We noticed waster around our water heater ,A/C unit and furnace. We contacted Preusser Pluming and…read moreHeating. We thought the water was probably coming from the water heater. Preusser came out on Saturday August 31st after calling them on Friday Aug 30th. Preusser brought a new water heater with him and immediately got t work replacing the old water heater. Sunday morning we checked the basement and found even more water around the water heater ,A/C and furnace. We called Preusser immediately and left a message but got no call back. We were advised to call a A/C company. A service tech came out on Sunday and said the problem was a clogged A/C line. It wasn't hard to conclude the water heater was probably never the cause of the water in the basement. Preusser charged us quite a bit to replace a good water heater while probably never checking to make sure it was the problem, I have since checked with several techs who say the rule of thumb is to always, as a professional, check to see what the real problem may be. Preuesser refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part. Bottom line-I would advise any one needing an upstanding plumbing an heating company to stay clear of Preuesser.

In May 2024 my sub pump in my house failed and a nice guy by the name of Nick came and replaced my…read moresub pump taking only 10 to 15 minutes to do the job and I was charged $650. Now here we are in April 2026 my sub pump failed again. I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!
