I came into the store when the consignment period was about to be due. I was told that they have a buying waiting to close on a new home in a couple of weeks. 8 months later, I still have not been paid a penny. They have had my table and equipment for almost a year now. Edgar and Carlos keep telling me the check is in the mail. There is nothing in the mail. My opinion is that they are criminals, keeping my table/equipment, keeping my money, lying about selling it and sending a check for it.

I thought we were cooking, but it turns out that we got to sit and learn how to cook! The chef does these classes in two locations; one in Fort Lauderdale, and one in Delray Beach. Today we attended the class at Bagel Twins restaurant in Delray Beach. Tonight's menu included Lobster! We started off with a delicious Lobster ravioli with a lemon wine sauce and wilted arugula. From there we had the most divine lobster bisque I've ever tasted. Chef Cooks all of this in front of you and asks for participation from the audience. He had many Sous chefs tonight! After the bisque, he made the most incredible Lobster bruschetta with a balsamic glaze on top. And to finish off the evening he served the most delicious lobster mac and cheese I have ever had in my entire life! When you take his classes, he will email you the recipes of everything he cooked that night. My friends and I had so much fun and we would definitely go back for another demonstration and meal! The e-mails continued even beyond normal business hours to ensure we walked away as satisfied customers. The refund was returned the very next day. Even with the way things went on the premises in person, we are more than satisfied with their effort to make it right. Thank you, Escapology. We called on a Monday afternoon to inquire about availability, we were told they had openings and she would take our info over the phone and charge us for one person to hold a spot for us as we were twenty minutes away. When we asked about parking, the person on the phone instructed us that there was a parking garage on Cortez St, but she failed to mention that we could get parking validated by them for $15 and not have to pay the $21 parking fee. We only learned about the parking validation from the sign on the entry desk after we had already paid for parking in the garage around the block and we weren't going back down there to haggle for the $6 savings. There is also a sign as you enter the building that says to ask about the walk in discount. We asked about the discount four separate times, as we had two people paying for families, and each time Myesa ignored the question. It wasn't until she was asking for my payment that I stated she was ignoring our question and she told us we couldn't get the walk in discount because we called first. We asked how much the discount would have been and she said 20%, so with our group total of $280 that would have saved us $56 dollars. Note: it doesn't have any terms or conditions for the discount listed on the sign. After we stated it would have been nice to know that on the phone as well, Myesa was a bit smug, but showed us to our room. There are no bathrooms for paying customers, you must go downstairs one level to use the public restroom. For the price you pay at this location, which is the most expensive escape room we've ever done, for not any better quality or courteous staff, we won't be returning. The only bonus about this escape room is that it is right on the beach and close to many other restaurants and things to see and do. Find another escape room where they actually care about the customer.
