Despite oil changes being scheduled weeks in advance and showing up on time, I always waited at least 3 hours for my service to be completed. The final nail in the coffin, though, was when I showed up with tires they had installed that balded completely on the outer sides in the rear within a short time. They refused to take any accountability and told me this was "normal" if I drive on poorly maintained roads (I don't. I live in the downtown area of Moscow and work from home -- I drive maybe three times per week and less in the winter). I was told that day that Brady Bain, the service manager, was out and would call me. He never did, so I called and left him a message, but he never responded. I received an automated message from Brady asking me to rate my service, so I emailed him back to say I would still like to talk. I also gave him some options based on my availability; however, I never heard back. I'm still very disappointed with my experience at Rogers Subaru of Lewiston and would have appreciated any communication with their manager to address the situation. Today, I would never recommend going to them. I went out of my way for years to drive up to Lewiston from Moscow to get my car serviced here, and now I realize what a HUGE waste of money that was, terrible service, and it seems they probably messed up my alignment when I bought new tires from them previously, hence the balding. I received zero help or compensation for this issue despite my loyalty to them. DO NOT GO HERE.

He was told he didn't need a cosigner, they had him take the car without anything being finalized through the bank. The salesman said he'd bring up the paperwork to him but that didn't happen and he played stupid. Wednesday he was told the bank accepted the offer and the loan went through...another lie. They didn't even tell him on the phone Wednesday that he'd need a cosigner with the bank and I guarantee it was told to them. It's a HUGE detail. The loan in fact didn't go through and he found out he needed a cosigner today after he went down. But he was lied to prior to that because the salesman was supposed to go up to him with the paperwork. He was also encouraging him to leave with the dealer tag and to find a cosigner. This was after talking them down an overpriced car 18 year old car with over 130,000 miles on it and having $3000 down and being told it would all be fine. I knew better but they wouldn't listen to me. I had this happen to me before and knew it was crooked. ALSO, they tried to tell my son that it was against the law to get his tags and registration done by anyone other than them. That's a huge lie. The title is for the lien against you with the bank, you don't have to register the car through them. AT all. Don't believe their lies. This was not only the WORST car experience we've ever had. Not only was the salesman a lying snake but the GM is just as guilty. Especially when the GM was arguing with someone who works for the DMV telling him that what he's doing is wrong and he shouldn't tell people it's illegal to register the car on their own.

He was polite, friendly, kind and had a subtle sense of humor. I could tell he liked helping people. He even ran across the parking lot to retrieve my car from where they'd parked it and drove it to the building so I didn't have to walk so far. The little things also make a difference and make a person feel special.
