There are no signs or instructions telling you where paint belongs, so we naturally brought it back to our table. Instead of politely explaining the process, the owner yelled at us and snapped, "You're not the only ones here!" Funny thing... we actually were the only customers there. The entire studio feels disorganized, and unfortunately, the owner's people skills are even more scattered. Her manners are almost their own form of comic relief--except no one was laughing. A little kindness, basic organization, and clear signage would go a long way. Pottery is supposed to be a relaxing, creative experience, not one where customers get scolded for not reading signs that don't exist. I won't be back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere. One star.

I came in wanting to design my own plate - so I can use it for hosting friend and family for meal times! This is the large plate and I opted to do the glossy acrylic paint. My project took me about 10 hours to paint! lol I was not expecting that, but I had no clue either just how much time and detail and work it takes to sketch and paint. I paid the one time fee for the plate, which includes paints. However, when doing the glossy acrylic (which does have to go in the oven), there is an additional $5-10 charge for the kiln service. Additionally, this means the project stays for about another week for the process to take place. There is another type of acrylic they have that is same day take home (no additional charges). The shop is small, found in the galleria mall and there are plenty of paints to choose from! Would absolutely return! They have a rotation of items to paint- based on seasons too. We were asked if we would like them glazed and we said yes not realizing this is not done right away. So we left our pieces with them and were told it could take 5-7 days and we did not get a text message that our items were ready until 6:41 pm on November 25th. The pieces came out beautiful but the information about it not being glazed on site should be disclosed prior to purchase. Then if you are an out of towner, since this place is so close to the beach, those customers won't be able to get their items glazed prior to their vacation ending because most people aren't in town for 7+days. It's just a bit inconvenient when you are spending upwards of $50 on these items and others places that are cheaper would glaze your items on site. I don't think I'll be back just because we want instant gratification.

We rented out the studio for two hours on a Saturday and it was really easy to coordinate and chat with the studio owner through Instagram. The owner wasn't there for the party but she had a friend running her studio who was super helpful from beginning to end! We were able to bring in our own food and set up around the studio how we wanted to. I decided to do a bakery & floral theme and it really came to life in their quaint and colorful studio. They had so many pottery pieces to choose from! This easily took up a good amount of time so make sure to factor that in when visiting or booking for a party. Once we all picked our pieces, they had aprons and palettes set up and helped explain the colors we could choose from. From there, we started painting. I absolutely loved doing this craft at the studio and my whole party had such a great time. The price of renting the studio included the glazing and firing and each person just had to pay for their own pottery piece of their choice. I was able to pick up all the pieces within 2 weeks and we absolutely love them! A great spot to do pottery painting in the Broward area!
