I think I just found my favorite store in downtown Snohomish. You need to take your time when…read morewalking through this store as there is so much to see! I like the way the store is laid out, too - groupings of clothing, accessories, decor, vintage items, soaps, lotions, oils and so on. We also met the owner's adorable dog (he was crying out for his mama when she briefly left the store) along with friendly staff. Purchased some cute t-shirts for friends who were visiting from out of town and pillowcases. I definitely need to go back and take my time shopping.

Told it would take "about a week". They even gave us the phone number of the person making the bench if we ever needed to communicate with him. Two weeks later, tried calling to get the status. Neither the store nor the bench maker answers their phone, and they don't return messages. You need to physically go in the store to find out the status. It is now third week of August, 7 weeks later, and we've visited the store three times to find out the status. Each time we're told that they'll call us when it's ready and made to feel foolish for inquiring. Last time, 3 weeks ago, we were told it'll be there the next day. Custom furniture is a joke. No follow through or communication. Edit down the street has a person to suggest instead. Check with them.

You need an agent that is the best of the best, that can manage a crisis if there is one and hold your hand at the beginning, middle, end and a bit afterwards of the whole process as well. No amatures allowed.. Tanya Mock, as well as two or three other local agents were the few that trudged and slogged through the 08-10 recession period which took out contractors, agents as well as any other business that was related to the housing market. It wasnt pretty. Most just gave up. Living almost 3000 miles away and deciding to sell our Snohomish house was the first step in deciding on an agent to be the gate keeper. You want an agent that does it as a dedicated full time job, not someone who is doing it as a side activity part time. They need to be there for you. An actual salesperson is a must, not just someone who can do the paperwork. Tanya set up our house with all the tools to sell. Overhead drone photos, staging, marketing, qualifying the buyer... the works. Always communicating. That part is a very big deal to me. Not just a listing agreement. Yes you pay a commision, The real estate agents of her caliber dont work for free. She was worth every dime of what we paid her after the recent sale. Tanya is top shelf all the way. You want to sell or buy a home all on your own, go ahead. Its not like buying or selling your car on craigslist. More complex than ever now days. You have to be good.
