Very disappointed in their service, or lack thereof. Tire failed and was told they wouldn't sell us tires without a certified mechanic looking at it. Mechanic advised Les Schwab that the front end was fine and ok to put the tires on. Still refused but agreed to align. Did so and found that wheel to be the only one not needing adjustment. Still refused to sell us tires. Was told not to bother taking it to Costco (which we should have done in the first case) as they wouldn't touch a car with a damaged tire. Wrong. Costco pleasantly ordered Michelin all season tires for less than the Les Schwab tires and will replace in about 3 days. Very helpful unlike Les Schwab who told us to bring the car back for realignment after we damage it again. Demeaning. Highly recommend considering Costco for your tire needs. read more

They did $1800 worth of damage to my vehicle called and told me it wasn't their issue even though it broke at their shop Sam the manager tell me I'm no longer allowed on the premises and he has a history of doing this with other customers as well so now we'll be going to Small Claims Court to get reimbursed the manager Sam should not be in a position of management as he has no idea how to treat customers read more

So i trusted them enough to get a quote on my brakes and what it could be. Instead of tell me to go to a shop because they couldnt diagnosis they said oh its probably the rear brakes and because i trusted them i went ahead and did it-no change! Then after I call say that the car is doing the same thing they said oh must be front brakes instead but then didn't offer to even help me fix them then instead of being real they come back with oh now it must be an abs issue. I spent over 800.00 on this back brake job FOR NOTHING oh and they have to change your calipers folks that was over 300 by itself! He immediately pulled our car in, popped the tire off and submerged in their tank so we could see where the hole was located. My family and I were out of town when we got a low tire. We stopped to get some help and from the get go they were very rude and the first person we tried talking to he walked past us and straight up ignored us. The receptionist was helpful but when she tried to get us help she got yelled at by the other employees. Then after waiting for almost 10 min we decided we'd go somewhere else (there's a gas station down the road with air). One of the employees got upset when we were leaving and decided to yell at us and run after the car shortly as we left. Don't recommend getting help from this business unless you like rude employees with no idea how treat customers and who also like yelling at their customers. read more

My daughter and grandson went to the beach for his birthday and ended up with a dead battery and a couple other car issues. I previously wrote a bad review for Gary's Service Center in Cannon Beach OR. It is my pleasure to now (four weeks later) share how our tire issue was resolved. While driving on vacation, I felt a sudden shimmy in the steering wheel. I thought I had lost a wheel balancing weight. After learning Gary's Service Center couldn't balance wheels, I found this Seaside Les Schwab Tire Center through a Google search. I called, explained our issue, and told them we were traveling while on vacation. The owner said they were booked for the following day, but suggested they might be able to squeeze us in early in the morning. I arrived at 8:00am and waited only 45 minutes for an evaluation. They informed me the tires were deteriorating and needed to be replaced (original tires on a 2008 Camry with just 30,000+ miles). They had several sets of tires to fit our vehicle as well as tire pressure monitors. 75 minutes later (two hours total) we were back on the road. I can't say enough about this shop. The staff were friendly, genuine, and helped us avoid what could have been a horrendous accident. They were obviously busy, but did us a favor and quickly got us back on the road to continue our vacation. read more

We are staying at the Cannon Beach RV Resort. I had a tire go flat on our Airstream trailer. I called Les Schwab and Brian answered. He hopped in their mobile unit, drove down immediately, jacked up the trailer, took the tire and wheel off, drove it back to Seaside. We pulled in with a donut on and they fixed my tire, put the donut back in my trunk all nicely and were so kind. They were slightly worried my tire wouldn't be able to be fixed because we drove on it for longer than we should have. They were able to repair it and communicated super well. I had a nail in my tire, I was 1600 miles from home! I stopped at Costco and asked for help, I'm a member. The service guy was very rude and suggested I try back in 2 days, this was on Sunday. The next morning g I went to Les Schwab in Seaside OR. the service guy here said absolutely, 20 minutes later, I was on my way! He said my tire did need a patch, he repaired the tire and checked the air pressure all around. I tried to pay him, he said NO CHARGE. Would not take any money! Thank you! Awful. Been a Schwabe customer for 40 years but never again. The Seaside, Oregon shop advised two front tires needed replacement but that the rear two were "brand new". Advised they could match the front with two new tires, along with a new front wheel. Upon arriving a week later when the wheel came in, the store manager advised that the rear tires were worn out and incompatible with the two new front tires (despite two prior Schwab employees stating they were "brand new Schwab tires". Of course, he insisted that the two rear tires be replaced, too. The manager was aggressive and rude and implied that I was lying, aside from the fact that I had no motive to lie. Bottom line: The employees at this location are either blatantly dishonest or profoundly incompetent. Go to Costco. This Schwab store is a sad excuse for capable and professional service. read more

I was on my honeymoon on the beach. I just filled up the tires to the right pressure five days before after a prolonged vacation. I thought that was the reason for a low pressure warning on a tire. So with the low pressure warning occurring again I stopped at Les Schwab Tire Center to have all the tire checked. They got to it in a reasonable time and fixed the slowly leakage for good. Wouldn't do lowering springs on one car, were stoked not to switch tires to another set of rims next visit. Next time wouldn't balance tires because shocks were bad, said I'd have to go to dealership to have shocks done. They don't have enough staff so always looking for an excuse to refuse service.
