Our house was built in the 1970s and a previous shower rebuild project left some strange things behind, but he completely repaired everything from the bones of the walls to the shower pan and drain, then installed the wall boards and tile. He had to rebuild the ceiling, install a new light and installed an exhaust fan we desperately needed. He also redid the trim and wainscoting around our toilet area and retiled the floor to match the amazing tile job he did in the shower. My dad was a custom tile layer for decades, and I can tell you: Ken has an amazing eye for detail. He doesn't cut any corners and is meticulous in his work. The shower area he worked on looks so opulent, I keep going in there to admire it. Not only did he do a fantastic job, but his price was super competitive compared to other local companies. He also did great with our animals! I would call Ken back for future jobs, and give him my highest recommendation. It's hard to find guys like him these days!

When we initially contacted the company to address the installation issues, we were charged additional labor costs to correct problems that should never have occurred. When the company eventually returned to perform repairs, the original hardwood flooring beneath the luxury vinyl flooring was significantly damaged. Based on our independent assessment, a moisture barrier should never have been installed over the existing hardwood floors in the manner it was. When we raised these concerns, the company attributed the problem to moisture in the concrete slab; however, the damage and issues were isolated to specific areas, which raises serious questions about that explanation. Throughout the process, the company failed to stand behind its workmanship and product. Rather than taking responsibility and working toward a reasonable resolution, the experience became increasingly difficult and adversarial. As a result, we have been forced to pursue legal remedies to protect our interests. We made the mistake of assuming we were hiring a professional flooring company that would stand behind its work. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider alternative flooring providers before making a decision.

Dallas Bath and Glass are fantastic…read more 2 years ago, in early 2023, a cleaning service broke one of the glass doors on our shower. We called Dallas Bath and Glass out and they gave us an estimate. The estimator was extremely thorough, and I was impressed with his knowledge and methods compared to competitors. Although their prices were fair (we had 3 estimates done), we had to wait because a short time later a storm did major damage to our roof. Although I decided they were the right company for the job, we had to put our resources to bear on the storm damage; fights with insurance delayed everything. Fast forward to 2025, and even though time had passed my initial impressions brought me back to calling Dallas Bath and Glass out again. The estimator came back out in mid-April and re-did all of the measurements - the original estimate was very similar to the new one and I didn't think there was some crazy gouging of the price or unjustified increases (I did my homework). The price was actually nearly the same. The problem is the door is not standard. It requires some custom work to be done; there is no off the shelf solution. We went ahead with the work. The new glass was built and installed in early June. I could not be happier with the way it came out. The installers were courteous, clean, and provided excellent workmanship. I also want to say that the entire time, communication was fantastic. I was kept informed about timing, and the day of, they were prompt and showed up when they said they would.
