Instead of buying new rims I was recommended to get the rims buffed out and repainted. Thankfully I was told about this place in Vancouver. It doesn't take but an hour or so and they look brand new. Even one that I thought wasn't possible to look good again, looked brand new again. Definitely a master at his craft. 10 out of 10 would definitely go back and use again if I needed this sort of service. Not cheap for my pocketbook, but it was cheaper than buying new rims for sure.

I took my car here to fix bent wheels and curb rash. To be fair, they did fix the main issue and…read morethe mechanics were actually pretty nice. However, the overall experience was frustrating because of the lack of attention to detail and poor customer service. The biggest problem was that they didn't paint the center caps, so the color didn't match the wheels at all. I asked multiple times if they could paint them, and every time I was told it wasn't possible because the caps are plastic and "can't go in the oven," so the color would never match. I even asked if they could provide a small sample of the color so I could get them painted somewhere else, and the response from the front desk was basically "we don't give samples, go try another place." That was disappointing and honestly unprofessional. I ended up going to another shop (Factory Wheel Outlet), and they told me it was actually very easy to match the color. They painted my center caps perfectly in just one day, and now everything matches exactly like it should have from the beginning. So while this shop fixed the bend and curb rash, they fell short on finishing the job properly and their customer service could definitely improve. Hi, I just want to clarify that I did ask about the center caps multiple times. The first time, I was told in person that since the caps are plastic and the wheels are metal, the color would never match. The second time, I called again, and then on Tuesday--after taking my car to a tire shop--they pointed out that the center caps hadn't been painted at all and still looked like factory. When I asked again at your shop, the front desk told me: "we don't give samples, go try in Bob's Paint Land." So I'm not being dishonest--I did ask more than once. I ended up taking the caps to Factory Wheel Outlet, and they were able to match the color perfectly and complete the job in one day. The result came out great and matches exactly. I was charged $300, and I have the invoice if you'd like me to provide it.

Overall, we are very pleased with the way our project turned out, but the experience could have…read morebeen better. Jim means well, but I think he gets busy, and can't meet the lead-times he originally states. My daughter wanted the silver OEM wheels on her Chevy Cruze Premier repainted to a gloss black, so we brought them to FWO. The end result is exactly what we wanted, and it was a lot cheaper than trying to find the factory "Redline" wheels. The paint job is high quality, and it looks really nice. The areas for improvement include communication and lead-times. Initially we were given a completion date of 2 business days, and I told them they could take 3 if needed. When I called on the third day, they told me three rims were bent, and they needed to be straightened (for additional cost). I gave the go ahead, but I think they had our wheels confused with another project, because they never added on any other charges. The wheels & car ended up being ready for pick up on the sixth business day. As stated, the paint job is great, but the tires seemed haphazardly filled to random pressure levels, differing by a few PSI from corner to corner (that was an easy fix). They all hold air just fine, though; so no worries there. I would definitely recommend the work that Jim & FWO do, but just allow a little extra time for project completion.

New wheel from dealer was $750.00. Called Jim at Factory Wheel Outlet and he said bring it in we'll fix it if we can, and no charge if it doesn't work. He fit me in on a super busy holiday when 3 of his staff could not make it in due to ice storm. Wheel fixed, fair price, honest dude. Side note: took car in to Les Schwab after fix to get alignment and all wheels checked, told them about FWO and they said, "oh yeah, if Jim fixed it then it is good, he is the expert, we send all of our wheel repairs to him." nuf said.
