We came to Richard's, I explained what properties I was looking for in a gun and he chose 3 of his top picks at the moment for me to look at and stated if I didn't like any of them, he would give me more options and if we ran out of options he had on hand, he would be more than happy to order more options for me. He made me feel valued and heard, which was more than I could ask for. We have used Richard's Armory for putting on a picatinny rail system on one of our rifles as well and he did a superb job. Overall, this is an excellent armory owned and ran by a very nice, respectful and knowledgeable man. I am forever grateful for my experience at Richard's years ago and will always recommend his shop.

The guy is an absolute clown and just wreaks of a fragile ego that he desperately needs people around to cosign, the service used to be top notch, the staff used to be top notch but they can't do a thing themselves in terms of buying or selling, they aren't the issue though, just the owner. I'd never ever go here for any needs, their prices are worse, their trade/buy prices from you to them are garbage, there is absolutely nothing redeemable about the place because the owner is too busy being a clown to act like an actual person instead of a goofy caricature. Not blaming the staff here, they just have no ability to do anything but sell you stuff, they aren't really personable, are unable to answer most questions, and generally I question their overall knowledge but that could be anywhere. There's a lot of competition that would be better to customers though, this place is right up there with Guns and Ammo on summer and their rep now which is infamous amongst locals. Everyone's heard of "Guns and Assholes" This place really used to be a whole lot different years back, but man is it just not an experience i'd recommend for anyone nowadays. Avoid it. Biggest issue by far is ownership: The owner is one of the single goofiest egos I've ever encountered, absolute cringe and the best way I can describe it is the guy is a living meme, the gun store employee, owner, etc. that lets their personality fall into complete and total delusion and a grown man who is way too old to be stuck in a perpetual teenage boy mental state. The epitome of dumb gunstore employee memes, and men who's egos turn them into total goofs. Talking to the guy was painful, your IQ takes a hit just from the interaction.

The gun counter people are really helpful and have good information about what's in stock and when it's coming in if they don't have it. I'm made several thousand dollars worth of purchases and I'm pretty sure I have been really happy about all of them. Actually, now that I think about it, I bought a tent from here and it was missing a pole that was critical to it's set up. That was a bummer... *Life Lesson* Be sure you set up your tent before you actually get into the woods and have to sleep in it. It has EVERYTHING from camping, hunting, bowling, college/high school sports wear, pet care supplies, weapons (from crossbows to semi-automatic rifles/handguns) that you can think of. This is not by far, a Bass Pro Shop experience, but the location in Olive Branch is centrally located across the street from Target and no Southaven traffic :) Everything was laid out and easy to find. I highly recommend checking this store out based on price and locality to Olive Branch residents. More options and variety than Wal-Mart sporting goods for sure. 5 Star hands down!
