Paid $120 for a gel manicure and pedicure, and within 3-4 days one nail chipped. The salon told me it would be $25 per nail to fix, even though it had only been a few days. Then four more nails chipped within a week and a half, and they still refused to help. Very poor quality and even worse customer service in the phone. I came here because I was in a hurry and this place is ALWAYS empty I frequent the Sandwich Spot next door and always notice the vacancy. I Yelp reviewed it first and the reviews weren't that good. But again, I was in a hurry and this was my only option. I didn't have time to go somewhere else and risk waiting even 10 minutes ‍ I needed to get my acrylic nails taken off. I'd been getting them done for about 5 months straight and I felt like I needed a break. The lady who did my nails was very gentle but thorough. I selected the #2 pedicur. I was in the chair for only 15 minutes. Dry skin was not removed from my feet, base coat was not used, only one coat of color and top coat was applied sloppily. When I went to leave I was not helped with sandals or out of the chair.( The basin was drained but liner and supplies were not removed.) I used to go to this salon regularly and loved it. I do appreciate that they took me in as a walk in. Last minute i broke one nail before an event and had to fix it, didn't even have time to get a fill. I walk in and they accept me (yay!), i pick out my polish that would best match the older polish i had, and asked to confirm if they had chrome powder, they said yes. she last minute switches the polish i chose without saying anything, to which i made a comment that the color she replaced mine with was too light. she didnt care. she then used a sparkly powder, not chrome, and felt that it matched well enough. i tried to convince her to change it to another color i saw, one that was darker and matched my color better, and she refused saying it would be too dark. she thought this looked good enough to walk out with. now i'm at home frantically painting over that bubble gum pink color with sally hansen instadry because anything would look better than that pink. read more

Classic Nails is by far the worst nail experience ever! The customer service is non-existent and staff are rude & very unprofessional. In no way shape or form did the nail tech listen to what I wanted or did she provide the level of service to which I paid. I wanted a gel manicure (my natural nails) for New Years! My nails are medium length and I wanted a gel build up-she was unaware of the term. So, I stated I want them to be as natural as possible-but I need them to be strong. Long story short she sanded my nails super thin, barely put 2 coats of gel & 2-3 of my nails have hair line fractures (cracks) on the side. I went back today which was 3-4 days later & the same nail tech had the audacity to yell at me, because I returned to have my nails fixed! In response, I had to be the bigger person, so I just walked out & yes my nails are still cracked! So, now I gotta pay someone else to correct their mistake. Shame on you Classic Nails!! The place is decent - its your traditional nail shop. I get my nails done here every 3-4 weeks by Nancy (and only Nancy) because she does an amazing job. Each time I get what they call the "pink & white" cost approx. $30. It is totally worth money getting the "pink & white" vs. the acrilyc, fiberglass, silk, or any other materials because they last soooooo long and they NEVER chip. The only time I go in is when they grow out (3-4 weeks vs. going back every 1-2 weeks from nails or nail polish breaking/chipping) My two favorite things - 1) they have this white (for the pink & white) that has sparkles that is soooo pretty. I have been to other nail shops & their sparkles are dingy, but what Classic Nails uses is so bright and sparkly 2) The hours - open til 7pm daily + they're open Sundays! read more

OK- this place used to be a 2, then a 3, and now a 4 star. It is one of those places that grows on you. It used to be a 2 star because the original woman who did my nails was always making faces when I did not upgrade and get more expensive nail crap. One of the women was always shouting on the phone. However I switched to a 2nd manicurist who was great- but she quickly left after a few tries. Another woman joined named "NANCY" and she is FABULOUS. She never argues or tries to jack up your price, which I love. Its hard enough paying for fake nails without being up-sold the entire time! "Nancy" rocks because she is gentle and never hurts my cuticles, never yells to others in front of me, and does the most kick-butt free form designs on my nails. I highly recommend her! Now its a 4 star all the way. I cannot recommend everyone who works there, as I have not tried them, but I do agree with some of the reviews regarding the initial unfriendliness of the salon. I had my gel overlay nails removed, and rather than soak and remove them, the manicurist just cut my nails down to the quick and ripped off the overlay with an acrylic nail, ruining my nails. I got a manicure to try and salvage my nails which looked awful, and holy cow - worst manicure of my life. There is paint all over my cuticles, they are dry (no lotion) and I got cut! I have been here at least four times now because the location is convenient. I will not be back again. My nail tech Judy rushes me to pick my color and speaks aggressively. Once she begins my nails she asks the same questions every time...is it you day off? I don't work. Does she work with you? No, she's my wife. She had a huge attitude this time and I don't need that when I'm paying for a gel manicure. After my nails are done, she puts a tiny amount of oil on my hands and squeezes a nearly empty sample size lotion pack on my hands and BARELY massages my hands and arms before wiping them off with a DRY towel. It appears they use the same utensils each time, not from a sterile pack. We did not tip her today because she's had more than the benefit of the doubt and I'm DONE with this place. I wouldn't waste my time or money if you're looking for good, thorough, or friendly service without the constant side comments. read more

Went here to get my nails dipped. It was BAD! The process was very messy and unsanitary and then the the toppolish peeled off the next day. In my experience, when getting dip powder you do not get the UV light or a gel coat. This salon did it way different and not in a better way. To top it off after the last cut my cuticles, while my nails were drying, she began to use the same tool to cut her own cuticles. the pictures below are after going back to have them fix it and them starting to again peel and look horrible the ent day. read more

A friend recommended this place and specific nail tech that she said would take good care of me. I made an appointment and arrived 10 early for the appointment time. They made me wait 20 minutes AFTER my appointment time to begin my pedicure service. Immediately noticed that tools weren't not properly sanitized between clients. Dirty towels that were used to wipe the questionable tools are use were used to dry clean feet. The hose/nozzle of the foot spa remained in the water the entire time across all stations, meaning it collects bacteria and spreads it. They used an e file drill on some guys calluses and then on someone else's toe nail without cleaning or switching the drill bit !! I am giving 2 stars simply because the outcome of the pedicure visually looks great and the lady who did it was nice, but I was seriously disturbed by the lack sanitation practices. Just hoping that my feet are okay. I'll be monitoring them for the next few days for any signs of infection. This place should be reported and shut down. read more

In addition to writing my appointment in the book, they wrote her number on a card and told me to call Helen. I called Helen, left a message to confirm and when I arrived yesterday, Helen was not there. After about 15 minutes, they tried calling her and she never answered. They asked me to wait. WTF??!!! I told them I didn't have time and left. Summarized, I will never patronize this shop again - not for the manicure nor for eyelashes. I had my eyelash extensions redone here and she did an AMAZING job. I'm so happy with the way it turned out and the price of a new set of lashes made it even better and it looks SO NATURAL. Cons: room is really small and if you're over 6ft you might have issues fitting on their table. Also, their room is right next to the washing machine so once it gets spinning you get a free rumble massage (i guess that can be a relaxing PRO too). If you use debit cards there's a $1 charge too. I've been here a couple times and never had a particularly good experience but last week was the worst. I got a mani and pedi and BOTH technicians were on the phone the ENTIRE time. They are still doing OKAY work and I was super pumped to see they have newer and nicer pedicure chairs- I personally think the massage chairs add a lot to the overall pedi experience. They are still very clean and seem to never have you wait for longer than a couple of minutes. The only negatives I would have to throw in are the usual nail salon screaming/talking/cackling etc. in another language along with taking personal calls on cell phones during my manicure.
