Order at the counter and grab a table. Eat Thai was busy on a Monday night, which was a great sign for the restaurant. The papaya salad was disappointing. Chicken satay was a bit dry. The pork jerky was delicious. The classic Thai wings was very crispy. The pineapple fried rice was okay. It was overly seasoned with soy sauce. The green curry and rice was delicious. The mango sticky rice was also delicious. The restaurant was small with limited seated, but we found a table with no problem. The staff was friendly and accommodating. read more

Bismarck, consider yourself lucky to have the closest thing to authentic Thai food in these parts, and so delicious and fresh! Counter service with quick food coming to you HOT--literally! We ordered a slew of items and enjoyed it all, even our kids were happy as can be! Not much seating area, I'd probably expand on that. read more

Such a good place to get big city Thai food! Fresh, hot, and well priced. Don't miss it if you are a fan of Thai.

Who knew that the best Thai food I've had this year is in Bismarck ND? The flavors are so fresh and tasty. Walking in past the herb garden suggests the food is handcrafted and yummy. They don't use heavy hand with spice...I ordered a 3 out of 5 and in this location I could have handled a 4. Just a calibration issue. The place is tiny; order at the counter and it is delivered. 5 out of 5! read more

Cutest restaurant if you blink you miss it! Immediate and friendly service! Menu is right at the counter place your order and be seated they bring the plates HOT off the stove which I LOOOVE it's kinda like a take out with limited seating but it was just enough to be nosey with your neighbors to ask what delicious plate they are enjoying! Service is 5 out of 5 Food flavor is 5 out of 5 Parking spaces are limited we arrived at 4:50pm there was parking by 5pm the lot was full and so was the restaurant. It's kid friendly and they have WiFi. Water is in a carafe with no ice so if you want ice in your glass please make the request before sitting down. read more

I'm not a Thai food expert but I enjoyed our meal very much. My wife has visited Thailand and found the food at eat Thai cafe very close to taste as in Thailand. The peanut sauce was recommended and was perfect! Failed to mention the customer service was excellent! read more

I highly recommend Eat Thai! One bite, and you will feel as if you're back in Bangkok on a pleasant-weathered day. The service is friendly and fast, and the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Mike does a 10/10 job as manager! As far as food recommendations go, I highly recommend the Panang Curry. Be sure to also try any flavor of Foco Tropical Juices! read more

This was my first trying pad thai, and it was delicious. The wings were also great, crisped to perfection. My wife got the rosella tea - she said it had more of a hibiscus flavor than she was expecting, but she still loved it. Overall, a beautiful cafe on the corner that we'll be sure to visit again. (Just make sure to go easy on the spice - just a level 1 had my mouth tingling) read more

Great service! Fresh ingredients the food was amazing both times I went you can eat there it's nice. Spicy green curry FTW!

The food is excellent. Probably the best in Bismarck and the surrounding area. The portions are large. It's my families favoritism place to eat when we are in town. The curry is richer than most other Thia places I have eaten. Eat here and enjoy! read more

Amazing little Thai place that was so fresh and inviting from the inside to the service! So bright and welcoming with great staff that were super helpful. The Thai wings were beyond amazing with so much flavor. The pad Thai was so fresh and was one of the best pad Thai I have ever had. Huge portions especially the meat in the dish, most of the pad Thai was beef lol. Nothing but great things to say about this little place and they were super busy which speaks volumes about how good it is. Definitely stop here for a nice Thai lunch if your in Bismarck! read more

Such a wonderful spot! Sooo pleasantly surprised to have found amazing Thai food in Bismarck! Eat Thai Cafe has a variety of options from noodle dishes, stirfrys, soups, fried rice, curries and apps. Everything looks absolutely amazing! I was suggested to try the Thai basil with Tofu. It was so fresh, colorful and flavorful! Mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and basil. Defiantly returning to try out their noodles and curries. Staff was super friendly! Gave plenty of suggestions! The restaurant itself is adorable. Garden outside with tons of herbs, inside it is small but with plenty of seating, cute decor. read more

Do not miss out on this place! A hidden gem in Bismarck near the airport. Ryan was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Milky Thai Tea made from scratch is hard to find especially in North Dakota! Not to mention it is delicious and quite possibly the best I have ever had. Green curry Pork jerky Spring rolls, wings, Thai Tea Food was piping hot and took maybe 15 minutes to be served. Atmosphere is top notch and service is best in North Dakota. There are barely any vegan options in Bismarck, so we can't be too picky here. I found the food here to be ok. The flavors and spice were 100% dialed back and lacking any excitement. Even the veggie rolls were bland. But again, if I was sent to this area for business again I would come back. Maybe some of the other veg-friendly dishes are better than the Thai Fried Rice that I had. read more

Even though I didn't get to dine in and eat, food was delicious as always. The ingredients are always fresh and I appreciate them having so many vegetarian options. My ride or die choice is always pineapple fried rice, popes with crunchy tofu and cashews, it's salty yet a little bit of tart and sweet from the pineapple, to some it sounds like an intimidating dish, but it's such a comfort meal. I always love their Thai tea and papaya salad, they also let you choose the spice level of any dish and you can sub the meat with any choices or tofu. Online ordering is very easy to do and convenient. Hope to make a a stop when I get more time read more

Way too expensive and takes too long for a walk-up counter cafe. I placed an order and paid too much for a simple shrimp fried rice plate. I asked if they had combination fried rice and the cashier gleefully said "yes", we can add pork to your fried rice" and rang me up for TWO FRIED RICE PLATES that came out to $36 - for a rice plate! I chose to just get the simple shrimp fried rice on the menu. I paid and waited - and waited. I waited over 25 minutes before I decided to cancel my order and get my money back. I hate to leave reviews like this. How on earth are they getting away with being a walk-up counter casual restaurant but charging full-service restaurant prices? read more

It seemed to take a long time to make the food, but the inside was cozy. It's a little expensive, but probably one of the better places to eat if you're in Bismarck. It doesn't compare to authentic Thai, and the vegetables are odd and don't really go with Thai, so that was different (baby carrots rather than carrots, grape tomatoes, etc.) If you're in Bismarck, it's worth a shot. read more

Eat Thai is one of my favorite go to local restaurants. I've tried several items on the menu. Spring rolls and Thai Basil with pork is my go to. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend. read more

Summary: food- goodish Place - cozy and welcoming. Staff - friendly and honest. Food: Thai crispy chicken - crispy for sure not too much flavor but that's why you have the dipping sauce which was an enhanced sweet sour chicken sauce. You only need a lil dip. I think when they called it "Thai" crispy chicken the Thai must have referenced the sauce. Papaya salad- flavors 80% there. It is Thai version so I have never been a fan of the sweeter version of papaya salad. There was cashew which threw me off but I didn't hate it rather it should be raw and unseasoned. Needs a bit more fish sauce and to me the green beans over powers the flavor of the dish. Next time I will ask to have it done without it. Laab chicken- just ok. It needs more ground rice powder for sure. I felt the pieces are there but have not been put together right. The texture may have played a role. The chicken pieces ranged from finely ground to a thumb size piece of chicken. This makes it hard for a single bite to have an even flavor since that big piece will lack the flavor for the portion of that size and the finely ground chicken pieces just stocked up all the flavor and makes it runny. I had a 3 mm galangal piece which makes me happy to know they used this ingredient. I love galangal. It needs to be more chopped up. Mint leaves needs to be added. Amazingly grown on the side of the restaurant was a garden and they have mint leaves there! I ordered it as laab cashier said larb. Haha he was cool. He was like that one friend is super nice and I'd feel bad to try and correct him. Sticky rice- I'm happy they have it. I recommend they put it in the rice cooker on low once they make it to keep it warm. I don't think a lot of. Customers will order this tho considering the customers that came in. Yes I people watch. Place- it really felt like home and the waiter explained that it was originally a house that they turned into a restaurant. The decor is nice too. I love the plants running up to the ceiling! I'm a plant daddy. There is outside seating to take in the great weather on a good day. Staff - I believe I saw two Asian ladies in the back and three white dudes. One dude on the stove and other two working cashier drinks and the front. Great waiters and you can tell they like working there. They were all positive and gives great suggestion so if you have a preference or needs guidance don't be afraid to ask. The cashier seem to know almost everyone that came in. Thank you eat Thai cafe for the warm welcome! I will be back to try their more popular dishes like pad Thai and curry. read more

Some of the best pad Thai I have had! The flavor was on point, and the level 2 heat was perfect for my Norwegian taste buds. The service was the only thing that topped my meal. I just drove 1 hour and 30 minutes from Dickinson checked in to my hotel, went in to my room and got hungry for Thai food dinner. The taste is amazing with spices is just perfect. I will definitely come back to try their other recipes. read more

Order and pay at the counter. The menu has a good variety and I opted for green curry. At $15 with chicken, I thought it was a tad pricey especially given that there weren't many vegetables in the dish. I don't think I've ever had curry, especially green, without some sort of green vegetable. This dish mostly had orange and yellow peppers. There were a slice or two of red, but that's it for peppers. There were chunks of baby carrots that weren't julienned so I felt the carrots overpowered the vegetable portion of the dish. The chicken was boiled and cubed and didn't have much flavor. The curry itself was good but overall I was a little disappointed by the small amount of vegetables. Most bites were rice and chicken. For me, it would've been better to have more vegetables and much less chicken to balance out the dish visually and with texture and flavor. The ladies next to me had a hair in their spring roll and my water glass was dirty. While the place is cute I'd probably try another Thai place before returning. read more
