I've been here a few times and my husband has a membership so clearly 5 stars. You walk into a clean facility with a helpful staff. They're knowledgeable and friendly. We signed our waivers and were ready to shoot in a relatively short amount of time. The lanes were clean and a staff member was always available to keep us following the rules and cleaning all the shell casings. We have come here for using the range, to pick up suppressors we ordered online and also to purchase guns, ammo and accessories and every single time we have been in here, we have had a positive experience. The salespeople know what they're doing, what they're talking about, and also never mind helping out and answering any questions you may have. Today I purchased a new firearm from them, and being a female and having a less than stellar experience numerous times in the past at other gun shops, I was a tad hesitant. However, that was not at all the case here. I came in looking for a specific gun that they did not have, however, they could've ordered in, but, I was shown other similar ones and I fell in love with one of them and ended up purchasing. Overall, it was a great experience and I was made to feel like a valued customer and not less than just because of my gender because someone would assume I don't know anything about guns. Gun prices are beyond fair and the assortment is vast and also always changing, so no matter what you're looking for, they probably have it or can order it for you at any time. I came to Range USA in October of 2024 for the first time as a gun novice and signed up to become a member. The entire team at Range USA has been incredible offering outstanding customer service and always taking the time to educate customers while answering questions with sincere empathetic spirits. I have been to other gun ranges in the area and none compare to the family feel of the staff and customers here nor do any compare to how the staff function as a well-oiled machine that exudes the team attitude in a fast paced environment. My first experience of purchasing a gun, renting guns, and completing the 8 hr. TN enhanced handgun to carry class has been very educational and equipped me to safely handle firearms and increase my skills to keep others safe in my presence. I have only been shooting for 5+ months and have incredible aim and confidence because I took my time and was taught by professionals who guided me. Range USA raises the bar for other ranges in the area without a doubt. I also love that majority of the employees are Veterans, who better to learn from! As someone who had not fired a handgun in decades, I went to Range USA with some trepidation but the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The facility is very nice. I liked the staff so much that I decided to take their Enhanced handgun permit class. The instructor (Michael Goedecke) was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and quite entertaining. I was able to visit Range USA for the first time. We checked out some of the items for sale prior to completing the electronic waivers. They had a wide range of weapons to choose from. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. We reserved two lanes for an hour. There were probably about 6 lanes total in the area where we were assigned and additional lanes on the other side. I loved the fact that there was an employee walking nonstop to ensure that the guests were practicing in a safe manner. No ammo no targets, try and have a date night with your significant other and these folks make you ring up at the register twice! You have to pay for yourself, and then your wife! All while these people ask probing personal questions that violate your civil rights to privacy. Want to shoot? They need your address, phone number, email, Drivers license number, a blood sample, fingerprints, and a photo of all of your children! No children? They need photos of your dogs/cats hamsters etc! 8 months ago I purchased a suppressor through range USA Memphis. After paying $1000 for the suppressor, $200 for the fee, and filling out my section of the form 4, all the manager had to do was sign his name and put the store's address and FFL number and submit the form through ATF eforms. This was on 16 March 2022. Today is 10 November 22 and my form 4 finally came back but it was disapproved because range USA didn't complete their section of the form 4, the just wrote "digitally signed R. USA" This is a legal document for the transfer of a national firearms controlled product and they couldn't even be bother to write their full name. I'm now out $1200 and my suppressor is sitting in the back of their store. When I went in to talk to the manager the guy behind the counter shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't even know where the forms were kept or how to get to them. I have two more suppressors pending approval and range USA won't even show me their copies of them. I've attached pictures of the disapproval and the appalling entry they submitted. If this company can't even bother filling out such an important document correctly, imagine what they are doing with the CCW applications, firearm forms, and your personal information they make you put down every time they shoot there. Wish I could give this place "0" star! This review is solely on my and family experienced. My brother in law was visiting us from over sea. He's in private security business and he's an expert on weapons. I've been wanting to learn to handle a fire weapon before purchasing one. I've waited for him to come and try this gun range place. He has used other ranges across the USA, and has all the requirements for those who are not US citizen. We even check to make sure he could use it in Memphis. Unfortunately, we were treated with disrespect and dare say racism. The guy who attended us said that the country were my friends were coming from are BAN from practicing shooting in the US. I politely asked how he knew this, he simply said he did. He wouldn't even give us more reason. Did not ask me for my DL, which is from TN. He assumed all of us were here illegally and would not help. We decided to try another range, (Top Range) and guess what?? We all were able to safely used their facilities without any problem what so ever!!! read more

Warning for holiday shoppers----I went today to purchase a Hanukkah gift for my husband. Once I asked about whether the gun would work for left handed, they immediately said I couldn't buy the gun because I was buying it for someone else. (It was going to be for home protection and I would actually use it too). The two employees said it was against federal law for me to buy a gun for someone else. That is not actually the law. I wasn't trying to buy a straw purchase. I was buying a gift for a legal gun owner, my husband, and for my OWN home protection. But they refused to listen or to even ask any questions. I then figured I should look for myself an additional gun while there. I rarely leave home and have been wanting a 22 for my purse since I currently have a heavy 38. They said they would not sell me ANY gun at their store today and I would need to leave and come back another day to act as "a reset." I said I could run to the ATM and come back and they said that wasn't good enough. I had already driven across town once to visit them and refuse to waste anymore time in the future. No thanks. There are plenty of other gun shops in town that know the actual law, have the common sense to apply it the way it was intended, and don't want to waste their customer's time. Before I had even asked about the gun, they weren't that friendly. I truly felt unwelcomed in their store. The guy behind the counter had finished with his previous customer and didn't ask if I needed anything even though I was standing right in front of him. I had to initiate the interaction. It's funny that they did tell me my husband could purchase the gun himself on their web site. How can they tell that their online purchases aren't being gifted??? My husband went and bought his own Hanukkah gift, the 9MM, after work today. This will be our last purchase at this facility. read more

Came in town for Easter with the family and decided to try out this place out. All the members in our party are gun owners with carry permits, so we were very familiar with your typical range shooting experience. What an awesome range! They are very thorough with safety and check in. EVERYONE who works there was super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and they have specials available. There is a safety person on the actual range at all times which I thought was awesome. I have been on ranges before where I was next to some people who seemed to have NO CLUE what they were doing which was obviously concerning. Having that safety person in there eliminates that. They have a great selection of rentals and guns for sell along with just about anything else (ammo, cases, eye/ear protection, etc.) you could want. Some of the nicest people I've met at a gun range. The employees at Shoot Point Blank are welcoming, helpful, and just awesome people to be around. Whether you are a beginner or veteran, they treat you with respect and care. Check-in process is easy and I appreciate they keep employees in the lane areas for questions and tips. From a retail perspective, I purchased my Sig 320 from them and that process was "by the book" but simple. Prices are competitive and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've been here quite a few times. Very nice facility and the customer service is always good. They have I think about 20 lanes . All types of guns are allowed and they have ammo to purchase as well. Another unique thing about Point Blank is they let you rent different caliber hand guns. I thought that was pretty kool, because I'm thinking about purchasing a Shield .45 and was able to try it there. Stopped in today while visiting from out of town. They had an AR-15 special (and I've been wanting one so figured why not) I have been to A LOT of gun store/ ranges all over the country and this is by far the best one I have ever been to! Kyle and Mark were phenomenal and patient with me as I am no gun expert. They immediately made me feel welcome and like a valued customer instead of some annoying guy that "didn't know anything about guns" I can't say enough about the overall experience and great customer service here! While attempting to purchase a 15 round magazine for my Sig P365 XL I was told that I had to provide a driver license to scan into the computer to open the cash register. I had not informed the sales person if I was paying cash or credit card. I refused the transaction. Shoot Point Blank Memphis is a great organization. They have classes, a great selection of firearms, plenty of ammo (which goes on sale from time to time), and their management is top-notch. The one time that I had an issue with an employee, Chad, the manager, expressed zero tolerance for ill treatment of customers. Working with people involves the occasional snag, and because Chad handled the situation with such skill I am not concerned with running into a problem ever again. I'm a member there, now, and plan on visiting regularly to keep my skills sharp. BTW - - If you enjoy meeting strong patriots, they have one of the original Navy Seals on staff there. read more

This was my second time visiting a gun range. My first experience at "another place in Memphis" was ok. My experience at this place was great. I went there with a group of friends. We had a room in the back to set up some snacks before we got out on the range. The staff were super nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were helpful, understanding, and patient as there was a mix of skill levels and experience with guns in our group. They helped those that needed help and let folks with more experience do their own thing. Whenever I go shooting again, I'm definitely going here...and probably no place else. One star because the great customer service, the great prices, and the outstanding facilities doesn't trump safety. Yesterday Aug 18th there were some idiots on the range shooting high power weapons unsafely for at least 15 mins... for example shooting with one hand, rapid firing and poor muzzle management. The rage safety which was very soft and weak said calm down ? Calm down ? No !!! Tell them up front do not do this again or you will be asked to leave. There are 20 other people trying to shoot and enjoy themselves and I don't understand how a place Like this allows it. I will say I've been during the week days and had no issue but mind you there are like 5 people on a 20 lane range so yes it was slow. Side note : buy your own hearing and eye protection and targets if you like to shoot often. Management Do your Job !!!! read more

I've been to this range three times now and have had a great experience each time. The staff is very experienced and attentive when you need help, and the selection they have for rentals is pretty nice. I only take off a star because there has been issues with the rentals they have jamming, which is a bit unfortunate given the price of admission, but otherwise there's no major complaints. Really appreciative of the range safety officers that do well to help you out and ensure everyone is behaving properly. read more

I went to this business for the first time as a group outing. Enjoyed my time at the business. Very clean, employee and customer interaction was great. The business could use a little more uniformity about lane times and dealing with large crowds. St. Patrick's Day was a busy day there. More safety guys on hand would be nice. They should also consider having some small kits available for minor cuts and accidents. The business allows to the shoot most firearms and rifles. Shotgun are slug only! This is a very nice shooting range. Very clean, very modern, and they have good ventilation on the shooting range. They have a good selection of guns and rifles to rent... They also have a very good selection of guns and rifles to to sell. The staff is very friendly, and very knowledgeable, and very helpful. It was an enjoyable experience being from out of town and coming to this range. The staff greets you when you walk in and when you are walking out they say see you later or have a good day. After a few times to the Shoot Point Blank, I decided to sign up for their CCW class. Not like any other gun range/store I have ever been to before. I have had nothing but bad experiences at gun stores/ranges and was hesitant to come here. After visiting, ALL of the staff are very helpful and extremely nice! If you are unsure about something, or new to guns they will not be condescending or rude like most stores!
