Came here for a private party on New Year's Eve and it was awesome! The staff was friendly, the drinks were good and the food was GREAT. The staff was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people but they handled it well considering the open bar madness. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the location as I do not frequent this area. But if I lived in close proximity, I think that Clara's would be a frequent spot for me. Clara's is my go-to sports bar in Brooklyn. No matter how big the game is, they have plenty of seating for everyone and a giant screen projector in their back room. They have more than enough TVs, in case you want to watch something unpopular. And they have every channel. The drinks are great. The food is surprisingly good! I've had almost everything on the menu and you can't go wrong. I can't believe I ordered a lobster roll at a pub, but it was actually the best I've had! They also have a pool table and a photo booth, and they have a DJ on Friday nights. This bar is never over-crowded, so you could bring a huge group here and still feel perfectly comfortable. The customer service is also out of this world. Seriously the kindest staff. I rarely leave reviews, but I genuinely love this place and more people should come here!! read more

Got there through Bushwick Daily's Best of Bushwick list. Bushwick's best burger and wings is what I was looking for. I arrived kind of early for lunch time. The place did just open at 12. It was quite, some typical dive bar music was playing and football was on the screens. The Aristocrat burger did not disappoint! A cheesy and creamy double cheesburger with a sesame loaded bun for 15$ Comes with some crispy fries and ketchup. It was really filling. I will come back for the wings! Hands down the BEST chicken sandwich i have ever had! Previously the title belonged to Delaney Chicken, but Clara's is fantastic (and only $8). The classic might sound boring and/or weird (just a big buttermilk brined fried chicken thigh + pickles) but it works very, very well - it's not one of those situations where the pickle is an uninvited surprise guest. I decided to finally give Clara's a shot when my good friend mentioned she wanted to catch up and watch the Rangers game (girls who like hockey, shocking right?) Called ahead and a friendly female voice let me know they have 9 television screens and would be happy to put the game on for us! Quick, fairly priced and actually good bar food. The Drinks: THEY HAVE SAPPORO ON TAP. Love at first sight. The issue: Halfway into the rangers game (at this point we had finished our food and were sipping on our beers) someone comes by and switches the channel even though we were glued to the TV... this is NY. Why would you change the opening night Rangers game for a damn Dodgers game?! We look around like wtf happened, to see what i'm guessing was one of the managers holding the remote and some big lug of a man grinning ear to ear "oh, were you guys really watching that?" No asshole. I guess not any more... Got even more annoyed when I realized it was already on a screen in the back but the big guy wanted it close to the bar so he wouldn't have to walk the extra 20 feet. Came in here late at night and the kitchen was still open. I ordered the honey garlic wings and rosemary fries, which were absolutely delicious. The vibe was great: I walked in to The Stooges playing and then listened to a great selection of surf rock, garage rock, alternative, and indie. The bartender Jess was very friendly, and I was recommended the place by another bartender (off duty) named Brittany. No matter how busy, she always had time to tend to her patrons and even listen to a few of my stupid anecdotes. Antibiotics kept me from trying any of the drinks, but there was a great selection of beer, liquor, and some specialty cocktails as well. Jess mentioned that Clara's now has a jazz band come in on Saturdays, so I hope to return some Saturday night for that and, by then, a few drinks. Clara's is a real gem. Went to Clara's Friday night to watch the Islanders game. Me and my cousins were waiting for a table to free up so to waste some time we decided to play pool. We started playing and then the owner came to us and told us that that playoffs game are on and we need to stop playing after the game. We were upset but we understood his side and agreed to stop playing. A table freed up and we sat down to eat. I need to mention that we're Puerto Rican, while waiting for our food a Caucasian couple started playing and no one said anything to them. They didn't say anything to them until we complained. We were definitely racial profiled and definitely didn't feel welcomed in this establishment. They forget what neighborhood they're in or they know and aim to keep certain people out. I'll never step foot back in here and those who support this place are the same people who ignore the injustices that occur in this country. read more

Horrible horrible customer service ! I ordered a VEGGIE burger through Über eats and received a real burger !!!! I took a bite out of real meat. Being a vegetarian that's extremely not ok. I called the establishment and JESS told me to make sure it's real meat!!!! When I insisted they passed me around from person to person and told me I need to contact Über eats for a refund...
