Great experience! My first time going to Clarity Optical and the service was great from the start. I was greeted by Leah the receptionist in a warm and professional manner upon my arrival. The office is small but well organized which made me feel I was receiving very personalized service. Dr. Irene Flores was very professional and friendly. Dr. Irene and her team are amazing. I haven't been to an optometrist in almost 8 years. Needless to say, I need new glasses. I called Dr. Irene's office and her team quickly helped me set up an appointment that same week. They were clear about what I needed to bring and even gave me a reminder the day before (you'd be surprised how many places don't send reminders). The day of my visit, Dr. Irene got to work checking my eye's health, giving me an eye exam, looking at my current prescription, helping me find my new prescription, and even helping me pick out a new frame all in about an hour. Talk about efficient! Another thing I really appreciated was Dr. Irene's transparency with prices and telling me exactly how much my glasses would cost before/after my insurance. It has been YEARS since I've visited the optometrist and I decided to try Dr. Irene Flores on recommendation of a close friend. I called before lunch and was able to schedule an appointment to be seen that same afternoon! As I walked into the office, I was impressed with the cleanliness and the cute decor. Lilian kindly greeted me and gave me the standard paperwork to fill out. Within about 10 minutes Dr. Flores called me to the back. She was very kind and did not pass judgment when I told her my glasses were about 4-5 years old. She gave me a very thorough eye exam and explained everything she was doing every step of the way. In the end, my eyes only got a little bit worse but she suggested I get new glasses since my current pair is all scratched up. She was very honest with me and even helped me pick out my new frames. I definitely recommend Dr. Flores if you need a new optometrist. You can't beat good service and her location is awesome. P.S. Both my 10 and 7 year old boys got their glasses from Clarity. The glasses were well fitted with all the lens upgrades. My 10 year old accidentally broke his frame arm and Dr Irene was so kind to order new replacement arms. My 7 year old lost his eye glasses in the ocean, they fell off when he was playing in the water. Dr Irene was very compassionate and kind to provide a discount for a replacement pair. I apologize to Dr. Irene Flores and her staff- this review is long overdue! I have gotten LASIK in the past so I honestly have not had an eye appointment in a while- but in the recent months I've felt that my eyesight had deteriorated a bit, and is especially noticeable while driving at night. I found Clarity Optometry from the stellar Yelp reviews and was finally able to see Dr. Flores after trying to see her for almost 2 months (I cancelled a few times due to my sporadic work schedule but Dr. Flores had been nothing but responsive and accommodating!) and had a wonderful experience! She is so great at her job and extremely knowledgeable. I was so worried that my eyes were reverting back to the bad eyesight I had my whole life but she reassured me that everything was fine and if I got glasses there would barely be any prescription lol- definitely putting me at ease. I ended up getting glasses regardless because my insurance covered it, and she helped me pick out frames- such a huge collection to choose from, I could have been there for hours trying them on (which I probably was)! I also told her my eyes easily dried out and she sent me home with a bunch of freebie boxes of eyedrops- which I stash in my car, at work, in my purse, etc.. all in all she is an amazing optometrist with great bedside manner- I cannot highly recommend her enough. Smart doctor LONG VERSION: See below :) Recently visited this office with my fiance, as he was out of contacts and needed to update his glasses prescription as well. He asked for help to find a good place since he knows I'm super picky, so I found this spot and accompanied him with my critical eye. As soon as we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk, who handed us the paperwork to fill out. When I called to schedule his appointment, the staff asked for his insurance information, so all of this was pulled up and ready to review once we got there. I really appreciated this since some offices have you wait around forever while they are on hold with the insurance company so it's hard to shop around the office without knowing where your price point is and what will be covered. After going over coverage information, we were left to take a look at frames while we waited for the doctor to finish up with the patient she was currently seeing. I took a peek around and noticed that the office was very clean, well taken care of & was very well lit. I hate it when you're trying to see if a pair of glasses look good on you, but you have to walk around trying to find some good light. There was a great selection of frames, multiple styles & price points, and a very sleek & modern display. All top notch. After about 5 or 10 minutes, the doctor called us back to start the appointment. After determining his glasses prescription, she asked about his hobbies & interests and suggested two types of contacts that she thought would be best for him to try. He was given the trial lenses to try out and see how he liked them, and then scheduled to return in a week or so to follow up with her. She was friendly, efficient, and clearly very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions with ease and gave us alot of tips about dealing with eyestrain while on the computer, which is something we both have issues with. He went back for his follow up appointment and ended up ordering a 1 year supply of contacts. The contacts also came with a sample of contact lens solution which was great since we forgot to stop by the store on the way home to pick some up. The one year supply of lenses arrived on his doorstep about 1 week later. Doesn't get much easier than that. Needless to say I was definitely impressed with this office and plan to return for an appointment myself in a couple weeks to use up my flex spending cash before the end of the year. I'm so glad I found this optometry spot so close to home. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. So easy and so quick that I was able to be seen the next day. It's a small and neat office but very clean and smells really good inside. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a smile. Dr. Flores was very professional and explained everything she was going to do before each test. I've had my eyes checked in the past by other optometrist and they've never really throughly tested my eyes like Dr. Flores did. Besides the eye muscle test and the visual acuity test, she also tested my visual field, made sure I didn't have glaucoma or cataracts. I was honestly bracing myself for that poof of air in the eye which I was accustomed to getting in the past. I'm glad we didn't have to do that. It was always uncomfortable. After the exam, she answered all my questions about my interest in contacts. She sat down with me about the different frames, lenses, and contacts. Broke down what my insurance will cover and what my out of pocket co-pay would cost. Super easy and super fast. It didn't take me long to pick out my frames. Dr. Flores also gave me an itemized bill at the end. She's well aware of how my flex pay worked. I didn't even have to ask for it. I'm a newby to the optometrist, but Dr. Flores is wonderful! My husband and I were able to go based on our hectic schedules, and have consecutive appointments. We were fitted for glasses (because we both needed them!) and both had a huge variety of frames to choose from! I even got sunglasses from Clarity because that's a huge reason I'm having eye issues. I just left from an eye exam which it was my first appointment with her and Dr. Flores was very nice. I honestly forgot about my appointment due to my busy work schedule (and even though I got an automated text about it the day before..life happens lol) and the receptionist gave me a courtesy call because I hadn't arrived yet and thank God this place wasn't too far from me...I rushed to get there and I was fitted for contacts and glasses. She was accommodating and took her time, she is very knowledgeable and detailed like I like and she has really great up to date technology that my last doctor did not have and convenient parking available for her patients.
