I came for the sushi-making class, and overall, it was a really good time. The setup was smooth, the atmosphere was lively, and the whole experience felt more like a social night out with a little culinary cosplay which honestly, has its place. They also offered wine and sake pairings, and you can BYOB, which definitely helps keep the vibe festive. That said... if you're hoping to leave with the confidence to open your own omakase counter in a strip mall, this is not that. A lot of the components were pre-made or prepped ahead of time, and there wasn't a ton of actual teaching around technique, ingredients, or the food itself. So while you do "make sushi," it's less MasterClass and more cute, hands-on dinner activity. But honestly? That's not necessarily a bad thing. Not every class needs to end with a knife skills certification and a spiritual relationship with sushi rice. Bottom line: Come here if you want a fun, low-pressure experience for a date night, girls' night, or team outing. Just set expectations correctly: this is more about the experience than becoming the next IronChef.

I found Luke on another site with ratings on personal chefs. He had many high ratings so I reached out by email and he quickly responded. We talked over the phone about the party that I was planning, general numbers on size of party (20), what we wanted (courses with wine pairings from my wine library) and when. Luke responded with a sample menu that was pretty much exactly what we did. He was spot on with the suggestions. (Descriptions In attached pictures). Luke and his assistant arrived 3 hours early for prep and were great conversation as we prepared for the party. We changed the order of courses to better fit the wine progression and he was helpful and adaptable. They brought almost everything they needed. Luke used our oven, range, blender and countertop, but otherwise had everything they needed. They also brought plates. We had the wine glasses and disposable silverware. They served the dishes and poured the wine coursing for guests and we did it in casual fashion with people standing and mingling. Every course hit the mark and at least 3 people asked for his information to use him. I will add more details on the individual dishes later, but if you read the descriptions in the pictures know they were each executed very well. After dinner they cleaned all dishes and glasses as well as the kitchen. It was very refreshing late the next morning when we rolled out of the rack to survey the damage. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!

We picked their Brazilian menu and it was absolutely incredible!! A few people weren't crazy about tres leches, so we had requested another dessert option- the lemon tart with blueberry mint syrup...and it was AMAZING. Now, on to the service. We had one guest with a couple allergies- all I did was point her out and nothing had to be sent back. They handled it with zero issues. Also, we had a guest who is 9 months pregnant, and she had brought some "Nosecco" so she could enjoy some bubbly without the booze....and Manny was ALWAYS there to refill her glass. She didn't have to lift a finger, and I really noticed and appreciated that. Attention to details is big to me and these guys really checked the box! This was the first time any of us have hired a private chef to cook for us and we were excited to see if we even liked it- and after they left, we were already discussing what to do next year!

They do a whole lot more than just teach some recipes. They created a really fun experience that my guests could feel totally part of. They were organized and well prepared. The recipes were delicious. Everything was timed to be ready in stages. Even my guests who typically don't like to cook got into the action. It was a totally fun experience. We are looking for another time to plan another event.

I recently moved to Plano and have been researching fun activities to participate in. Running in 90+ degree temps with humidity will tire a girl out! Something needs to be indoors. Enter, an incredible pastry class. I'm no rookie when it comes to culinary classes. I love them! I love cooking and baking and always learn something new from a class. It's something I throughly enjoy. This experience was 5 STARS! Everyone was so warm, friendly, inclusive and kind. We really had the absolute best time. I've been trying to feel a sense of community after relocating and the other students, as one told me are "my people". My week days have been spent in an altogether different environment that regardless of if it's cultural has brought me down in a real way. I was looking for an afternoon of joie. The class was so inviting, hands on and fun! We made a bunch of items, shared snacks and our creations together. On break another student in class gave me a tour of Central Market since I'd never been to one. Grabbing coffee, exchanging business cards with others, bookmarking a ton of new spots to try and learning about other fun activities was truly worth every dollar spent to join this 4hr class. It felt exactly like what I had imagined moving to Texas with Texans would feel like. It attracted the finest residents. I can't wait to return. They have an all star line up of classes and August is hatch chili month. I will surely be signing up for at least one class a month. The florals are also totally worth mentioning, the store and class is adorned in the most incredible arrangements. It really was such a lovely class. Now if I can find someone to teach me Mahjong! The store is also gorgeous! I'm definitely at the age where I couldn't care less about local bars, show me a stunning grocery store! Coming from Los Angeles, dare I say it... Central Market might be better than Erewhon.
