Classic collision took care of my vehicle after I was hit and at first I was very very skeptical because of the reviews I had seen online and I was sent here by Geico as the claimant. But Josh Bell was the estimator on this project and he was very helpful and professional the whole time I had no issues getting in contact with him when I would call for updates. I had to pick up my vehicle. There were some minor adjustments that needed to be worked on I spoke to Josh and he was able to take care of those minor issues fairly quickly. Would not recommend to anyone. Avoid if you can. I used classic collision before after a drunk driver hit another vehicle of mine and they did great a few years ago. I went to get body work done on a new vehicle and it was a horrible experience and I feel some shady business practices were used, let me explain. I took my truck to get the estimate and a time frame, I told my estimator Jesse I would like him to email me the estimate and details so I can decide if I want to use classic collision or shop around, pay out of pocket or use my insurance. The receptionist gave him my email. A week of no contact so I reached out and repairs had already started and my vehicle was taken apart. At this point I was forced to use classic collision and not able to shop around for a better price or time frame and forced to use my insurance. Through out the first few weeks I got no updates. I would call to speak to Jesse my estimator and he would never be in the office and he would never return my calls or email me. To get updates on my vehicle I would have to drive to the shop and ask in person for updates. I finally get told after a few weeks there has basically been no progress cause a part was on order. When the part came I was given a few deadlines of when the vehicle will be done and those dead lines were pushed back every time. I called the shop the morning of one of the last deadlines and Jesse was not there but the receptionist said he would call me. The end of the day came so I went in person as usual to get an update and voice my frustration about the lack of communication from my estimator Jesse, how I felt like this could all have been avoided if I was not forced to use classic collision and allowed the chance to shop around. Josh Belle was filling in as manager since the actual manager Gregory Heaton was out of town and sent an email to the regional manager Andre Ayala voicing my frustration and concerns. Neither Gregory Heaton the manager of the shop or Andre Ayala the regional manager have reached out to me about anything and I'm assuming they seen my complaint, ignored it and thought I was just another annoying complaining customer. Jesse did apologize at this time for his lack of communication but blamed a lot of the problem on the lack of admin staffing and being short handed in the shop. My truck was brand new with no major scratches on the inside or outside (aside from the damage on the outside being repaired) and the interior was very clean when I dropped it off. I finally get my vehicle back. The repair was fine and looks good. The interior of my truck was left covered in dust and dirt. The inside of the door has a lot scuffs/scratches and green marker pen smudges. The outside of my truck on the opposite side of the repair has a pretty big scratch in it now. Jesse said they should have cleaned the vehicle but it does not appear like they did. He tried to clean some of the dust and scratches with a rag after I pointed it out but most of the did not come off. I did not expect my vehicle to be super clean and professionally detailed when I got it back but at least wipe the dust and marker stains off. One compliment I will give is that the receptionist is very nice and I think she did a good with everything. If I could post pictures on yelp I would for proof. Classic Collision repaired my truck after it was damaged from taking it to Tire Choice Auto Service Center on Curry Ford Road in Orlando. The manager at Tire Choice (Kenny Aguayo) tried to repair my headlight on my truck and in the process of doing so scratched it inside. After he denied all responsibility I reported his actions to his corporate office. After doing that and going to pickup my truck from Tire Choice, my truck had additional scratches and was deeply scratched on the front bumper just below the drivers side headlamp. Tire Choice corporate office in New York assumed all liability for the damages and scheduled me with Classic Collision for the repair work. Classic Collision did an outstanding job repairing my truck and their customer service was first rate. Classic Collision did such an amazing job repairing my truck their is no trace of the damage that was done to it by Tire Choice Auto Service Center. Classic Collision was very professional in how they handled the repair work to my vehicle and everyone at Classic Collision from the administrative staff to the service technicians who did the repair work to my truck deserve a special thanks! Although it took some time for the other drivers insurance company to approve my claim, someone at the office texted me twice a week to give me an update on the status of my repair. It was super helpful to not have to call and check in as I always knew what stage of repair my car was in. Rachel and Nikki were very helpful in this process. I am very frustrated with the whole body shop and kemper infinity insurance. I was rear ended at a red light on Jan 10th by an immigrant with no license driving a family members car. I was not at fault so had to put a claim in with their insurance which is the worse insurance experience ever! Brought my vehicle in to body shop on Jan 23rd wasn't explained anything that day I needed to get a rental because one wasn't provided I was told I should get a rental reimbursement from insurance. I called the insurance adjuster before turning my car in just to make sure I was getting a rental reimbursement she said I would get a reimbursement for when my vehicle is in the shop till it was completed as long as it's in the shop. I emailed the adjuster once again on February 7th informing I still did not have my vehicle no reply! I emailed once again on February 28th I still did not have my vehicle she replied back why it's still in the shop she called Irish mikes there was a delay in parts so all of a sudden she informs me I was not getting my full rental reimbursement because it's a body shop problem that is so ridiculous!! So I return the rental on March 2nd the bill was $1455.74 I no longer could afford the rental! My vehicle was still not ready and I did not get my vehicle till March 13th! It was returned to me with a bad battery so I had to buy a new battery for $216! Now I've been fighting with the insurance adjuster still waiting on my rental reimbursement and I just heard from them today March 17th they are only sending me a check for $ 791.76 for my rental reimbursement so now I lost an extra $663.98 for an accident that was NOT my fault and a problem with parts that was NOT my fault as well! In July, I took my car to have an estimate and my account person said she'd call when the parts arrived. September 19, I had a new account person and he said the parts had arrived and that I can bring the car for repair. I am still waiting for it to be ready. I called two weeks ago and the account person said the final part had arrived and the car should be ready the next day. Two weeks from that date, October 14, I am still waiting for the car or at least a phone call with an update. I had to go by and get something I left in the car. The office area was disgusting and the receptionist couldn't find my car or the account person. The office manager came from her office with absolutely no help in assuring me that my car was safely being repaired. THEY COULDN'T FIND MY CAR, and they were irritated at me because I had waited 30 minutes while they searched without success. I was late to an extremely important meeting because they cared nothing about my car or behaving professionally when a customer is concerned about their car. This office manager has no understanding of business management and certainly no interest in building good customer service. She must be the reason the entire business has become so bad at Irish Mike's. Our family has been using this business for 20 years, but this is the last time they will see us. I suspect the owner deleted his business' YELP account because they received so many bad reviews. It's best if you choose a shop that is better managed with people that understand the stress involved for a client with a damaged car. This office manager seems to have the roles reversed in owner/customer relationship. I (not insurance) am expected to spend $3k on car repairs, but I'm not allowed to express concern when my car is missing, am waiting 30 minutes, and I've received no information about when it will be ready. read more
