First time here @ classic rock coffee Had the Chai Tea Latte First sip was really good Great flavor But a little pricey, but worth it

Love love the chai latte. They made them almost like as I had it in India.

Omg, I love the chai tea here. It was so delicious. I will come back & try others item on the menus. But so far, I love the chai tea & the ladies working here. They're so nice making my visit here so warmth. Oh the decors are so mice. Love the seating sofa.

Best way to get work done. #coffeerocks

Well I was hoping to find a good Coffee House in town and was starting to have my doubts, came across this joint on Yelp and decided to check it out. I hadn't even ordered a Coffee and looked at my brother and said, "This place Rocks!" Pun intended. :) well after taking in the decor of the joint I began to look over the menu. The names will make you laugh, the drinks will bring you back. I ordered the Cortado, not just because I'm Cuban and it was Cafecito time but I would be able to truly judge if this was a legit coffeehouse or just a wickedly cool decorated place. Well the Cortado was amazing and so was the Dirty White Boy latte that I ordered. Staff was delightful and had us laughing. We will definitely be stopping here to have more coffee and do some work since they offer wifi. If you are passing through on 94 make the detour and stop in. You won't be disappointed.

Cool place!! But barista are in desperate need of a double shot of espresso. Way to layback for a place the serve coffee. Mocha had a wired taste. They took a long time to make it and the place was not busy at all. I guess will have to try it again some other time.

Hanging out at Classic Rock enjoying the tunes and friendly atmosphere.

My fiance and I came here on a Saturday morning and the staff was so friendly and even walked our food and drinks out to us. They were very helpful in helping us decide on drinks and food. The decor is awesome even if you're not a fan of classic rock. There is music playing but not so loud that you can have a conversation. All in all, I think this is going to become a regular stop for us.

Great coffee, great staff. Love the decor. So many coffee shops in town, this should be your daily stop.

The first thing I see is this sign that is directly in front of the entrance. This alone made it worth it!!

The staff is very personable, the aesthetic is right up my alley and the coffee. Fantastic. Will definitely be back for more

It's happened time and time again - the most recent being just last month, when on the road finishing out visiting all 50 US States. ND was my 50th. Anyway, while in Bismarck, stopped off at Landers and had a great experience. It was a simple lunch - An Italian sub and a cup of soup. Tossed in chips and a salad too. Getting ahead of myself. It's in the building of a gas station. One side is the convenience store the other is Landers. Counter where your food is made to order and seating. It's not table service - walk up to the counter, order and find a seat. Your food will be brought to you. When you're done, head to register to pay the bill. It's not easy to capture how tasty my meal was with words. But as I've said a countless number of times, if our tastes align, you'll love this place. Everything from the bun, to the soup and chips. I devoured it all leaving the salad for my friend. I especially enjoyed how the sub's ingredients were evenly loaded. Had a taste of it all in every bite. Unlike other experiences where it's all lettuce or the sauce is overpowering. The chips weren't too greasy or salty and the soup was just tied everything together. Obviously I'm not a regular but I know if I lived in the area, I would be and then some. Definitely the duke. If you're in the area, it's definitely a must.

Also the hours are 10am-3pm, which are much shorter than the gas station hours (I only know because I came back the next day lol). The deli has everything made to order so it's as fresh as it gets! I ordered a half sammy and soup combo ($13.99) w/ fountain drink, as well as a salad entree because I couldn't decide what to order. They brought the food to me at the table and quickly realized that it was way too much food. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it all. The sandwich bread had a nice chew to it and the ratio of all the ingredients were well balanced. As for the soup it was flavorful, not too salty, and just made me feel all warm inside. I really liked the micro greens in the salad as well as the slices of fresh avocado. While it's located inside a gas station, it really acts like an independent deli shop that has a good steady flow of customers. I wish we had a shop like this back home because I would definitely be a regular!

The workers were helpful and happy to recommend what to drink/eat, and they seemed to be enjoying their jobs. I ordered the reishi cacao , which is basically a hot chocolate for adults, with adaptogenic mushrooms instead of marshmallows (I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary after drinking it). It was lovely! My parents enjoyed their latte and drip coffee. The prices are great, especially when I don't have to spend $8 on a latte. The only thing I did not appreciate was they didn't post what the prices were in the pastry case (the labels only had what it was, not the price too). All in all, a great experience and a great variety to choose from. I'd like to go back to try their breakfast sandwiches. From here I took home bag of lightly roasted Ethiopian beans and made delicious pourovers for a month. I've had many pourovers at this point but these made some of the most memorable cups. During my visit I picked up a medium cold brew (excellent!) and avocado toast (avocado, tomato, sprouts, hemp seeds, chia seeds on multigrain bread, $6.00). The toast was splendid. I found no browning of the avocado and the tomatoes were fresh. I do think the bread could have been toasted longer. The service was a little awkward. I waited at the counter for a solid three minutes before I finally waved down a couple baristas chatting away. This is fine, I'm a pretty patient person and I will always support building healthy relationships with coworkers. The awkward part was the blank, unresponsive stare I received from one of the girls. Like I was breaking something up. I'll be using the drive-thru if I ever find myself here again.

According to the restaurant, they have been open for 50 years. I googled the best lunch at in Bismarck and this restaurant topped the list. We asked some people in line what their favorite sandwich was. I went with the grinder on sourdough and I was not disappointed. This sandwich was delicious the deli meats, the sauces, the bread, all super fresh . It looks like they rotate their soups and if the wild rice soup would've been available I totally would've ordered that because that is not something I can get anywhere outside of North Dakota. The staff are friendly, and the line moves pretty quick. The food comes out relatively fast. I loved my sandwich from here and I wish it was closer because I would probably get sandwiches all the time. We were the table that was cracking up in the back and stayed there until you closed. Laughing Sun -- I guess the joke's on me…read more Went to celebrate Father's Day 2025 at Laughing Sun for some BBQ and a beer. I've been looking for good BBQ in Bismarck, and Laughing Sun has been recommended to me quite a bit. The place itself is really cool -- I love the big, open blues venue atmosphere. Axe throwing is a fun touch, and I appreciate that it's sectioned off so it doesn't distract if you're not into it. The line to order moved quickly, and ordering was smooth with friendly service. I got the 3-meat BBQ plate with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. For sides, I chose mac and cheese, beans, and kettle chips. My wife ordered a half order of the BBQ nachos and a root beer. I had the Space Probe Blue, a sour -- which I really enjoyed. The ribs were great: served slightly above room temp, tender, and well-seasoned. I'm not a fan of competition-style ribs where you're expected to leave a bite mark, and thankfully these were more tender than that. Not quite "fall-off-the-bone," but a really nice middle ground. The pulled pork was solid -- moist, well-seasoned, and with noticeable smoke flavor. The brisket looked promising with a nice bark and smoke ring. But that's where the positives ended. It was the driest brisket I've ever had -- barely edible. Truly terrible. It looked old, and I'd be shocked if it hadn't been sliced the day before. I was genuinely disappointed. Brisket and burnt ends are my jam, and I just couldn't vibe with it. The "award-winning" mac and cheese was served at room temp and was mid at best. The beans were also served room temp and are supposed to include brisket -- fortunately, mine did not. I'd give the beans a 5/10. The kettle chips, though, were excellent -- crispy, well-seasoned, and easily the best side of the bunch. The BBQ nachos didn't go over well with my wife. Her main issues: the pulled pork was wet and spongy, the pico de gallo was overly watery and made everything soggy, and the use of melted cheese instead of nacho cheese didn't work. In summary: If you're after a great local beer and a fun atmosphere, this could be your spot. But if you're looking for killer BBQ executed with care, maybe do what I'm going to do -- and keep looking.
