This was my experience from working with Mr. Louis Afrouznia. I was searching for a lovely tote that just happened to be carried by The Duchess of Sussex, our beautiful homegrown American export, formerly known as Meghan Markle. Mr. Afrouznia told me there was not a single handbag available in the entire country but he went the extra mile and proposed that he order it directly from Spain to accommodate ME-a stranger! He actually cared that I get this handbag. It disappointed HIM that he could not accommodate me! Who does that these days? My shopping experience was superb due to working with Louis, a rarity. CH Carolina Herrera must be proud to have such a person represent their exquisite offerings. It was a wonderful experience, Louis. I'll treasure this handbag for its craftsmanship and design but I will always remember YOU, the gentleman that cared enough to go the extra mile for me. Thank you. Lloyd Kelley Ford Denver

What a spectacular personal fitting & photos opt experience at their fancy downtown loft. Jade…read moregreets her guest upon the arrival. Everything follows suit accordingly with a few amazing highlights and surprises. Prep 1: Before your trip, to save time, you should look through their online catalog to decide which pieces you want to own. Better yet screen shot them and show them to the associate. Prep 2: For easy in and out between fittings, wear a simple T-shirt w/ no bra inside and shorts with flip flops. Wearing no bras grantee no marks on your skin, looks better on photos. Prep 3: Have the mindset that you may or may bring the pieces home the same day since availability in sizes or colors varies. They always can put you on wait lists. I just bought a floor sample since it was clean, and it is the exact color and size I fit. Some non-current season items may not be included in the near future production. Prep 4: Check the traffic and making sure you show up on time. Parking right across the street for $10 an hour or $15 over an hour. The parking lot takes credit cards. Put a smile on your face, I did not get charge extra even I ran over an hour. BUT I tip the parking staff. (Pay forward) Prep 5: Do read their email invite to get an understanding the nature of your visit- which is trying on pieces to find a good fit and bring them home. Prep 6: Go on IG to check out the best poses other purchasing customers have done. Try it yourself and have fun. The backdrop of fashion district is amazing and very distinguishing. Be mindful of the time, the sooner you have tried out and make a purchase, the more time left for pictures within that 60 minutes. Jade was nice to offer taking photos for me, but she looks busy when she came out from the office in the next room. I think I had a mere 15 mins left to take photos with my newly bought item. Prep 7: Please go to the gym.... a broader shoulders, higher collar bones, higher curvier hips can carry the areyouami outfits better. Last note: It is common to fit well in a size 0 item, but another piece demands a medium then you order a skirt in size 2. That's the point of having a loft fitting experience. Have fun!

I returned an unworn, unwashed lace dress that I removed the close pin tag to try on since the garment was very delicate in nature and didn't want to snag the fabric with the tag. Once I tried on, I pinned the tag back on and moved forward with a return. The return was denied because I didn't pin the tag back on the exact original location. I would understand if the dress was damaged or I sent back without the tags completely. They issued a store credit for moving a tag lol.

But she also has really lovely high-quality clothing for nearly every occasion (I'm just a workout junkie!!). I have so many pieces from Vanessa (the delightful, personable woman who runs this selective, small business), that I hardly know which one to say is my favorite. I'm always getting compliments on her workout wear! The quality of the material is also just superior to anything else on the market. She brings everything from her hand, picked vendors in South America. I have washed my workout wear from her, not only in the washing machine but a couple times I accidentally put it in the dryer (don't do that!!) and it all still looks amazing and hasn't lost any of its elasticity. TL/dr: finest quality, reasonable price, ethical!!

A Christmas Moment is a new pop up store, located on the 2nd floor of Santa Anita Westfield Mall,…read morebetween Bearology and Sunglass Hut. Just in time for the holidays, this place opened on November 2nd. This evening, as I was enjoying my drink from Bearology, I noticed all of the cute little ornaments at A Christmas Moment and told my husband that I thought it would be nice to pick up an ornament for my new nephew (he was born on Valentine's Day). I really loved all of the cute little ornaments that I saw and was thinking how there was an ornament for everyone I knew (especially for those that have just about everything and not sure what else you can buy them for Christmas). There were ornaments that were for couples, families of 3, families of 4, ornaments for pets (I really was considering getting an ornament for my little girl dog), ornaments that are for specific occupations (including doctors, dentists, nurses, food servers, a manicurist, a hair dresser and a veterinarian), ornaments for those in sports, ornaments for those expecting (a baby....), baby ornaments, etc. Most ornaments range from $12.99- $13.99, prior to tax (personalization is included). When I saw the 2017 blue baby ornament (also available in pink), I knew that, that was the ornament I had to get for my nephew (here's hoping my brother and sister in law get a tree this year). I ended up getting 2 of these ornaments becasue I also wanted to get one for a good friend of mine who had her first child (a boy) a few weeks after my nephew was born. So I brought these ornaments over to the register. This employee told me that I could do a few things with the ornaments. She said that I could have the baby's name written on the hat and then have a message written on the white ribbon on the bottom of the ornament or I could just have the baby's name written on the white ribbon. Not realizing that I could have the name on the hat, I opted for that option. So on the hat, the baby's name was written and on the ribbon, I had "1st Christmas" written. The price of these 2 ornaments cost me $28.45 after tax. I was told that it would take 5-10 minutes and will need to have my receipt with me for pick up. I told her that I was just sitting at the chairs directly across from this pop up and said I will just come back. When she was done, this friendly employee came up to me and told me that my ornaments were ready. I really am very happy and pleased with the handwritting and personalization. I am so excited to give these gifts to my family and to my friends and can't wait to see their faces when they open these special keepsake gifts. By the way, all sales are final (no exchanges or returns). There is also a special that if you purchase 5 ornaments, you can get 1 free (but they are a bit pricey, so purchasing 5 is bit out of my reach but maybe not for you because you are so fancy and thoughtful).
