Rodney Clark was excellent! He promptly replied to my request the same day, and arrived punctual the next day (on a Saturday) to preform the job. He is professional, licensed, bonded, and insured. His equipment is sharp and well maintained. He left the job site clean and tidy. His pricing is fair and competitive. He ground out my tree stump effortlessly, taking extra care to avoid chipping the concrete. Whereas many arborist are only interested in high-yield commercial business, Clark's does jobs both big and small, with old-fashioned business values in which every customer is important, job size notwithstanding. Clark's returned my call promptly. They came over in the evening to give me an estimate, so I didn't have to take time off work. The work was scheduled for only about a week out. The crew arrived promptly and the work was done quickly and thoroughly. Just 2.5 hours to top 11 cypress trees, prune 3 citrus trees, as well as trimming a juniper and 3 redwood trees. They cleaned up and hauled everything off. Clark's paid close attention to every detail. They were careful to pull the falling debris into my yard, and what accidentally fell in the neighbor's yard was retrieved. They even netted debris from the pool! Clark's did a nice job trimming our (2) overgrown trees and left our property nice and clean in 30-40 minutes! Now there is no more mistletoe on our city tree and we may have this shade tree for another 20 years! The price was fair, the owner is great at communication, they arrived early but called first to make sure it was ok, the employees were respectful of our and our neighbor's properties and they all wore uniforms so there was no question as to who they were. The crew came in and did an excellent job for a good price. They worked fast and got all the tasks done quickly. They trimmed some bushes and took directions on how I wanted it to look. They pruned a fruit tree and checked with me later to make sure it was done how I wanted. They took care not to disturbed smaller plants that were located around where they were working. They brought in the right equipment to dig up a stump and left the job area neat and ready to plant something new. They raked up all the leaves and branches and left everything looking tidy. I was expecting one person to arrive by 10 am. A crew of 5 or more people showed up by 9:20 am and immediately started working. By 10:30 they were finished pruning 7 trees and did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards. They were efficient, helpful, answered all my questions and were very courteous. When they were through everything looked great and they reassured me the trees were healthy. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! In fact, we have already recommended them to a relative. We are very pleased with the work. Our pine tree was at least 100 feet tall, and on the edge of a busy street. I called for a estimate and Rodney came out the very next day. I had called a few others and they made appointment to come out but never showed up or even call to say couldn't come. Cut the tree down the next week and did a very good job, employees were all very polite and nice. worked very good together. We will recommend them to friends and relatives for sure. I don't usually don't write reviews but in this situation felt they deserved a great review as I had an ugly big palm tree in my yard that threatened to take over. Clark's (father and two sons), were not intimidated and within an hour removed the tree and stump, another stump close by (that I didn't even bid on), and trimmed three other trees that were shaped very well all for a sum that was very affordable. 5 Stars for Clark's Tree Service. We needed two drought stricken redwood trees, a volunteer oak, and an out of control pyracanthas removed. A good size crew arrived and had trees cut, stumps ground, and left the yard looking cleaner than when they arrived in a minimal amount of time. All of the guys were courteous, and one even offered to trim a branch that was in contact with an overhead wire. I would definitely hire them again. Highly recommend Clark's. read more
