We came to Richard's, I explained what properties I was looking for in a gun and he chose 3 of his top picks at the moment for me to look at and stated if I didn't like any of them, he would give me more options and if we ran out of options he had on hand, he would be more than happy to order more options for me. He made me feel valued and heard, which was more than I could ask for. We have used Richard's Armory for putting on a picatinny rail system on one of our rifles as well and he did a superb job. Overall, this is an excellent armory owned and ran by a very nice, respectful and knowledgeable man. I am forever grateful for my experience at Richard's years ago and will always recommend his shop.

We signed our waivers and were ready to shoot in a relatively short amount of time. The salespeople know what they're doing, what they're talking about, and also never mind helping out and answering any questions you may have. Today I purchased a new firearm from them, and being a female and having a less than stellar experience numerous times in the past at other gun shops, I was a tad hesitant. However, that was not at all the case here. I came in looking for a specific gun that they did not have, however, they could've ordered in, but, I was shown other similar ones and I fell in love with one of them and ended up purchasing. Overall, it was a great experience and I was made to feel like a valued customer and not less than just because of my gender because someone would assume I don't know anything about guns. Gun prices are beyond fair and the assortment is vast and also always changing, so no matter what you're looking for, they probably have it or can order it for you at any time. I highly recommend this gun shop for anything between purchases to using the ranges.

Wow have these guys fallen off a cliff, I met the owner a little while ago and I gotta say that's…read moreone of the most arrogant pathetic douchebags I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The guy is an absolute clown and just wreaks of a fragile ego that he desperately needs people around to cosign, the service used to be top notch, the staff used to be top notch but they can't do a thing themselves in terms of buying or selling, they aren't the issue though, just the owner. I'd never ever go here for any needs, their prices are worse, their trade/buy prices from you to them are garbage, there is absolutely nothing redeemable about the place because the owner is too busy being a clown to act like an actual person instead of a goofy caricature. Not blaming the staff here, they just have no ability to do anything but sell you stuff, they aren't really personable, are unable to answer most questions, and generally I question their overall knowledge but that could be anywhere. There's a lot of competition that would be better to customers though, this place is right up there with Guns and Ammo on summer and their rep now which is infamous amongst locals. Everyone's heard of "Guns and Assholes" This place really used to be a whole lot different years back, but man is it just not an experience i'd recommend for anyone nowadays. Avoid it. Biggest issue by far is ownership: The owner is one of the single goofiest egos I've ever encountered, absolute cringe and the best way I can describe it is the guy is a living meme, the gun store employee, owner, etc. that lets their personality fall into complete and total delusion and a grown man who is way too old to be stuck in a perpetual teenage boy mental state. The epitome of dumb gunstore employee memes, and men who's egos turn them into total goofs. Talking to the guy was painful, your IQ takes a hit just from the interaction.

This 1 star rating is for the rude manager that was on staff the time of us being there around 1:00PM to 5:00PM. My wife purchased a gun and ammo and one hour range time, which I paid for. I tried to purchase a gun in my name, I didnt have my gun permit with me, so I used my drivers license, the manager told me I couldnt buy the gun because my middle name wasnt on my license. I replied "I recently bought two guns with my licence in Oxford MS." He replied, "well you can't buy one here, you need to get that fixed." I was walking away this man still talking, its like he was try to provoke me. I laughed it off because it was my wife's birthday and I didnt want to up set her. My wife and I entered the ranage the young lady that was in there saw my wife was nervous, she was very nice and helpful. after we enjoyed the hour in the range my wife said I will buy the gun for you. We asked one of the staff members and they said they had to ask the manager. A few minutes later the manager yells across the room, walking towards my wife and I, No!!! she can't buy the gun because she's try to buy it for you!!! Now I'm not arguing policy, I understand rules are rules. The manager on staff was very rude, loud and for some reason he kept going on and on after I said I understand. It seems like he was trying his best to provoke me. He kept telling me I need to get my license fixed. I replied, you need to get your attitude fixed. I told all the other staff members thanks.
