Since new ownership, this is the third time I have bought something from this store and found the original price tag on the item that was significantly lower than what I paid--This is supposed to be consignment store and it is not. Also any item that is considered designer label is marked up -so no bargain. A consignment store is supposed to be fun and provide discounts but this store does not. This used to be a great little consignment shop. Since it came under new management, I've only had frustrating experiences. The racks are so full that you cannot move the hangers to view the inventory, and as result, the clothing often falls off the hangers. Prices seem to have increased. The clearance discount has evidently changed, though that is not communicated anywhere. During my most recent visit, the air was off and the store smelled like dirty feet making for an even more unpleasant experience. My tolerance for the temperature and odor quickly waned upon learning that the air conditioning was not just malfunctioning, but was deliberately turned off at the preference of the new owner... Never mind offering customers a comfortable shopping experience. read more

Used to be a good place to buy nice clothes reasonable. The last three times I have been there, there have been inconsistencies on pricing. Tags say one thing, register says something else, associates say they have to charge higher price. I won't be going back, new management is ruining the business. read more

Under new management as of 2024. It used to be a fun little consignment stores with reasonable prices. No longer and the staff is about as personable as an alligator with indigestion. Avoid...there are plenty of other consignment stores that are doing it better read more

Do not shop here unless you don't mind shady business practice. Under new management I was getting a few items and then owner ran my card without giving me the total ibasked her if I could put 2 things back bc i did not plan to spend that much and shebsaid "oh sorry I already ran the card" so I said well then I need to return these 2 items and she said " we don't take returns" so I was stuck with the purchase and she said " it's not my fault you cant afford it" (whichbibhad called my oldest daughter whonheard her say that) and i said it's not that i cant afford it, it was just more than i wanted to spend. Needless to say, I did, in fact, act a little like a Karen, but this is a very horrible business practice. I WOULD AVOID THIS SHOP FROM NOW ON. read more

I love this place! I've been going here on and off since my grandmother showed it to me a couple years ago! I always find great deals here on basics like sweaters, shorts, and t-shirts! I've also found a few pieces that are super unique like a silk bathrobe with suns and moons all over it, and designer brands like nice business style dresses. They keep great care of their clothing and it's all ironed and smells good. Not dusty or dirty at all. And everything is super organized, unlike other consignment shops I've been to. The prices of items lower the longer they've been in the shop, and the tag will tell you when the prices will change and what they will change too. Plus, the staff is super nice and will give you the next lowest price if it's supposed to change in a day or too (if you ask nicely!) read more

I can't believe all of the great deals that I've found here. First of all they have amazing jewelry at really low prices. The earrings I've bought always garner compliments. Same with the necklaces, which can often be purchased with matching earrings at well over 50% what you would pay at the department store. My best buy yet has been a wool Jones of New York pea coat that I nabbed for $17.95. I was so psyched! I'm making it a habit to check out their stores at least once a week to make sure I don't let any deals slip by. read more

This place is about the worse consignment shop i have ever dealt with. It is a combination of bad manners and ethic and rude sales help. The clothes displayed are very rustic and vintage and reek Madam geek. I witnessed two people bringing in DESIGNER, HIP , FASHIONS and were turned down. Funny, too that Karina's original posting was a bit negative on this place, and two other posts have been removed by the OP. Just sayin'. Not every body in business should be in business. Stopped by here before dinner last night. The lady working said hello and continued organizing. I felt they had a wide variety to offer. When I was finished and was checking out I had a nice conversation with the employee. Prices seemed fair and the store was clean. Was slightly crowded with all of the stuff they had. My favorite consignment store! The items are clean, pressed, on hangers and in style. The merchandise is arranged by size and is easy to navigate. I have found some awesome items at really good prices in this store. I try to check in as often as I can! The collect of items was okay. There was a lot of forever 21, h&m, Chico's, etc. with some coach and MK wallets in the front display case. The clothing ranged from about 10-20 dollars a piece. The owner i didn't offer any sort of customer service though, and mostly ignored myself and my party the entire time while she sat on her phone. read more

If you're looking to sell items - go somewhere else. I took 3 suits brand new with tags, a wool pea coat and several blouses - my pay out was $7. I thought it was a mistake and asked how many items I still had on the floor and the rude lady I spoke to said "none". A few of my nieghbors used this store as well and thought they'd been ripped off too, but you can't question the staff without them immediately getting angry. Also, one day while I was in the store shopping I heard one of the employees bragging to a customer that since the company is family owned they don't have to worry about making customers happy and shouldn't get concerned if a customer complains. I actually created a yelp account to write this review, as I found negative reviews online and I simply cannot agree with them. I love this store! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the selection was wonderful!!! Items were organized correctly by size, and you can bring as many items as you want into the fitting room. I've found many great deals here! Be sure to check the clearance racks, you can find some great deals there! The clothing items are name brand, and in style. Open 7 days a week... what more could you ask for?! One more thing, I find it funny that someone would complain that their items aren't being purchased. It's a consignment store! There's no guarantee that someone is going to want your particular piece of clothing. I have and will continue to recommend this store 100% :) read more

The clothes and deals are fine...however the owner is not very friendly and the emails I receive for updates and deals are unprofessional and poorly written. Grammar and spelling matter. My huge issue is, when I brought some items there to sell they got stolen and the owner just shrugged and basically said, "not my problem". I will not bring items there again. The deals and shopping are fine though. But it would have been 5 stars if the customer service was even a little decent. A friendly, helpful employee goes a long way. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! VERY Poor Customer Service!! !On Dec 10, 2013 I stopped in the Union Classy and Sassy that I had visited on many occasions, I stopped to look for purchase a few dress shirts or Sweaters for my Husband for upcoming holiday parties, I found two Items and I purchased them, total bill 21.00 and change, I was pleased, brought them home, showed my husband and three minutes later he is showing me HOLES in the sweater, that was LOOKED at by the Staff and Classy and Sassy, tagged, (looked at again) put on a hanger ( looked at again) then put on the rack, ( looked at again) My mistake, I TRUSTED they had done their job. I immediately returned to the store, and showed them the problem, to which the girl behind the counter Quickly and apologetically, informed me that there are no refunds or credits, and I working in customer service KNOW this is not true, I deal with Customers that expect Good customer service , as WE all do and deserve as Consumers. This was not the case with My experience, I am very disappointed, I didn't even want my money back, just an exchange and I would have been thrilled to death and would not be writing this now. Yes I am upset, YES I am very disappointed It will be a very long time before setting foot back inside this Consignment Shop as I was not treated as a valuable customer, it was a cut and run operation, and I am truly dis satisfied. I left the sweater, and My receipt, and asked them to give it to someone else. Sad truth is it will probably be put back out for another trusting customer to make this same mistake. read more

I have shopped this store for over two years. As for one of the reviews saying they have "rustic" clothes That is so far from the truth. In fact, I believe anyone wanting to purchase "rustic" clothes would be hard pressed to find any. The clothing is nice, and the variety is great and sizes too. I am plus sized and never have a hard time finding anything. As for customer service, I feel they could be nicer, but stress can do a lot to people. Now mind you, they are not mean at all, but seemed stressed at times. But there is a lot to be said for not being bothered while shopping:)I think to act a little more appreciated for their customers would be nice. This store is worth coming to, please no bashing, we need all the small business we can get. read more

Okay, I usually do not write posts but the couple of negative posts got to me and are really unbelievable. I owned my own consignment shop with my mother about 15 years ago when they were just up and coming. I have been to just about every shop in Ohio and NKY. Classy & Sassy not only has a wide variety of nice clothes, furniture and home accessories, I have taken many things in most are taken and some are not ( I do not question the expertise since I have sold usually 95-100% of what I take in). I have made over $600 in the past two years and usually turn around and buy things. I have purchase a few pieces of art and furniture as well. The owner runs a tight ship and is easy to work with. I have never had "rude" service. But let's face it , it is not SAX FIFTH for goodness sakes! Give credit where credit is due and it is due at Classy & Sassy. I moved back to Ohio and still go to both shops once a month in NKY. Keep up the great work C&S! read more
