I never have the time or energy to do anything extra on my desktop once I get home from a hard…read moreday's work. But, I just had to make time to recognize some of the best customer service I have EVER received from ANY store I have patronized. My husband and I purchased some luxury vinyl flooring from Floor and Decor in West Covina, CA. We really didn't know what to look for and weren't educated on what was considered a quality floor. This is where we were introduced to the Design Supervisor, Tanya Jadrich, and this was like hitting the lottery. Not only was Tanya GENUINELY nice, but she was knowledgeable, patient, honest, and funny. She took her time to make sure we understood the differences between all the vinyl; she asked us questions to ensure she was guiding us in the right direction towards our goals. My goodness, she was great! So we made our decision, bought all the flooring and supporting supplies, and had our OUTSIDE contractor pick up all the materials. The contractor started installing our flooring, and we immediately noticed they weren't prepping the floor at all. We called attention to this before the 3rd plank was installed. We were basically told to shut up and let the professional do their job. Well, after the bottom part of our home was completed, the floor was squeaking, cracking, and lifting in certain areas. We were told to give the floor two weeks to settle. Well, 5 months later, we are still fighting this contractor to redo our floor. It is a hot mess. Now, back to Tanya. We reached out to Tanya, and she has gone above and beyond to assist and guide us to a resolution with this company. We understand she has no obligation to do as much as she has done, but she believes in good customer service and doesn't stop providing it EVER! Thank you, Tanya, so very much. Your customer for life!

It packs a lot of…read moreunique, homemade, and/or vintage items into a seemingly small space and even has room for a workshop area where they hold classes and events. Staff are helpful and welcoming and prices are pretty decent for the quality. I came during the holiday season and the vibes were festive and fun! I walked away with some cute and unique vintage Christmas decorations that my cats won't be able to destroy lol - as well as some soup starters that have all been absolutely delicious so far! They've been so good, in fact, that I scoured the web and found the company online so I can order from them again in the future (it's Anderson House Frontier Soups - they use minimal all natural ingredients and have a wide variety of flavors - fantastic soups!). I also snagged a dip mix and they had locally made honeys, jams, candies, and even fresh gourmet coffee beans and an antique grinder. And if you love to decorate with any rooster or chicken themed items, Shabbyology is your jam! If my kitchen wasn't already packed full of rooster-themed decor, I would've walked away with so much more. They also host occasional themed "sip and shop" nights where they offer entertainment and various drinks and nibbles while you browse. They have a digital newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and classes so be sure to sign up! Their location is a tad strange for the genre of store - they're found in a large industrial complex and their shop blends in among all the beige, nondescript buildings. If it wasn't for Google Maps I would've driven right past. But there's plenty of free parking. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely stop by again!

The staff are always welcoming and always smile when they see my dogs! Their stuff is well organized and kept. Good selection of things as well. I like to look at their home decor section, pet section, and sometimes adult clothing on the TJMaxx side. Compared to other locations, I find that this one has the best selection of things and I almost always find a hidden treasure. There can be a line during weekends especially near the holidays but nothing too crazy compared to some other locations and the cashiers are fast!

Pros for this location aside it being just minutes away from my house is its huge parking lot. Cons is their broken shopping carts. Not sure why but if you take the shopping cart outside, the wheels freezes up where you would need to lift up the cart to move it out of the middle of the parking lot. This happens every time and not just to me, but also those around me with shopping carts. It's extremely frustrating when you have bigger items in your cart and need to carry it to your car. Like most HomeGoods stores, it is directly connected to a TJ Maxx where you can find apparel and accessories for the whole family. I don't shop there so I just usually get what I need at HomeGoods and head straight to checkout. Overall, HomeGoods in general is one of my favorite retail store, because I love shopping for home decor and kitchen things. My favorite location is probably the store in Pasadena or Walnut. My obsession? Their $0.99 reusable bags - I literally have hundreds of them, because they seem to come out with different designs every week. My trunk is full of their bags but I still go in without them so I could buy new ones to add to my collection.
