Just save yourself the stress and go to Enterprise that's 5 minutes away from this office. The service here is awful.

Unfortunately, my car was deemed un-drivable due to an accident, not my fault. The insurance…read morecompany made a reservation for me at this Hertz located inside of the service department of Greenway Ford. Honestly, the service was good. They called me early the next morning after my accident to inform me that insurance had reserved an SUV comparable to mine and that it would be ready in an hour. When we arrived there were attending to a couple and was asked to sit. Once, Chloe was done, she promptly pulled my reservation, explained the details of the reservation and although she did try to upsell me for insurance, I declined and she let it go. She handed me, the contract, walked us outside, went and picked up the rental, drove it to us and had the AC running for us to cool off the car. Nice experience.

The interaction I had here back in April was one of the worst start to finish rentals I've ever…read moreexperienced. I don't know where to even begin whether it was the terrible customer service, attempt at extorting me out of a windshield replacement or the hundreds of dollars in tolls I received due to know toll discussion at time of rental. It all started as a courtesy rental through Ford. They were going to have one of our company trucks for an extended amount of time so they offered to cover a courtesy rental through their onsite hertz location. The service manager told me to head over to hertz and let them know I was there for a courtesy vehicle. I walked over and stated to the employee "Paige" why I was there. Who in turn told me that I have to have the service department call over and authorize it....mind you the service department and hertz location are roughly 50-100 steps away inside the same building. So right away I got a taste of the incompetent service I was about to receive. Walked back over to service, stated what hertz said, to which the service manager shook his head in frustration and apologized and said come with me, we walked back over to inform "Paige" who now was shoving her face with lunch along with her partner who had just got back with their food. I was told to have a seat in the lobby and they would be with me shortly. About mid way through her cheeseburger and fries I think she got the sense of my urgency to get the car and get about my day so she walked out and said I'll get you started come on in. A brief discussion was had about if I wanted to add insurance to which I declined because it was a courtesy vehicle. She asked me for a credit card for on file and had me sign the kiosk. No further discussion was had. She said I'll go get the car and be right back. A short time later she pulls back up with an suv and hands me the keys and says have a good day and proceeds to walk into the building. As this was happening I noticed a crack in the lower left corner of the windshield. I yelled out to her about it, she came back took a look and said "oh yeah we know about it, you're fine" and walked back inside. Mind you not my first time with a rental. There was no pre inspection done with me taking pictures signing off on an iPad nothing, just here's the keys and have a good day. We don't want those last few bites of that cheeseburger to get cold now do we, also during this entire time nothing was ever discussed with tolls, do I want to pay for them, do I wanna add toll assistance, who's liable for the tolls, nothing! I'll come back to that in a few. Upon dropping the rental car off once again no vehicle inspections was done. 3 months later I get a call from a "Damon" stating they had been trying to get ahold of me via calls and emails about an outstanding balance. Mind you, no missed calls no emails. I asked "what outstanding balance?" He said owe you owe $743 dollars because we had to replace the windshield due to damage when you returned the vehicle. lol? I told him that I would not be paying shit for that repair and that I had made "Paige" aware of the damage at time of pickup. I could tell the vibe shift soon as I said it. He said oh well do you have pictures on the day you picked it up? I said nope do you? He said excuse me? I said bet you don't have them either wanna know why? He goes why? I said your employee failed to do a pre vehicle job inspection before I left the lot. He got quiet and then said so no walk around the vehicle was done and no issues or spots were pointed out. I said nope. He then said I'll have to check a few things and get back to you. Talk soon and we hung up. Welp apparently Mr. Damon went back and found what I stated to be true because a very short time later I received an email, yes email, didn't have the guts to call me back I assume, and mind wow now the email works. Stating the claim was now closed and I was not responsible for the repair. Another few months go by and I get a bill from platepass saying I owe $247 dollars in past due unpaid tolls. At first I was confused because I have a SunPass on my personal vehicles and I don't use plate pass. So I call them up to which they state these belong too...yep you guessed it, a hertz rental from April. I immediately call hertz, who state I'm liable, I ask how when it was a courtesy rental from ford and once again your fabulous French fry loving "Paige" failed to mention anything about tolls. They told me to take it up with I then call ford who basically pawn me off as well and say it's a hertz issue they should have explained it and they are the only ones who can waive the fees. Call them back hertz pawns me off to plate-pass as the only ones who can waive the fees. In the end nobody would assist and I eventually ate the $247 in tolls scammed out of me. They may have one the battle with the tolls but they lost the war with future revenue. I saw to it that the 3 fleet companies I deal with never use hertz.
