Dr. Kathy is a gem. Professional, friendly and thorough. And Karen who was running the front of the house, was rocking it with all the busy work of greeting patients, answering phones, and carrying out the services necessary for perfect frames, insurance queries, exam prep and all the little details in between...she was managing it all like a lady boss. This little office is tucked into a strip mall which means convenient free parking, easy in and out access and options like dining, exercise and quick stop shops. Got errands? You can probably complete some of them in the little mall and can likely complete all of them in the surrounding area. My insurance changed dramatically, so finding good, reputable and legit care sometimes takes a lot of research. I want good vibes, no chaos and don't want my medical offices to feel like churn clinics. I found Eye Zone meets my requirements and I'm glad I scheduled an appointment. I do have to wait several weeks for my glasses, but that is what it is with some insurance these days. The group here is rocking the process. What's not to love? read more

I went there in late 2025. I had an eye examination and ordered a pair of glasses that was promised to be in three weeks. Never heard from them. I called in early December and was told the glasses broke and they have to order another one. Again, didn't hear from them. Called and left a voicemail in January and no response. Finally stop in and the glasses was there. They said they called but couldn't reach me. Strange. read more

Eyzone really needs to improve their front-desk service. The older lady at reception was openly rude and unprofessional--she ignored me when I walked in to check in, and again when I tried to update my contact information. It was obvious she was doing it intentionally, and although I didn't get her name, her behavior was completely unacceptable. The younger lady was the only one who actually helped me. I also noticed that the people the older receptionist did treat nicely were the ones she encouraged to write reviews, which says a lot about the inconsistency in how patients are treated. When I finally spoke with Dr. Kathy, I only mentioned updating my contact info and didn't bring up the rude behavior, but the experience definitely left a bad impression. The last time I visited a couple of years ago, this front office staff wasn't there, and it never felt like this before. Other than that, Dr. Kathy continues to be great. read more

I have unique challenges with my vision due to my extreme near-sightedness, astigmatism, and history of problematic surgery results (prior to finding EyeZone). Every year my changing vision seems to present new challenges, but Dr Kathy is patient and always persists until she finds a solution. It is so hard trying to find a new Optometry office. My optometrist retired and so I needed to find someone new for my eye care. Dr. Kathy and her team welcomed me in and provided great care. I was lucky to get in right away. I received an exam that was thorough, and Dr. Kathy explained everything to me (making me a partner in my care). Karen worked with me to get my insurance information straightened out and to get my glasses fitted. I can't wait until my glasses arrive! I'm hoping Dr. Kathy has no plans to retire soon. My experience with this office has been beyond frustrating. Karen, the front desk representative, has zero customer service skills. The irony of her name would be comical if the situation weren't so infuriating. I called three times within an hour to place an order for contact lenses. The first two calls went unanswered, and when I finally got through on the third attempt, I was told to stop calling and just leave a voicemail next time. When I explained that I had already left a message previously with no response, I was abruptly rushed off the phone and told my contacts would arrive in seven days. Well, here we are 17 days later, and still no contacts. When I called to check on the order, I was told they were on backorder and that "something must have happened." At this point, I can't shake the feeling that this was intentional. If Karen doesn't like you, be prepared to deal with her attitude and complete lack of professionalism. This office clearly doesn't prioritize customer care, and I won't be returning. read more

This is a great hidden spot. The staff is super nice and helpful picking out the right frame for me. Kathy the Optometrist, was fast and experienced. All I need is to make an appt and it went pretty swiftly. The only is they don't turn on the ac, it gets pretty stuffy and uncomfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. read more

I went in for eye exam because I wear contacts all day and reading glasses before bed! .... and have new insurance ...looks like I was never told my insurance only covers either or! Sooo long story short they bye passed I wear contacts all day for work and got paid more for ordering the glasses! Contacts were never even ordered!!!! now I have to pay out of pocket for my contacts! Dr. Kathy came highly recommended by a friend. Scheduling an appointment with her was a breeze. Her website features a scheduling link, so booking a convenient time was a walk in the park. Upon arriving, she was incredibly friendly and warm. She was very timely and there was no waiting whatsoever. Be warned: she's a one woman show - so allow for a little bit of time to accommodate, as she is not only the eye doctor but also the receptionist. The eye exam that Dr. Kathy gave was by far, the best one, I've ever received. She was incredibly thorough and patient.
