It was dark but he had a light and obviously the part we needed because he was done in less than an hour. What a nice surprise these days to have such great service! I highly recommend this company.

But come the heating season things rapidly changed. Today is 1/1/23 and not ones did the heating unit switch automatically from HP to GF. I have had to always do that manually. I have contacted Rick over and over again. He did show up a couple of times but never did fix the actually problem. He did manage however to make me feel stupid. I believe that I do not have to understand how these mechanics work but should be able to rely on the professional that I hired. (wonder if he would treat me better if I would not be a foreign, single older woman) Now there is a new problem with the thermostat, which likes to turn to the highest degrees allotted on in the middle of the night on recovery mode. Last little twist on this, now Yancy's is suddenly not available on any e-mail offered on their website or that was used in the past. They all were returned, the recipient address rejected. Text messages sent go unanswered. Tell me just what can I do ?

I wasn't sure exactly what type of replacement I wanted; tank less or traditional. Jimmy was upfront and honest with all the options and explanations. I really appreciated that, and it helped me make a decision I was happy with. My old natural gas tank heater was 40 gallons. I always felt there wasn't enough hot water even with just 3 people in the home, probably because it was supporting a 3 story brown stone. Jimmy found a nice 50 gallon one, and scheduled next day installation. His team was on time, courteous, asked for water shut off location, and began the install. I was upstairs doing work. Couple hours later, he let me know it was all done and walked me through the work and the new electronic gas and pilot control unit on the new system. He even installed a new ball valve and gas valve at no extra charge. A boiler system requires a service technician that has a knowledge of not only the regularities of plumbing but in the case of boilers, a keen awareness of their functionality. We contacted Rob Passino, Owner/ Tech of ASRP as we were having issues with the system not working correctly at all. Rob, came over and performed a complete and thorough assessment of our system. He then explained, in language we could understand, and actually showing in great detail what our problems were. Both circulators were old and one stopped working and needed to be replaced and we wanted purge circulator flanges installed in order to successfully purge air out of the heating zones in the future. His transparency was a welcome relief. We knew before he started the approximate cost and variables that may change the cost. He did not "hush us away" when he started the project and would answer any questions we asked. The work was OK, but our general contractor had to compensate for some things he didn't do. Billington's time at the house was a little over 12 hours, but the office billed us for 20 hours. We asked for an explanation and the response was that they have time at the supply house getting materials if they are not at the job location. We felt that the rounding up of hours, the number of hours at the supply house getting materials, and the number of hours listening to stories about the Billington's change in diet are excessive. We recently replaced a piece of necessary plumbing equipment. All appeared status quo with no issues. A month later, on a trip downstairs to a seldom used storage room beneath the new fixture, I find we've added a 'swimming pool' - a flooded mess of ruined paint, sheet rock soaked requiring a tear out down to the studs. A call to Billington, the contractor who'd handled the install, was met with not, "We'll be out right away!" But a promise to come by in a few days. Upon arriving a few days later, we were told they didn't have the right tools to address the situation and would be back. Four days later having heard nothing we had to call again. Once again, several days went by until they were able to come out. At that time, it was denial city - it became the house's fault due to it's "age"...and it was the existing piping that was now, "outdated" and "should've been replaced" before installing a new XYZ...As we had been hanging around, waiting for Billington to come back out and address the situation, we had called in not only a handyman, but another local(see my other reviews) plumbing company to take a look at this situation as we weren't sure Billington was ever going to return. We were advised, that there was nothing wrong with the existing piping, and it appears that the problem was installation using the incorrect parts. I get it - mistakes happen, and had the response been a prompt, " we'll take care of it" I would've been not only impressed but more than willing to hire them if needed in the future. And while they did correct the issue, they were bold enough to suggest us filing a homeowners claim for the ancillary damage and made no offer to pay for the repairs to the sheet rock, woodwork, etc. So we'll be footing that bill as well. Lesson learned!

These guys are amazing! I found Bell Energy Systems Team on Yelp when I was searching for companies…read morethat could replace my 20yr old furnace and AC. Let me give you a quick background: Since this is my first house and my first time replacing the furnace and AC, I wanted to get 5 different quotes from different companies around Saratoga so I would have plenty of choice. I got the exact same story from each company - they would come in to my house for 5 minutes, look at my furnace for a second, then they'd leave and I'd get a quote to my email like a week later...then I'd never hear from them again. I felt like this was as "good" as it got - no one really cared about my business and I would be stuck with trying to find the "least horrible" company. Then, I contacted Bell Energy Systems and everything changed. I worked with Nick at Bell Energy - he was incredible! I called him to ask for a quote and within an hour he was over at my house walking me through what I should be considering. He took extra effort to explain all of the options I had, why going for the ultra-expensive units was a waste of money, and helped guide me to the perfect unit. Before I decided to sign the contract with Nick, I emailed him about 15 different times and he replied back within a hour or two (even at night and on the weekends) - amazing responsiveness!! Nick's pricing was ultra-competitive and he ended up giving me the best price by far! I got the exact brand and unit I wanted for a price that I couldnt believe! When the install day came, Nick and his team were here right on time. They were incredibly professional - I have a newborn baby and his team make extra effort to be quite so they wouldnt disturb the baby when he was sleeping. They left the basement cleaner than how I had it before they arrived and they were done quite quickly. Nick took me downstairs and showed me everything they did, what I should be aware of, and how to ensure everything stays in top condition. He even gave me the install guide (100 pages), with his highlights throughout to show how he tuned the system - WOW!!! After the installation my wife had a question about the system and Nick came over the next day to show her how to configure the thermostat. Hiring Bell Energy Systems Team was by far the best decision I could have ever made. I got exactly what I wanted, for an amazing price, with the best customer service (pre and post sale) that I have ever received. To make a long story short, you owe it to yourself to call Bell Energy Systems - you wont be sorry!!
