We were having an amazing trip then my transmission went out in my Chevy Tahoe. We called AAA to tow us to the nearest auto repair shop. Doc's had the best reviews (now I know why) so I chose them. They were closed that day so I called them the next business day to let them know my vehicle was there and my dilemma. As a single woman traveling I was nervous I was going to be taken advantage of by a shady repair man 200 miles away from home. To my pleasant surprise the shop is run by women! Cheryl the front desk person and Samantha the mechanic really took care of me. They made me understand what was happening with my vehicle and treated me more than fair. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them more stars I would because they really went above and beyond!! Thank you for your amazing customer service!

He started yelling that he was going to leave and he was there to help us. No sir you were being paid to do your job. But the guy that came to pick up my second car, Ian was FANTASTIC!! He got my car loaded by himself in about 5 mins! He was so nice & helpful. So, if you get John as your tow truck driver be ready for a jerk! I hope you get Ian!!

But my wife remained calm and sweet and came up with legitimate ideas and solutions while I totally freaked out on a number of customer service reps on the phone. Progressive insurance failed us in the worst way and the worst time. But Gary's Classic Towing, out of Astoria, are the best and the brightest of the North coast. They got us on the road and then guided us through side roads, so we could navigate to the tire shop... cuz we only had 5 wheels... on a vehicle that usually features 6 wheels. A shiny new flatbed truck, painted with an American flag motif...perhaps there was an eagle too...with its lights flashing... escorted us all the way there at 15 MPH. It was all much more affordable than I thought it was going to be, and they were willing to give me a few quotes (depending on what was wrong) when the other shops I called weren't. There were 4 people in my party, more than the AAA app allows you to report for needing a ride, but George said it wouldn't be a problem. Drivers Frank & Andy helped us, both were so friendly, patient, and professional, total life savers. Mark's Auto Service gets all the stars!…read more I've been on a road trip for three weeks now, and after a mishap with my wheel a couple weeks ago, I've been a bit paranoid and called Mark's shop to check out a new slightly burned rubber odor. His incredibly helpful daughter scheduled me for the following morning, and Mark stopped what he was doing to look at my car. Fortunately, nothing was wrong and he said it was probably the catalytic converter of either my car or a car ahead of me since we were hauling up a mountain on route 26. He even invited us to take a look under the car to see what happened after my wheel flew off a couple weeks before. His third party opinion that everything was good with the car, and echoing that the tires and rotor and all pieces were sound for the rest of my road trip was very encouraging. Plus, he and his daughter were just very kind people, and we chatted about life and family for a while afterwards. Highly recommend Mark's service! I saw Mark's Auto Service reviews and gave them a call. They immediately dropped what they were doing and performed a battery test. I was thinking out of stater, small garage I was looking at $200+. The battery test Mark assured me my battery was fine and my alternator was performing as expected. The problem he found was my FOB's battery. NO CHARGE!
