minimum trim to his length. We live in Ohio and it's the middle of winter. We were only visiting for the holiday. He's like oh, well it'll grow back. The groomer, offered me a free bath and wash to make up for HIS MISTAKE. He did what he WANTED not what he got PAID to do. I'm like, oh, fine I'll take a quick bath and groom not full service to make up for YOUR mistake. I was billed the full price for a service that was not well done. In addition his nails were still long and chipped. I have photos of the poor nail trim as well. When it came time for us to leave I let the groomer know and he asked if he could come by and I said yes. He never followed up and gas lighted me. Not only did he rip me off on the service he didn't even follow up with making up a mini service. It's been 6 weeks since service. we are back in Columbus and my poor puppy who loves the snow can't be outside for long because his hair hasn't grown back long enough for the snow we just had. I have to buy him winter clothes when he was nice and warm before we left for the holidays in the snow. I'd never recommend this mobile service. When we go back to Bakersfield I'll be going somewhere else.

I got the Sunny's De-Shed and added the Antibacterial & Antifungal for her skin irritation. We were provided a FURminator and 2 other brushes and an extra towel because she knew our dog would require it. Very nice. The shop has a cold case for raw bones and cold food for the dogs. A ton of natural treats. Anything you need for your dogs are here- I didn't look at cat supplies, so I can't comment on that.
