I went to visit Sacramento for an anime convention. Me and my friend Danica did a walk in before the CON and they took us both right away! Such a beautiful salon with the sweetest staff. Soooo affordable! I got almond gel full set with black cat eye paint. Sooo cute oh and my boyfriends initials on the nails He was spoiling me so had to show my love. My friend got a gel build up with black stars. So adorable ao well done. We both love love loved our nails. I was offered drinks as soon as I sat down and for the two of us with tip was only 130$ ive paid more just for myself at other salons. You gotta stop by and try them out. Pictures is a week out from getting them done. Look! Brand new looking ! No chips! No peeling! No damage to nails! Next time I visit Sacramento I gotta try a pedicure! read more

First off the inside of the nails shop is beautiful. They have wine and mimosa's offerings. Outside of the looks of the establishment the staff was so nice and mind. I had about 5 color changes and they were really patient with me. I got a gel mani and pedi and it was also beautiful. read more

It's been months since I've gotten a little self care pedicure and I decided to try this place. It was such an amazing experience! I had Henry as my technician and he was so kind and did such a thorough and wonderful job. I got the package with the massage and let me tell you!! I descended into heaven. It is so clean here and the atmosphere is great. I felt like a little girl again getting her nails done. read more

First and last time here. Staff were nice enough and I was a walk in. I played it safe and got a gel manicure with chrome. It was going well until my color was applied and the tech filed the sides. After he filed them, he used a brush that was colored to remove the dust. It left a color residue on my nails which he didn't catch. He moved on to the chrome application but I stopped him and pointed it out. He tried to say it was just the color but I pointed out it was fibers from his brush. He did have to remove the gel polish and reapply it and I thanked him for fixing it. But he applied the new round so thick as if to hurry through it. He did the chrome but did not clean up what he left on my skin. He said it will just come off when I wash my hands. Then he applied the top coat and did not file off the excess. read more

I will say Tina is wonderful. Pedicure could have been better, but I did pay for the basic gel pedicure for $50. My one complaint is that one of the workers there was not pleasant. When I first walked in, she was sitting on one of the massage chairs on her phone. Didn't bother getting up and just asked what I wanted. Very unprofessional. First time there, so I did not know what to do or sign in. Another girl came and helped instead. I didn't get her name, but I am sure if she reads this comment, she will know who she is. read more

Quality of work was ok. Transparency of price. I went in for a pedi & mani, the lady persisted on nails, I said no gel. I assumed I was going to receive a mani, with acrylic polish, I received a full set of nails with gel polish. No manicure, nothing but nails. $95 just for that not including the pedi. Altogether $133. I will never recommend this place. I repeatedly said no gel for health reasons, they did it without remorse, they do whatever they want, charge you high prices. read more

Inexperienced Nail Techs. The new shop is beautiful. I wish the owner would pay for good techs rather than a larger salon. Guy who attempted to do my nails didn't know how to do pedicure, immediately I was swapped out with Jenny, who was phenomenal after I got mad at the guy. Kelly, the owner rushed my manicure. Nails are thick and not filed. I came home and had to file / reshape myself. Won't go back. Cheap, horrible quality! read more

So this place is nice great vibe nice people but for 70$ I should be getting one of the best pedicures ever I don't need my legs rubbed with orange peels I need my feet done right read more

It was super last minute to come in and get our couples pedicure today. I called same day to schedule an appointment was able to do so within an hour. AK nails is located in the West Sac Super Walmart shopping center/next to Chipotle. The massage chairs are decent, the nail spa itself is small which is nice. It was consistently busy; in the hour we were there as one customer finished up a new customer came in. I love how it wasn't so hectic and busy. I didn't feel rushed with my pedi, and Bin was very attentive to his work. Nothing is worse than feeling rushed by your nail tech because they have people waiting in the lobby. This is a reason I will be returning for my future pedicures. Btw, they have a nice variety of pedicure options. Peep my pictures to see the different options they offer. read more

Got toe nail fungus from this place on both feet! The female owner is loud, aggressive and verbally combative and refused to take any responsibility. I heard their last place was sub-par. I personally should have RAN myself! They need a health inspector in here! They are all about money and not the health and safety of their clients. Shame. read more

Was very badly done. The design is not what I asked for. My nails are thick. I wanted a square chart look like a regular square nails but got poorly curved square nails. They are slanted. The nails are different lengths. Just not what i wanted. Doesn't really look like the picture. I wanted my nails a certain way and they didn't do it the right way. Costs 60$ and says I already have 20% off. read more

Found this place recently and will be going here from now on. First time I came in for an acrylic fill and made an appointment the night before for the next morning. I wanted red glitter nails and got exactly what I wanted, down to the shape, color and everything. I didn't catch the name of the guy who did my nails but he's great. Such attention to detail and great service. In fact, I came in 2 days later to get a pedicure to match my manicure and the same guy did my pedi, and I'm so satisfied with the results. read more

I really wanted to like this place but i should have left as soon as i knew the person i got did not do nails. I thought trust the process but The way he threw on the acrylic and how thick and uneven it was i was mortified. The owner i believe had to come over and help shape them. Bad business, just cause i said i wanted something plain and natural does not mean to use me as a guinea pig. He was a nice gentleman though. They also advertised 10% off and never gave it to me. Unfortunately i will not be back. read more

Don't get me wrong, I've come here many times and left satisfied, today my pedicure was even excellent! However, I am very disappointed that I asked for acrylic, almond shaped nails for my hands and left bleeding with the shortest fingernails I've ever had in my life. It honestly seemed like a language barrier that caused the misunderstanding about what I wanted. The cuticle cutting process left my middle finger bleeding and the girl just laughed it off and sent me on my way with actual blood dripping down my hand. I'm so disappointed! Been waiting months for nails that I'll still have to go to a different shop to get once I'm paid again (because this shitty manicure wasn't cheap and I still paid full price for something I didn't even want ). It's gonna be a "NO" from me, dawg read more

What a wonderful place to get my nails done.!!! I came here with a problem, I had gone to another shop and they really messed my nails up.!!! I'm a diabetic, and what they did to my nails made them super thin and very painful.!!! So, out of desperation, I came here a little over a month ago, she applied the Ombré with a new set of tips, and they've stayed nicely.!!! No more pain, and they look fantastic.!!! I am so very grateful.!!! read more

I have been going to Kelly for well over a year now and I have followed her to every salon she has worked at. Her work is beyond FLAWLESS and she is simply gifted at what she does. Every new set I get, I just keep looking at my nails because her work is beyond immaculate and she never disappoints. She ALWAYS keeps her appointments and will NEVER take a walk in while waiting for you, just always be sure to communicate with her whether it be text or social media. Went in today to get my nails redone just a simple French tip manicure and a flower. The quality of the work done was horrible. I wish I would have taken pictures before taking them off. $25 to have fuzzy stuff all over them. Nail polish all over my hands and when I repeatedly told the lady NOT to use gel nail polish because I'm allergic she continued to use gel on my nails.
