Don't let the location and outward appearance of this place dissuade you. Hands down the best body shop experience I've ever had. Adam and Andy were super polite and accommodating. Just excellent customer service. Andy gave me calls to update me on status. My Lexus came back looking better than it did before. They washed and detailed the interior so it was like brand spanking new car. My car was in only for bodywork after an accident so I can't speak for mechanical repair, but really impressed with their work on my car. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

If it were up to me, I would have all other auto repair shops shut down and make Meyerland Collision the only option for getting one's car repaired after an auto accident, primarily for the only reasons that really matter: (1) Above all else, their CUSTOMER service is TREMENDOUS, spearheaded by none other than the shop's owner Adam Abutair. In my most recent interaction with Adam, I quote him saying "I know how stressful auto accidents can be, and I just know that if it were me, I'd be furious if anyone from the auto shop did not treat my situation and me as a customer with the utmost care and respect." There is NO pretense in his commitment to quality customer service...you can sense the authenticity and integrity behind his work the moment you step into his office and interact with him, and all his staff reflect that same level of excellence. He will make sure that WHATEVER fears/anxieties/reservations one may have in regards to cost, time, quality of service, etc. will be eradicated immediately. (2) The actual QUALITY of service. Once you trust them with your vehicle, you become family. You inherit lifetime warranty for any future issues your car may have right off the bat! And in the two times I've visited since my original accident (once for a paint job and once for some internal rattling noises), they've done nothing less than restore the car to its original beauty when I first purchased it in 2011, cleaned and vacuumed the ENTIRE interior, and even gave it a car wash...ALL AT NO COST TO ME BECAUSE OF THE WARRANTY! Elephant insurance recommended this body shop for my cars repairs after a hit and run , the staff is nice and friendly and nice waiting area. The GM Adam will always make sure to introduce himself or offer you a beverage brought it in Friday Joshua shop manager very professional took a glance told me to drop it off Monday. Day of drop enterprise was shuttled to pick me up my car took two weeks Joshua called every 2 to 3 days with an update keeping me informed of the progress on my repairs I must say when I got my car back i wouldn't have ever known it had been in accident Definitely recommend any body work here! read more

I just had my third customer experience with Meyerland Collision and each time they somehow manage to raise the bar on the incredible service they provide! This time someone sideswiped my drivers side mirror, knocking the mirror loose from the holder and seemingly scraping the finish. I was positive I was looking at a repair of at least a couple hundred dollars for a replacement mirror and paint job but when the service advisor Rafael went out to write up the estimate, he was able to pop the mirror back into the holder and buff out the scratches in the finish. I was only there for about 10 minutes total before my car was as good as new. And the cost - zero! Thank you Rafael, Adam and the entire Meyerland Collision team, you are all awesome! read more

Do not take your car here! They were the first wrecker to come when someone hit my car, and I regret that I impulsively took my car there to get fixed. The adjuster told me my car would take 2 weeks, and this place had it there for SIX. Every week I would call and be told a different reason (it's in paint and will be ready by Friday, it's in mechanics and it will be ready by friday..etc) and every week Friday would come around, I would call to pick it up, and they would say sorry, it'll be another week. This happened three weeks in a row before I finally spoke to the manager and he admitted they "dropped the ball" and his staff lied to me about my car status. After 6 weeks in the shop, my car hadn't been through paint, mechanics or air bag yet. They told me they were working on other cars instead of looking at mine. The manager told me he promised it would finally be ready on Tuesday and that he would give me my keys personally bc he was so "ashamed" at how they did business with my car... I call Tuesday morning at 8am to speak to the manager and confirm the car will indeed be ready and the person who answered said the manager was unavailable and would call me back. At 4pm I finally get a call back to be told I COULD NOT pick up my car. Terrible service. If you want your car to be taken somewhere and collect dust, come here. If you want to take your car somewhere where you have to call them every few days to force them to work on your car and be lied to every time you call by different sales people, come here. I am extremely upset with the way they handled business, and I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want your car to be taken care of in an efficient manner. They cared more about collecting money from insurance by keeping my car there as long as possible than actually taking care of the client and the car. Don't take your car here, save yourself the headache. read more

Tried getting a quote and information for over a month and a half. I guess if you don't leave your car for two days you just don't get service. I can't leave my car. I initially received a quote for $880 for factory parts. Then was told that there was no aftermarket parts for motor mounts. Which is utterly stupid. So not only was there the run around but there was no rush to get my business. Then when someone accepted my call to get a quote with aftermarket parts, I got a call back for $960 for aftermarket parts. Somehow factory parts is cheaper! Took it to another place and they gave me a quote that was $350 cheaper in 4 hours. You've lost the business! read more

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They don't care about or have respect for customers. They had my car for 14 dayts for minor repairs to front fender and headlights. At 3 p.m. on the day I was going with my neighbors to pick up the car, I got a call from the manager asking how I was going to pay. I told him by check. He said we don't accept credit cards or checks...only cashiers checks. I had cash in the bank but not enough to pay for the repairs. I needed time to withdraw the money from my IRA. I reported this to Meyerland Collision. Their response was they would take my checkl and divide the remaining balance with use of two credit cards. When I appeared the next day, they wouldn't take my check and told me to go to Chase to get cash which I did. After payment of my bill, I went to my car and it wouldnt start and was very dirty. It turned out to have a dead battery. It would seem that they should have checked and had the car running and have cleaned it up a bit. read more

I was in town from Austin and needed some body work done quickly. I took my car to Meyerland Collision at the recommendation of a relative. Adam was courteous, polite and worked within my budget. He was honest about repairs under the car that were unnecessary, which I opted not to have done. He was able to turn around my car in two days, as promised. It was ready a few hours after the time he quoted me, but I did not mind (cold weather does not help drying paint). I was VERY impressed with the work. Active Duty Military and this is how you take care of them. If you value your time DO NOT COME HERE! Vehicle came to this location in April. Months go by insurance figuring out who was to blame. Understandable, finally they work on the vehicle in July and I come to pick up the completed vehicle in October and the damn thing dies before I'm able to even pull out of the lot. No gas in the engine, battery extremely low that you can't even jump the truck. It's passed 8 PM at this point and I'm there with one sales rep and all there employees decide it's time to go and drive passed us seeing that we are stranded. Beyond upset, I'm there the next morning to speak to the owner Adam. Assuring conversation, discounts and free oil changes, sure, new battery installed gas in the tank. I pull off to hear a clinking sound and bolts loose under the hood. I take it back the final time and displayed one of my seat buckles was broken in the back seat (that they caused) and here's the icing on the cake. I was told the following week they would have all the parts to fix my vehicle.. one month goes by and vehicle gets repossessed from my home today at 2:00 AM!!!!! What!!??!? This establishment does NOT care about their veterans or military folks so do NOT waste your hard earned money here. No structure and none of their employees are being held accountable. Because of the positive reviews posted, I went to Meyerland Collision and Towing after my car was rear ended. As a female, I didn't know where to go or who I could trust with my car. However, I am happy to say the reviews were not all hype, but were on point. The business office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The body work was amazing and the paint job was excellent. They even spruced up some scratches and scrapes on my vehicle. Also equally important, the job was completed in a satisfactory amount of time, about 7 days and that included waiting for a part that was on back order. I would give this place ZERO STARS. If I could make sure no one came to this place I would. I have an Acura TSX and they have probably ruined my car. It has stalled, stopped working, died, and the A/C doesn't work since they have returned my car.There are grease marks on my upholstery and sweat stains on my leather. Oh, and also they said it shouldn't take more than 1 week for the repairs and they kept my car for ONE MONTH. On top of that I was still having issues so I had to return it to them 2 more times after that. My car is still not properly working. I would not trust them and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I plan on having my car checked by a 3rd party and then TELLING them all the stuff they messed up. I wish I could get my money back from them, but since my insurance company paid everything I unfortunately cannot. I have half a mind to sue them. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO GO HERE unless you want you money and time wasted. read more

I wish I could put a negative twenty for this company. These people are CROOKS!! I went to this place thinking I would be treated with care and all they did was abuse their power. I was still very shaken-up from the car accident and I was tricked into signing a Power of Attorney. I was told that it was an agreement for me to do business with them, then later found out it was Power of Attorney. They took longer to fix my car than I was told. Adam Abutair told me that by the time he is done fixing my car it would be worth more. I do not know how that would be possible. I work at a nearby auto dealership and recently had an accident with my brand new car. I had intended to take my vehicle to my dealership's body shop for repairs but discovered we couldn't offer a lifetime guarantee on the repairs because we weren't an approved repair facility through the insurance company. When I saw that this body shop was on south post road I thought the worse but those fears were quickly overcome. Their facility and waiting area is very clean and nice. And all the employees seem happy and are glad to be there. Mike was amazing. He kept me up to date with the repairs and was very detailed about the repair process and the damage. He also spent a lot of time explaining the invoice to me and showing me the exact areas of each repair. I'm very satisfied. read more

About a month ago my girlfriend got into a fender bender while we were on the way to target. This girl just backed right into the rear drivers side. Luckily no one got hurt, but there was a giant dent in the rear door. The girl that backed into us took full responsibility and through her insurance, State Farm, we were directed to choose one of their certified repair shops. After doing some research, I came across Meyerland Collision, here on yelp as a matter of fact, and so I gave them a call. Scheduling our appointment was easy and they were very friendly over the phone. Once we arrived we were introduced to Andy and he was incredibly personable and charming. We talked briefly about his wife's paintings, which we found very interesting, and then we got down to business. Andy was clear and concise and left us feeling we were in good hands. We just picked up her car today and it looks great. Brand spankin' new - with no dent! I had 5 star service from the moment I walked into Meyerland Collision, Until I left with my car looking like new 4 days later. I had some damage on the front bumper along with parts under the bumper, the cost and work was explained to me several times so I knew what I was paying for. Its pricey, but they do excellent work and I felt as if I was in good hands. The lobby is very nice, clean, and homey; snacks, drinks, and coffee while you wait. I was even able to rent a car from the same place, however its a different company that resides inside the building. if you decide to use the rental car service inside (American Car Rental is the name I believe), make sure to take A LOT of pictures of the rental they give you, because they may try to pin some dings on you that were there before. Now im dealing with claims and the dings were there when we did the initial walkthrough, ridiculous. Besides that, good quality customer service and Auto repair, I highly recommend Meyerland Collision because they are family owned business and have been doing this for years. read more

I feel compelled to write a counter review to balance all the negative ones here. I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey mini van. I damaged the driver side fender and bumper twice while backing out of my narrow garage. I got three quotes. Meyerland Automotive & Collision gave the most competitive price, and Adam, the owner, gave me a discount because I was paying out of pocket. In comparison, the dealer's collision shop gave me an estimate for more than double the price and said I would need to leave the car for at least 5 days. Meyerland Automotive & Collision did a beautiful job in just two days - I dropped off my car Monday at 8 a.m. and picked it up on Tuesday 4 p.m. I wish I could post a picture of the repair because the paint job is impeccable, and the fender is completely smooth. I am frankly shocked at how great this auto body shop is. It does not look like much from the street, but inside is bright, clean, and spacious. The workers are professional and polite, and they did not treat me badly for being a woman (which is so common with mechanic-type places). The shop does body work and provides rental cars, tire replacement, and other services. I am never going back to my dealer again. I want to support this neighborhood, family-run business! read more

I had a minor accident with my Toyota Corolla and Meyerland happened to be the nearest body shop. Adam (the business owner) is a great guy who is very knowledgeable about the business and took the time to explain what needed to be done. They handled insurance and completed the repair earlier than they promised. They were also kind enough to give me a ride home, and then deliver the car to my home after the repair. I received regular updates when the car was in the shop. I have been using the car for about a month and everything looks great. Also, they offer lifetime warranty on the parts they install, which is nice. I highly recommend Meyerland. **CONSUMERS BEWARE*** Please do not take your vehicle to this place. My mom had some minor cosmetic damage to her vehicle. I went to Meyerland and got a quote from Frank for the repairs. He said to give him a call 1 day prior to bringing the car in so that he could order the part for her car. I started calling him on July 2nd. I called him every business day for two weeks. He kept giving me different excuses regarding the part being ordered or lack there of. I finally gave up and took my business else where. The only reason I went back to Meyerland is because my mom had an accident last year and they did any outstanding job on her vehicle. I thought I was going to receive the same treatment and service I received last year, but apparently that wasn't the case. **Foot Note** the visit last year was an insurance claim. The visit this year was an out of pocket expense. So it seems to me insurance claims are a priority for this company. They don't want your business if you're not bringing in big insurance claims. All customer's should be a priority no matter how big or small the job is; especially a returning customer. That's how you gain referrals and build your business. read more

My experience working with Meyerland Collision has been absolutely frustrating. I had an accident on December 19th 2016. I was quoted with a completion date of January 20. I called on January 19th and spoke with Leo who was in charge of my repairs. He told me (the day before my car was scheduled to be completed) that I would have to wait a whole additional week before my car would be finished. As if he did not know up until Thursday afternoon that my car still needed a week worth of work done. But it doesn't end there. I called the next Thursday (one week later) to confirm that my car would be ready on Friday. I spoke with Sabrina who first told me that Leo had torn his ACL and that I would need to call back on Monday (3 additional days). So now his problem suddenly became mine and it seemed as if Leo was the only person at the entire shop who could repair my vehicle. Only after expressing that I was very unhappy did Sabrina take the time to actually go to the garage and get a real update on the status of my car. She then assured me that I could have my car either that Thursday night or first thing Friday morning. Staying true to pattern, I got no call for the remainder of Thursday. Friday morning, still no call. I called at 10am and spoke with Sabrina again but of course, my car was not ready. She told me she would need a few minutes to check and that she would call me right back. 4 hours later, still no call. I called back again and Sabrina placed another guy on the phone (cant remember the name) who told me that my car would be ready by 5:30. I called at 5pm and Sabrina tells me yet again that my car is not ready and that I need to wait another day. It is now January 27th and I still do not have my car. Each time I call, I get a different story about why the car is not finished and the date gets pushed back. I would not recommend this shop to ANYONE and I will NEVER bring another vehicle to them for repair. I forgot to mention that they sold me on being a "Certified Dodge/Chrystler repair shop" (I drive a Dodge Charger). That certification seems worthless to me now. read more
