Wow... I'm a fan! I had so much fun at this mixology class for my friend's birthday. We did purchase tickets in advance. The instructors kept the vibe going with great music and energy. They made the environment fun and relaxed. By the end, we were all besties! The studio is beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Great for group events. We made three different drinks. Some of the mixers were pre-poured, and others we poured ourselves. The instructors walked us through the entire process, even how to properly shake a shaker. I didn't think we'd need an in-depth tutorial on that, but we definitely did because spills happen. Lol. The drinks were very tasty. I do wish there had been a bit more instruction on adjusting sweetness levels. They offer different classes at the studio, including candle-making, body butter, perfume, and mixology classes. I am writing regarding the body butter class I attended for Mother's Day with my mother and sister. I specifically chose this experience as a special treat for my mother, expecting it to be enjoyable and memorable. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. Upon arrival, we were barely greeted. We sat for approximately 20-30 minutes with no clear direction, no explanation of when the class would begin, and no acknowledgment from the host. Eventually, Jen introduced herself and instructed us to choose our scents, but after that, there was very little guidance or organization provided. The entire class felt confusing and poorly managed. Not only were my sister and I left to figure out the process ourselves, but we also ended up helping other participants because everyone appeared equally confused about what they were supposed to be doing. The host was inattentive throughout the experience, and communication was minimal and unclear. While I understand that every host has a different personality and communication style, leading a paid group experience requires a level of attentiveness, confidence, and engagement that was unfortunately missing. Overall, the environment did not feel welcoming, organized, or worth the price paid. I spent $210 for this experience for my mother, sister, and myself, and I genuinely do not feel that the service provided reflected that cost in any way. What was intended to be a positive Mother's Day memory turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience instead. read more

I wanted to try a mixology class and stumbled on Seven Layer. Booking was easy through their website. Upon arrival there's a warm welcoming by Lauren and a beautiful decorated room. The table was nicely organized with all the essentials for the guests. A grace period was given before getting started. Jennifer was the bartender for the evening. She did an excellent job explaining the process and what all event into making each drink. All items were carefully measured to ensure that we had a balanced drink. We made the following: Mango French 75, Mistletoe drop and Autumn margarita. They gifted us a parting gift, which was a nice surprise. Our group was so fun, and had a few guest that were celebrating their birthday. This spot is great for any occasion. We had the opportunity to make three signature drinks. We made the Kiwi Martini, mango margarita and blue Hawaiian for $67 each. Trust me, no alcohol was spared. You get to pour from a bottle and instructions and measurement were clear. Also most of the ingredients were already measured out. The only thing missing was finger foods to go along with the cocktails. Overall we all I Enjoyed my night. We had music playing the background which added to the fun. I'll definitely be back to try one of their other experiences. The mixology class was EVERYTHING!! As many other reviewers stated, it is such a great activity to do as a girls' night or any celebration for that matter. During the class, we made a total of 3 cocktails and each one was so good! Jennifer, our host/mixologist, was so kind and such a great instructor! You cannot tell me that I am not a bartender LOL!! We had so much fun and cannot recommend this place enough! I was a little disappointed because we did not receive the promised email with the drink recipes. My experience was very enjoyable I came on a Thursday with an appointment for the candle making. It wasn't full only three people including me which was fine by me. I had a strawberry margarita which was super tasty there was music and the candle instructor was very sweet and educational about the candle making. There are more glass looking candle bases that are additional $5 they also do fluid art paint , and soon perfumes/colognes! It was a really easy process super fun, you can't light the candle for two weeks due to it being 100% organic . There were so many scents! Such a fun experience in Fort Lauderdale. This place offers different types of classes for all ages but I went for a mixology class. We were greeted as we walked in, the atmosphere is bright and inviting. Our mixologist Jennifer was supper knowledgeable and walked us through each drink and offered some ideas of variation. You get to make three drinks (which change so you can go back multiple times and not so the same thing) . In between each one we got to enjoy our creations. They came out so delicious. This perfect place to host any event, from intimate gathering to even a date. I chose to have my birthday celebration here and this was one of the best birthday celebrations. I went the private party booking route and reserved the D.J for an additional fee. We had an amazing time, non stop laughs, DJ played all the right hits, our teacher Jessica was phenomenal. The owners were so kind and communicated via email on a timely manner. They even adjusted to my guest needed mocktail, due to not drinking alcohol.
