Very satisfied with my pest control service. Especially my technician. James Hill is awesome. Highly efficient, professional and personable. Does excellent job! read more

Any business that has employees who will blatantly disregard and disrespect the request of people, deserves to be called out for unprofessional and inconsiderate conduct. If the work ethic and business ethos/philosophy is one of disregard for privacy of individuals in their own homes, then I can only imagine the product and performance Clark Pest Control will provide. On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 4:38 PM, a Clark Pest Control solicitor rang my residential doorbell three times in an attempt to solicit an unrequested product or service. Not once but three times the Clark Pest Control solicitor needlessly bothered my child who was trying to rest and recover. Be advised, I have three signs conveying no soliciting which are very visible and easily seen. One being a sign next to the walkway, one being above the door, and one being on top of the box. In our current society of high crimes and violent acts, my family has taken steps to stop soliciting as we do not know who these people are and what their background and motives may be. We will not place our children at risk. Clark Pest Control basically showed by their actions they don't care about my privacy and safety by demonstrating unprofessional conduct, that of ignoring the signs and consistently ringing our doorbell to invoke a response. What a terrible business practice and technique. Appalling and disrespectful. I along with others do not recommend doing business with Clark Pest Control. Their employees are the real pests you have to be concerned about. read more

Very hard to get them on the phone. You have to leave a message, and they never return calls. We had asked them to come spray for us, because a new neighbor recently had their house fumigated, which caused a ton of cockroaches to come our way, and, after 3 attempts at calling, and finally getting an "appt", they did not show up. Shameful behavior, this customer is an older US military veteran. It's not the workers who spray, really, it's their new management regime. Even some of the workers say they're not happy with the way management treats their customers. Now it's starting to show. I agree with some of the others here. They need to be CALLED OUT for this disrespectful treatment!! Esp when they raise their rates 2-3 times each year! We're planning to look at other options if this RUDENESS continues, read more

I recently was told by Clark Pest Control that I owed an additional $4.00, on my account. Of course I questioned it because I knew I had paid the bill. I was told there was a price increase. I asked how clients were notified of this price increase and was told it was in the monthly newsletter. She offered to send me the newsletter and this is what I received....First of all it states "we MAY need to pass along a portion of these costs along to our customers". Then states "SOME" accounts may see a slight increase in their recurring fees". In reading this I see no effective date, amount of increase or even know if I am included in the "SOME" they are referring to, yet this is considered official notice???? Thoughts....feel free to pass along. read more

Clark Pest Control - Pest Control Near Me - Lancaster, California

This company came to my house for months and billed my card at the same time I was paying their fumigation guy cash. When I called they made no effort to rectify the situation and to this day they have not tried to refund me a cent. Beware of this company and attach a card for autopay. I now look at my statement every week to look if any strange charges appear. Zero stars they lost that when I found out they were real crooks not metaphorically speaking. read more

This is a very dysfunctional company. I used them for 20 plus years and when Pat left the company it was never the same... Different people all the time. I requested an appointment only, they would just show up! Billing department is the worst! Could never keep my mothers and my bill separate. They would spray same day, we would pay same day, but always mess it up. They would either credit my moms with both payments or me. Worst part is they hounded me for payment but not my mom... Like I said they would spray both homes same day and we would pay same day... when I called to show them the error, the billing "Lady" talked to me like I was a child, very dismissive, would not even listen to what I had to say! So she mails me the statements and I PROVE THEY WERE WRONG with their paper work and owed us money! They claimed they sprayed when they did not, but billed us for it. I sent them several letters and phone calls requesting the money returned and have yet received anything from them, i.e. phone call, letter or apology. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company! Look else where and save yourself a lot of headaches! read more

The service is great at keeping the bugs away, but the office staff has its own "bugs"! We pay with our debit card which they have on file. Every time we get the new card and expiration date, we call and update. Every time they tell us they have made a note in the file. Every time they then call us and say the card won't go through. Every time we tell them we already called with the new information. Every time they say someone else ( never the person on the phone, of course) must have forgotten. Every time we decide to give them another chance because the actual service guy is great. For years! What idiots were we to keep Clark!?! Every time UNTIL NOW! BYE, CLARK. read more

I have had pest control with them for six months. They come out to spray on the most awkward schedule. Their staff is very unprofessional. I have had to call each month (six months straight) due to billing issues. They continue to bill me 3-4 times a month, and if you do not call, they keep your money. However, to refund MY money that they stole takes 5-7 business days. I would not recommend this company. I am in the process of reporting them to the BBB. read more

I have been using pest control service with Clark Pest Control for a few years. Cisco, is my tech and he is AWESOME!! Cisco is always polite, knowledgeable, and thorough. Those big ugly amazon roach things are not welcome at my home and neither are those ants nor deadly spiders. Cisco makes sure that my family is safe from those pesky creepy-crawly annoying bugs. Now if only I can get someone to get rid of these gross LIZARDS, Chipmunks, and these huge flying roach looking bugs (they only come around at night). But anywho, Thank you Cisco for keeping the bugs away :) read more

Just like the previous review, they have extremely intrusive door-to-door salespeople. Not sure if it's their actual employees or if they contract with a third party company but they do no know how to take no for an answer and kindly leave you alone. Last night, after I immediately told the gentleman that I was happy with my current pest control company and not interested, he went on a nearly ten minute sales pitch about how good their services and and how horrible my current company is and how "so many of my neighbors are leaving their current providers and switching to Clark. I continued to tell him no and he kept going and going. Every business has competition, and competition should make businesses stronger and better, but I have never respected a company that bashes a competitor that they likely know nothing about. It shows the true integrity of their own company culture and expresses weakness. In the end, his service quote was double of what I currently pay and he had the nerve to ask me for a bottle of water before he left. Can't get anymore unprofessional than that. Today, he came back to my door with another co-worker. I didn't answer and now know to never ever consider Clark Pest Control for service in the future. read more

I just called in from the number on their website to schedule a termite inspection. The rep told me it was $75. I asked her about the website that stated "Free Inspections" and she said it was only for past clients. I think that should be specified on the site. She gave me an available date and I told her that it should be fine since the home was vacant, but I would just need to call the listing agent to make sure it was ok. I asked if she would suggest I call back or schedule thru the website since there was an area online to do so. She said they don't do online scheduling. I told her she should maybe look into updating/correcting the site and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about at all. read more

I used to be a customer. The service started perfect; we had agreed on first Monday of every month. Then the rep started to show up as whenever the company needed to bill me. The rep was a nice guy but extremely pushy, I guess he was taking direction from his management- even when I said I wasn't home he wanted to do my home exterior in order to bill me. I asked to skip a month as I wasn't available and he told me the company doesn't allow to skip. I stated I didn't want them on that day period. It was the last day of November. The rep kept pushing and showed up at my door. I did not allow him to do it. I have old him I am the customer and I stated again I didn't want any the service. He wanted to bill me anyway. Again he said the management didn't allow that. They never came back to my house. So if you want to deal with this type of salesmanship go ahead and hire them. read more

Service to eradicate moles seemed to start well but quickly turned into an absentee technician with little effort and zero results. after Several complaints and a request for a new technician, a supervisor came out and brought the same technician with him. They parked in the street, I believe it was because they never intended to stay. The supervisor immediately began insulted me and my intelligence, when I began to complain they immediately turned and left. Worst experience with a large company that I have ever had. I'm shocked they're still in business. read more

Salesmen are insanely pushy! One came around noon. I told him I wasn't interested right now but he proceeds to tell me about a neighbor a few doors down that he's working with. I told him he can leave a card and we will consider but now just isn't a good time. He continues trying to sell to me stating they are cheaper than competitors. I again say I am uninterested and I need to get to my food on the stove he continues talking and I repeat again I'm uninterested and in the middle of something else. He then said said he will come back later. He came back again at 830! Kept my husband outside for a long time trying to convince him to get the service. Gave him a quote and after 10+ minutes of him talking as I'm walking downstairs I told my husband to just let him know we will call him when we are ready (my husband didn't realize I had already told the man No thank you earlier in the day). My husband turns to speak to him and he responds "Oh I see, your wife is the one telling you no!" Wow! This man comes to my house TWICE in one day after I told him no thank you the first time and By this time it's close to 9pm, we both work and if we have a need we would have gladly called you! But now, when and if we do want to use a pest control service we will use someone else. read more

I have to write a bad review mainly due to their disorganization. The tech was fine but office has problems. We hired them and scheduled the first appointment - all went fine with that. We had to sign a two year contract and the tech was due to come in two months. I called the day before to confirm. I have to schedule my day so I can make sure to be there as I have dogs and cats. The tech was due to show between 10 and 12 that day and at 11:45 I called to just confirm he was still coming. I was told yes. At 12:30 I called again - as I had to leave the house. I was told oh no the tech was actually sick so no one would come. I was told that someone would call the following Monday and reschedule. An hour or so later someone calls me to tell me the tech was not coming! Thanks for the prompt notice. Monday came and went and no call from Clark to reschedule. So a week later I found another pest control company. Two weeks later my doorbell rings and it's the tech saying he was there to do my service from Clark. No call - nothing. I told the tech sorry I found another company - no one called to reschedule. A week later I get a call from a very rude woman from Clark asking me if I knew I signed a contract. I said yes. She said you can't let us go. I explained that they did not hold up their end of the contract and explained what happened. She said "Oh Okay" and hung up no sorry - nothing. I would not recommend them. read more

Hello, I had Clarks company for over a year . Everything was ok until I develop a Rat issue. This company services my house a few times to handle this situation. They repeatedly told me that there was not a rat issue in my attic. I decided to go with another pest control company and with an a few days they handled the rat issue problem. I called Clarks pest control to cancel my service and they told me that I still have one month left that I owe them . I explain to them that the company came out to my house few times cannot handle the situation , so can you please just cancel my service. A representative told me they wish they would cancel the agreement I asked for a confirmation and they said no and got irritated when I asked for a confirmation. So I thought everything was good a few months later I found out they reported me to collections. this is bad business practice and I do not recommend this company to anyone. read more

My husband scheduled an appointment with Edwin Orantes service technician, he came out to our house said he can get rid of gofers for us, gave us a price, scheduled an appointment between 8-12 but never showed up. Called company and they had Edwin call, he said there was a mistake and would be at our home from 12-5 again never showed up, but called my husband to say his gas machine not working but would put poison down the dirt holes but would charge him the same amount as if he gassed them. My husband said no way, only going to pay for poison. Later Edwin called back said he was not interested in doing the job! WTH, would not recommend this crock or his company. read more

Very dependable and great customer service!!! After they spray ,bugs are gone quickly !!! Thank you Rick!!!

Horrible experience with this company ! The office is so unorganized , they never process payments and then they keep sending letters to send to collections. Vicky the office lady is beyond rude , Armand the salesman was no help either after I reached out to him thru text messages he never bothered to reply. After a week of bugging the office for manager,I finally got a hold of Adrian he took my payment and re assured me it was the last issue .Payed the bill 7/20 and I am still getting charged again . Vicky once again was rude and said it will take time because they are unorganized due to covid 19. Being dealing with this issue since April ! read more

I have had several pest control companies come over the years, but I have been using Clark for the past couple of years, these guys far exceed the work of any other company out here! They do a fantastic job are extremely courteous, and they do not miss a thing! He will see only dead bugs after this! And then you won't see any bugs for a very long time! I Highly Recommend then to ALL my family, friends, & co-workers alike!! I cannot say enough good things about these guys! read more

I had the most refreshing visit from Rick at Clark pest control this week. I did an online request on Sunday and had a call back within a half hour. They got my info and my problem. Monday the local person called and told me Rick would be out on Tuesday for my mouse problem. He did a free inspection, yes that says free, nothing is free anymore, but this visit was. He told me he doesn't think I have an infestation and putting down traps would be the best option. He even left me some free glue traps. He checked out the outside and gave me some best practices. I don't really care about ants or spiders once in a while and since there is no spray for rodents, he helped as best he could. He saved me from signing up for service that would not help me and would not solve my problem. Rick was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. I would recommend Clark and Rick was great! read more

We have had Clark Pest Control care for our home for five years. In that time we had an "invasion" or two and Clark always responded quickly and thoroughly. Our Clark Technician James is absolutely the best. Prompt, courteous, professional, friendly. And thank you James for your care and concern for our home! read more

Best pest control available. James comes to my house twice a month, does a great job and never lets my dog out.

I'm not even one of their customers and they won't stop sending letters. Most other places have stopped since we moved in but these ones just keep coming. At first they even acted like we were a customer, checking in on us, which was odd and I thought it might be some scam but now I just throw it straight into the trash. Still, a waste of my time and a waste of paper. read more

Again Cisco took very good care of my home and with good advice. We both work together to keep my home bug free.

I used to really love this company. Back when a gentleman named James worked at my local Clark's pest control he definitely over compensated for the lack of professionalism and work done by the ladies i, the office. I'm sure the company as a whole would likely get 5 stars but this review is particularly about just my local office. The ladies in the office Do NOT do their jobs and no one notified me about a change in the chemical being sprayed at my house which would have been important considering their animal and children safe solution was the reason I hadn't initially went with their competitor. I have have the most horrible experiences since James left including being double charged, lack of communication between the office and the field techs resulting in the wrong stuff being sprayed, the wrong date continuously that my card was charged, inability to speak to management on request, rude staff in the office and multiple, occasions of a tech showing up randomly to spalray ONLY the outside of the house despite me,having always gotten the inside and outside sprayed each time for a full year b4 James' departure. Without him to represent the company as effectively as he did, i refuse to continue patronage with this company. read more

The BEST pest control service EVER!!!! Seriously!!! My folks have been long time residence of the Antelope Valley. They live in a mature, well kept, lived in neighborhood. They have beautiful well kept landscape... What I didn't know was pesky, nasty, ugly rodents and insects LOVE it!!! One day I noticed a black widow and so I freaked out!!! I was chatting with another spider hater and they recommended me to Clark Pest Control... Thank God I did!!! They came by quick was able to asses the situation and had a full blown "asses and attack" the situation. I told them to find out whatever was wrong and fix it! So they did :) Now I'm not gonna tell you all the nasty they found but it was enough for a "F" rating at a food place. So far my folks have had them for over a year and I'm proud to say they are infestation free :) The technicians are very professional, clean and efficient. I was expecting a lot less in mannerism but they are extremely into there job and proud. Also I don't know how much my folks are getting charged for the routine check ups but I do know that they squeak when they walk so for them to keep Clark Pest Control they must be pocket book friendly. read more

Nothing but waste of money. They are horrible. Supposed to come out monthly, haven't in three but still bill me. They don't do anything worth a crap for wasps, ants return in days. They are horrible, go buy home defense and spray yourself, way cheaper and more effective. read more

I've been a customer of Clark pest control for a long period of time now. I have been very pleased with their service throughout the years whenever I do end up having any problems there technicians are very knowledgeable and take care of my problems right away. I have only had one problem and it had nothing to do with my service technician, I had an issue with my account so I was transferred to a person claiming he was the boss upon talking to this individual I found out it was a woman a supervisor by the name is Kathy, I explain my problem to her and she proceeded to talk down to me at that point I kept trying to explain my issue but it didn't matter because no matter what I said this individual was going to be right and I mean no matter what I said. so at that point I couldn't take it anymore so I hung up I tried calling back but I kept getting transferred to her so I stop calling all together. upon speaking to a previous employee that works for the competitor now he explain that she is not a reasonable person and treats others as if they are incompetent and beneath her and treats the individuals that she is responsible for as numbers not people. he did explain that her employees go to others for help when they need something that involves them or a company issue. I don't know that there is any truth to this but because of the way that I was treated it doesn't seem to be far off from that story from my point of view this would not be a proper way to run a customer service based company. needless to say I am still a customer due to the fact that I like my technician and he is a great individual I hope this helps any current or potential customers if you ever have a problem thank you read more

On Thursday Clark Pest Control assessed my home for rats. They determined three entry points in the attic and sealed these access points. They set traps in my attic and said they would return Saturday morning between 8-10 A.M. which they did. However; they did not check inside my home for any access points for the rats to enter such as holes around sink pipes etc. I had no idea until last night when BIG rats began entering into my home that these trapped rats were desperately entering into the house. It was a long miserable night. At 8 a.m. they arrived, when I told the exterminator he agreed that they should have accessed the interior as well to prevent this from occurring. He then said "I can't do anything, all I do today is remove and replace traps." He said a supervisor would contact me later today or Monday. I called the office and was told there is no supervisor today, I was on my own and that Monday someone would call me. I cannot begin to express the frustration, upset and disappointment over their service. They had come very highly recommended, my experience IS completely unacceptable and I would NOT recommend them. I understand a mistake was made, all I wanted this morning was it remedied and to feel safe in my home. Instead I received extremely poor customer service and I am on my own after paying them $325 for the service of exterminating rats from my home three days ago. The rats are trapped in the attic and walls, have no way to the outside and they have access places into my house!!!!. My husband is a soldier, is away and I have done the best I know to block the access points and have placed traps on my own in these locations. Imagine sleeping in home house tonight??
