Had a great experience here. They accept walk-ins, but I called ahead of time for a gel manicure appointment. They were very transparent with the pricing when I showed them my inspo pic. Nancy is awesome! She can do the tortoise pattern so well, and she's quick with it! :) definitely recommend this place. read more

I treated my daughter-in-law for her nails and feet. She has gone here consistently. She told me it would not be over a hundred dollars. She gets the same thing every single time!!!!! Bad value for a good product. Well, unfortunately today her nails and feet cost $115!!!!! With no tip included. After speaking with someone discreetly in the back and them adding items like "we had to smooth the powder...$15" taking off your gel polish...but you put it on so it's another fee, smoothing base of finger nail another up charge... Solution: make an itemized list, have some level of integrity in general but with people who are loyal customers that's not professional at all and builds lack of trust. New and old customers beware of unsavory price gauging. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 AM today and arrived about ten minutes early. Upon arrival, I was told to pick a color. I already knew which color I wanted, so I sat down to wait. Nancy, who I believe is the owner, asked what service I was having done, even though she recalled talking to me yesterday. I explained that I currently have builder gel and was trying to decide whether to keep it or have it removed and return to a regular gel fill. Nancy attempted to explain different types of gel, but the conversation became confusing. Rather than examining my nails directly, she continued the discussion from the front counter, which made it difficult to determine exactly what service was being recommended. After several minutes of back-and-forth conversation, Nancy directed me to a station in the back of the salon and informed me that they were running behind schedule. At that point, it was approximately 10:10 AM. She told me to wait for another technician and asked how long I was able to stay, then returned to working with her client. I waited for approximately 20 minutes without receiving any update regarding when my appointment would begin. No one checked in with me or provided an estimated wait time. During that time, I scheduled an appointment elsewhere and ultimately left. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication. If the salon was running behind, a realistic timeline or periodic updates would have been appreciated. Since the salon opened at 9:00 AM and my appointment had been scheduled the previous day, I expected my 10:00 AM appointment to start reasonably close to the scheduled time. You opened at 9AM, and less than an hour later, you are behind? Very suspect. Unfortunately, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. No love loss, found a different nail salon where I had a fantastic experience and will keep it as my go-to nail spot! read more

I decided to get a pedi at the last minute and I called them on Friday at 3:30pm and they said they had availability for a walk in. I came in and sat down at their pedi station and from the beginning till the end I was impressed by my nail tech. She was meticulous and even when I decided I wanted a mani as well, she was able to accommodate me. I appreciated her care on my nails and the ladies at the salon were invested in my mani drying fully before letting me leave - I wanted to leave so I didn't take up a station but they were adamant that I should not mess my nails (which I did nick a little earlier when I was trying to settle u, they fixed it right away). One thing I would change would be the pressure for the massages - it's too light, but I loved my experience here. This will be my new neighborhood salon for sure, thank you Nhi, you were great! read more

Man oh man..I tried this place twice. Once for a fill that was subpar and yesterday for a pedicure. I wanted a full set as well but in the 30 mins I was there I watched two women visibly upset about the service and getting cut multiple times. One girl was so upset she cried. The other one was there for her bday and literally kept saying she just wanted to pay and go because the guy refused to listen to her explain nicely that the nails were uneven and he kept arguing with her. Needless to say I left after the pedicure which was questionable. I'll post a pic, just done less than 24hrs ago read more

I've been going to Nancy since 2020, and I truly wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails. She is incredibly talented, consistent, and always pays attention to the smallest details. Not only does she deliver every single time, but she also creates such a welcoming and comfortable experience. I've referred all of my friends and family to her, and they all love her just as much as I do. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about her work and her clients, Nancy is the one. read more

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. I just moved to Sacramento and was looking for a new place to get my nails done. I came to Golden Nails & Spa after a botched manicure elsewhere. The staff assured me that they would be able to give me the best quality powder dip manicure and they sure did. One of their customers was telling me how amazing they are and that she goes here regularly. I'm very impressed with Golden Nails & Spa's efficiency and skill. My pedicure was relaxing and the gel polish looks great. They were fair and up-front with their pricing. I think I found my new go-to nail salon! read more

I got my nails done in my home town at Angie's Pro Nails for my upcoming travel to Sacramento only to be super totally disappointed. So during my visit in Sacramento, I was able to get to Golden Nails & Spa and they took care of my nails how I expected! The vibe was clean, updated and organized! Greeted at the door upon arrival and in the chair in less than 10 mins! She took the disappointment off my nails (very painless process there) and gave me a fresh new full set! I chose my color with ease, they have a nice variety to choose from. The employees had their own stations that they rolled around, which was very convenient for space. I have Hot pink matte and gloss nails with a touch of chrome! So cute! Thank you so much Golden Nails & Spa for getting me together during my visit! read more

I thought I liked his work (he'd done my nails once prior). Not anymore. I'm on my vacation and we're going out to a nice dinner to celebrate our arrival in Paris...open toe shoes! My big toe god-awful "touch up" paint job...that he did... didn't just use the WRONG color, but didn't paint the entire toe nail, so it REALLY stands out. This is the quality of work he produces and he acts like he owns the shop. Only an owner would get away with that type of behavior. I can't imagine an employer allowing him to treat customers the way he treated me. So inappropriate. So unfortunate. Pics included. EDITED AFTER RETURN FROM VACATION DUE TO CORRECT MISSPELLING and following up on communication received from the salon owner. NOTE: The owner has reached out and seemed genuinely apologetic for my unfortunate experience. However, explaining this tech's hostile and unprofessional behavior as a "language barrier" is NOT accepting responsibility. Also, I did NOT select the color...he did. I no longer look forward to a positive resolution with this business moving forward...I'll take my "not good enough for your salon" acrylic nails elsewhere. Caio. read more

Such a great nail salon! I just moved to Sac a few months ago and have been here a handful of times for pedicures, as this place is very close to home. The staff always does such an amazing job and they never rush, making sure I like the nail length/shape/color etc. before proceeding. & They are very friendly as well! The shop is always clean, and they seem to follow safe hygiene practices, which is a must for any reputable nail salon. I've seen other shops that deffffff looked like a fungal infection waiting to happen, but not here! I highly recommend this nail salon if you're local to the area. read more

Everyone is very polite and the energy is good. However this is my second time coming here and notice my manicure did not last even though I got gel. If you want acrylic toes or wanna take your little one for a meni pedi date this place is NOT for you. I called in advance and set a appointment for 2 when we got there(on time) they had us wait 15 minutes after finally sitting us they still had us wait on the chairs without setting up so we can dip our feet. After 5 more minutes they finally set my water up and started on my pedi while my daughter who was so excited for her pedi just sat and watched me for over 45 minutes. If I knew we had to wait over a hour what's the point of calling in and making appointments I would've just went somewhere else my pedi came out so ugly and thick I kept telling the lady to fix it but I don't know if she didn't understand mind you I already mentioned that I didn't like how the last lady did my nails last time I came in and for them to give me someone that can do acrylic & they still messed it up. & to make everything worse I called in for 2 menis and 2 pedis they literally did our feet and checked us out I didn't say anything cause I feel like they would've messed up my manicure as well. Definitely my last time coming here I'll definitely be looking for a more kid friendly nail shop that can actually do nails my toe is so thick you can just tell it's fake. read more

Pretty good! Service was great, vibes were chill. The only con was that she took a little longer than I expected. The pedicure was supposed to be 45 minutes? But I was in there for an hour and a half I came during my lunch break which wasn't the greatest idea looking back. But Next time I'll come not on my lunch break ! :) read more

I moved into Natomas a little over a year ago and have been going to this salon regularly. When I was there three weeks ago, my pedicure was done by a new girl I haven't seen before. Everything was fine until she cut my cuticle a little too deep. I was hurt but it didn't bleed. A day later my toe started to react and I ended up with infection. Highly recommend to ask all techs to open sterilized tools in front of you so you have a peace of mind. read more

I visited this salon on friday June 21st and I am writing this review on wednesday June 26th. I visited this salon and received a pedicure and a manicure. I was looking for a good salon in the area and happened upon this one. I was excited to try before going out of town. Let me first say that on June 22nd I reached out to the shop via phone to rectify the issue I will address later in this review. They were kind and apologetic and offered to fix the issue the next day (June 23rd). That is a sunday and I was due to leave town by noon and they do not open until 10am sunday. Therefore, I didn't make it in time. I received a french pedicure with gel polish and a french manicure with gel polish. In today's time gel polish is an additional fee, $10 at this location and french is an additional $5. Tina did my pedicure and to be honest the 3 stars I did give in this review is because of her exceptional work. It is becasue of her work that I am still actually considering coming back to this location for my big vacation at the end of the summer. She did THAT good of a job on my feet. The french is beautiful and my feet were scrubbed until soft and she took her time. Thank you Tina! Larry did my manicure. From the start I felt the process was a bit rushed in comparison to tina's work but I also understood that I paid for a basic manicure, but a manicure nonetheless. All I would like to state about my manicure is that I paid $10 additional for my polish to last longer and the next day my polish was lifting on 6 nails. I called and informed them and as I stated before they offered to repair. I'm very displeased with my money wasted. I'm writing this review hoping they will see it, remember me calling, and work something out for me when I get back in town to resolve the bad service rendered. I am on vacation with a bad nail job that I paid $35 for. read more
