That strongly implied the store tracks this information to avoid selling the same or very similar dresses to multiple students attending the same event. Despite that, at least five other girls from her graduating class have since purchased extremely similar dresses from this store. As a result, my daughter no longer feels comfortable wearing the dress she was originally so excited about. I contacted the store directly to ask why this information is collected if duplicate dresses are still sold for the same prom, and to see if there were any options to resolve the situation. The store never responded. For a business that charges premium prices and markets a personalized prom experience, this is unacceptable. If there is no exclusivity policy, customers should be clearly told that upfront. Collecting detailed school/prom information while continuing to sell near-identical dresses to the same event is misleading. Future customers should ask very specific questions about duplication and exclusivity before spending this kind of money here.

I had the unfortunate circumstance of my bridesmaid dress no longer fitting, which I realized just 10 days before the wedding. I called ahead to inquire if they had the dress in stock, hoping to try on a few sizes, return the one I had, and rush order a new one online. When I arrived, they were waiting for me and had dresses ready for me to try on right away. Once we settled on the right size, they got to work with the exchange. A return would not be allowed, so an exchange would be necessary and the store would have to order the dress to be shipped there, rather than directly to me. The arrival date was 2 days after I needed it. SueAnn, Evelyn, Louann, and another young lady worked tirelessly (given it was nearly 9pm) to call corporate and insist on rush shipping from the warehouse to the store. SueAnn even followed up with them the next day and demanded overnight shipping if the order had not yet left the warehouse. The staff understood the urgency of my situation, and although it was my fault that it was so last-minute, showed no judgment -- only compassion and dedication to helping me get the problem solved. The dress arrived 3 days before I needed it -- perfect timing that would not have been possible without the tremendous efforts of their team! I know there are a few locations surrounding the Boston area, but the Danvers location is the best!!! I cannot thank them enough! And the bride never has to know. ;)

So, the bride made an appointment for us to go. The bride had already bought a wedding dress prior to the appointment. The appointment was only to choose bridesmaid dresses. When I was walking around holding several dresses I planned to try on, one of the staff members saw me and immediately ripped the dresses out of my hands. She said that I cannot try on dresses because brides tend to like all the attention on them during appointments. (Ironically, the bride is the least vain person I know and is definitely not one to seek attention!) I explained that she already had a wedding dress and we came here for bridesmaid dresses. Even after explaining, she did not believe me and put the dresses behind the counter and walked away. I eventually had to get the bride to come over (which pulled her away from looking at all her friends trying on dresses!) and explain the same thing to her. Then, the staff member finally believed my story but she did not apologize or give me back my dresses. I was forced to start all over on looking for dresses from the racks. It made me miss out on trying dresses with everyone else because I had to spend more time in the racks looking. By the time I found some more dresses, everyone else was pretty much already done trying dresses on. I will never shop at David's Bridal ever again.

On this particular visit to the store I was looking to replenish some Lancome skincare items and the saleslady was able to quickly find the items that I was asking for. I also saw an eyeshadow that looked good so I decided to buy that along with the couple of skincare items that I was purchasing. The beauty department was running a sale for 15% off their beauty products so I got a pretty decent deal on my items. The saleslady who waited on me was efficient and was a pleasure to deal with. We went in to get fitted- we probably picked the wrong day the staff was super busy because it was wedding season! (Late June I was there of 2022). We waited as the people ahead of us were taken care of then proceeded to be fitted. I will say right off the bat I have a weird body shape- no jacket seemed to fit right- again weird body shape McGee over here. One of the other tailors freed up and took us right on back to the fitting rooms. He had me sized up in no time and in a comfy suit then went to work on fitting my stepson. After a few minutes we were looking spiffy and comfortable. I watched as rack after rack of groomsmen tuxes were bagged up and labeled ready for pickup, the tailor joked with us both about how crazy busy it was as he fitted us and generally kept us at ease. Suits rented- money paid and off we went. Here's the nice part- the shop was nice enough to let us rent the suits about a week early and when went to return them the shop was closed as the team was off for the 4th of July (well deserved after the craziness I witnessed with the weddings lol). So I called their number and left a message asking what do as I was going on vacation. Maria called me back and told me to not to worry about it and bring the suits in when I got back- there would be no late charge. Good to her word we were not charged and it was an overall great interaction with the shop. They take cash, venmo, and credit- but there is an extra fee for the credit card processing- a sign on the counter states this as well. One downside is there is not seating area in the main shop to wait- but the shop is so full of suits, and tuxes it makes sense why it's not there. Other than that- thank you Russo's for your kindness and understanding throughout the process of rental and return!

Christina did an excellent job with all the alterations she made. She was friendly, personable, efficient, and talented. At my final fitting, I wasn't loving how my chest sat in the dress with the cups and Christina made sure I was happy before leaving that day. We altered the cups quite a few times until it worked with my body.
