The money pit I bought has been a borderline disaster with what was/is wrong with it and these guys have made it much more tolerable to deal with while we try to fix up the place. In the past year they have replaced my water heater, repiped the exhaust, participated in a complete bathroom renovation, and a chimney removal with relocation of the exhaust. I knew they would care about their work when I got my first estimate from them about my water heater. I had quotes 2-3 times what Hubbard's quoted me. Both brothers were very tolerant of my many questions and could tell I was in over my level of skill with this house and went well above what they needed to when working on those projects. I know they are super busy as I imagine they are the most popular plumbing and heating guys around and my projects have all been complicated and needed to schedule others contractors with them. I wouldn't be surprised if they might have to triage an issue during high-needed times, but they are worth the wait. I almost feel bad that I have more work needed to be done and don't want to waste their time or talent.

Called at 5am and got the call center. They took all my info but got no response. Had to figure out how to shut down the water and unit myself while cold water was spraying everywhere. Called back again at 8am and got call center again. They said they sent the message and tech got the page at 5am when I originally called. Yet no call back from the tech or anyone! Had to call back again at 9am. This time got the office. The woman on the other end couldn't have cared less that my basement was flooded, I had no heat or water, that we're regular customers and that no one called back. She said the tech was on vacation! So why have a calling service if you're not going staff it appropriately or care to respond? Frankly if the tech called me back and said he was on vacation I would have been fine with that so I could have moved on to another emergency service sooner. On a recent zero degree day, I called up with a question about some open valve on my furnace piping that I was suspicious was causing circulation issues and our house /radiators to not be heating and always be luke warm since we moved in two winters ago. I was surprised they sent a technician right out to come talk to me just for a question, not an emergency, on a zero degree day (helped that we are under the yearly service contract). He got here, checked the valves and explained their function, adjusted it to be partially open, but then on inspecting the system he found that it was electrically wired improperly and was configured so that it was only calling the furnace to heat the water to the minimum set temp of 120 instead of 190 needed to heat our radiators! yikes. He re-wired the thermostats to call the burner to produce the correct amount of hot water on the spot, in and out in about an hour! A "free" and no hassle experience because we had a service contract, on a zero degree day; i did not expect such a good experience but am very happy with Reggie's now, especially this technician, and happy my house is finally warm for once!
