I really wanted to love my purchase and experience with this business but the one star is only for the matching rocks that I needed to complete my landscape. This visit took a turn for the worst. I definitely learned some fast lessons at this rock business alone and for being family owned, wow, make things right for your customers! So many reviews in regards to the "eyeballing" and I was no different on this bull. I cannot believe not one person assisted me with loading. Instead me and my 3 kids were doing all the work in the heat and then the female on site had the nerve to tell me that I will need to put every rock back that I removed out of the main big white bags! I mentioned to her before I even started if someone could get one of those huge bags the rocks were in and dump them so I can see them better and she told me well who is going to pick that all up? Wait?! What? You have several areas with different rocks, boulders etc in massive piles? Please explain how a fork lift etc doesn't offer this and you can't assist a customer with this vs. you feeling the public should do this work?! These thoughts were all too little and too late. I got ripped off, period. I would not recommend this rock place. The other thing that was bogus was her following me around and acting like I was gonna drive off and pursuing to tell me I need to pay. I told her I am just as soon as get this stuff situated in my car. I also have kids, hello! She repeated it and I was like seriously?! Lady I just loaded that mess all by myself quit tripping. Also when I called after leaving to voice concerns the racist slur was not only inexcusable but obviously know where professional to speak to me like that or anyone for that matter. No thanks! It happens and it's the whole point to warn those needing to know of all experiences. First time wasn't the issue it was the second trip. Rude is unacceptable period. Family business should validate an integrity more so because you aren't teaching family anything but how to not help customers and make things right. Even meeting half way. No ma'am, don't try to lie saying I didn't want to pay for anything. Chase reversed the whole transaction. The amount for a few more rocks was not accurate. $90.00 difference. You'll be handled for this mess anyhow, but I am going to continue to let others know what happens with personal experience. Yalls job is simplified with machinery don't continue to act as if it's so stressful to divide that big bag up. Y'all do it in general so what's the big deal? Plenty of people have shared that the experience was of a rude demeanor and even someone talking about a car being hit. Just accept that you should change some business decisions but hey, more power to those who want to go through with business with y'all, it's just a HECK NO for me and I would never recommend y'all. The Classic Rock website explains what they offer, pricing, and policies so there should be no surprises once you are there. Alyissa is very helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful. We had some over-sized boulders for traffic control delivered in March 2022 and everything went smooth. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my rock and stone needs. The variety is tremendous and the Mock family is so helpful.
