Jay, Greg and Ben have been great to deal with. Lots of inventory and what they don't have, they usually can get pretty quickly. It's on my short list of shops to stop by on my hobby outings. Thanks for supporting our hobby and way of life. read more

Wow have these guys fallen off a cliff, I met the owner a little while ago and I gotta say that's one of the most arrogant pathetic douchebags I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The guy is an absolute clown and just wreaks of a fragile ego that he desperately needs people around to cosign, the service used to be top notch, the staff used to be top notch but they can't do a thing themselves in terms of buying or selling, they aren't the issue though, just the owner. I'd never ever go here for any needs, their prices are worse, their trade/buy prices from you to them are garbage, there is absolutely nothing redeemable about the place because the owner is too busy being a clown to act like an actual person instead of a goofy caricature. Not blaming the staff here, they just have no ability to do anything but sell you stuff, they aren't really personable, are unable to answer most questions, and generally I question their overall knowledge but that could be anywhere. There's a lot of competition that would be better to customers though, this place is right up there with Guns and Ammo on summer and their rep now which is infamous amongst locals. Everyone's heard of "Guns and Assholes" This place really used to be a whole lot different years back, but man is it just not an experience i'd recommend for anyone nowadays. Avoid it. Biggest issue by far is ownership: The owner is one of the single goofiest egos I've ever encountered, absolute cringe and the best way I can describe it is the guy is a living meme, the gun store employee, owner, etc. that lets their personality fall into complete and total delusion and a grown man who is way too old to be stuck in a perpetual teenage boy mental state. The epitome of dumb gunstore employee memes, and men who's egos turn them into total goofs. Talking to the guy was painful, your IQ takes a hit just from the interaction. read more

terrible customer service, very judgy looks, like I'm trying to come into your establishment and spend money. never again. If you're not white do not go in here. read more

Needed 38 caliber ammo and a 32 caliber revolver repaired. Everyone at the store was courteous and knowledgeable. I was especially impressed with Ken and the detailed explanation he provided on the repair (parts & service) my 32 would need. read more

Further research has lead me to determine that classic arms has good sales men that sale a lot of things at an inflated price. Their mags and ammo are significantly over priced. Their guns may be comparable in price. read more

My husband and I walked in so that he could purchase a new gun. There were two employees and two sets of customers already in the store. We were not greeted or acknowledged or told someone would be with us shortly. Walked and looked at every gun in the store and still no words spoken to us. Oh, I forgot to mention that the employees were white and so were the other customers. We are black. Won't ever be back there. read more

Had 2 of my guns serviced by Trevor. Great service on one and cannot complaint of handling the shipment of the other one to the Mfg for warranty work. Bought another gun which they order for me an arrive as promised. Working with them to purchase a new rifle. read more

Is this place for real? What an awesome bunch of down home fellas! I've never been greeted by strangers more politely before in my life. Never felt pressured to buy (even though I did) and left the place more informed than when I came in. I only wish Classic was in Missouri so I could come see them more often! Thanks guys! read more

Avoid this place if you can. There are other gun places in Memphis that'll greet you when you walk in and also treat you like a human. The employees here are rude and not professional at all. read more

I have bought multiple firearms and I am always pleased. Staff is very professional and knowledgeable as well. I worked with Kyle with my most recent purchase and he was excellent! I will continue buying from them! read more

Buying my 1st gun was exciting but this dude who sold me both my of my guns had a shitty attitude. I never do this or bitch about my experience bc maybe he was having a bad day. I bought a 40cal SW 2 weeks ago but my background was flagged for some reason. Whatever, I appealed it. They called back 2 weeks later and said it was approved. So, I went back to pick it up and what do you know? It was sold to someone else! No biggie, I'm easy to please and they offered a discount on another pistol. As I'm waiting for this guy to do the paperwork I'm thinking about buying a 2nd gun while I'm there. I'm also noticing a smartass attitude from this guy... whatever, again maybe he is having a shitty day. End of the day what really chaps my ass is that I spent around 1200 bucks in this store. I bought a 12 gauge, shotgun shells, SW 40cal, 2 boxes of ammo, and extra magazines for the pistol. I get home and I'm inspecting my purchase, loading the magazines, loading the shotgun... playing with my new toys. One of the clips says SW 9mm and I'm like, this is why these 40cal bullets barely fit! It's the wrong clip for this gun! The shotgun shells... they are 20guage slugs. I have a 12guage shockwave shotty! Again, wrong ammo. Conclusion of all this is that store manager had a shitty attitude, sold me anything, and he sold my gun that I bought 2 weeks ago. I'm not the type of guy that complains much and in fact, this is my first time to complain on any website! I gave him a 3 star and that's WAY generous! I'm a business owner myself. A HVAC business owner and I would never treat people this way or sell people crap they don't need. read more

This is the best shop in town. Hands down. Good people, good product. They received in my lower instantly to save me a trip when the fedex guy showed up while I was there. If you're going anywhere else, you're wrong. read more

Good selection of guns with a knowledgeable staff. Prices seem inline with other area stores. All the firearms I saw were new and in good condition. One of the salesmen mentioned used pistols but I did not see any. Ammunition must be kept in drawers or cabinets at least I did not notice any. I would feel comfortable purchasing a firearm here but I would want to research it prior to going in. read more

Literally bought ammo from this place 3 days ago. Called yesterday to ask if they had ammo available, I was told yes. Went in today to buy some ammo. Man with cowboy hat asked what I need I said: some ammo please. He said are you buying a gun, and I said no, then he said well we cant sell ammo unless you buy a gun. I said really?!, cause I bought ammo here 3 days ago and called yesterday and never did anyone say anything about having to buy a gun to purchase ammo. He said well it just changed. I'm half Asian and basically they were racially profiling against me. We're in Memphis so yeah good luck with that. Just go somewhere else like top gun. read more

Terrible service! No one wears a mask!!!! And they insult you if you choose to be safe and wear a mask! The clerk asked me to remove my mask so he could hear me better (as if he could not hear me well enough through a cotton mask) so basically you want me to risk my life to accommodate your beliefs! Even after telling him I came from a funeral yesterday for a friend that passed due to COVID! Extremely disrespectful! Please call the health department if they harass you for not wearing a mask! 901-222-2300 read more

Chance and the guys at Classic Arms are good to go! Great shop to do business with.

A great firearms store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a gunsmith who does some good work to go along with it. This is a great place to go purchase a firearm. I've been going here for over a decade and they are just as good now as they were then. You get treated friendly, fairly and with respect. Unlike other placed in town that sell Guns & Ammo, they never talk down to you or treat you rudely. If it's your first gun or your a seasoned shopper, this is a good place go in town. read more

They have a decent selection of hand guns, rifles, and shotguns but not an abundance of choices. They also have several used firearms as well and just may have what you are looking for. I have been in a few times and they are always helpful. Also, their armorer, at least the one I talked to, knows what he is doing. They are very professional and will be glad to talk through your needs to help you decide what is best for your needs and your skill level. read more

Staff is friendly and willing to help. I've seem them keep their cool & help the most green of customers. They don't have the rude, know it all attitude. Good selection of new & used guns. They offer current, popular guns mostly, but it's not uncommon to see high end bolt guns or vintage Colts in here. Definitely worth visiting. read more
