She is so good at what she does and I always have optimal results with her treatments (e.g., photofacials, laser hair removal, microneedling, hydrafacials, etc). Kaitlinn and Jennifer have worked together to give me a manageable skincare routine that has, in some cases, given me immediate results. Hair thinning / loss 2. Rash on my torso 1. (Hair Loss) I'll include the before and after photos of 1 year going to Gavino and you'll be shocked at the difference. I had been going to a couple of different dermatologists before, but felt I was always getting a surface level treatment. When finally finding Gavino, I was surprised at the level of treatment they provide. I was prescribed 2 oral medications and a shampoo. I told Dr. Gavino how I had been on finasteride, and topical minoxidil before but saw okay results. He informed me he preferred oral minoxidil instead of topical to prevent breakage in my already thinning hair (bonus because taking the oral medication is SO much easier) and later added a new medication to boost my hair treatment. It's been 1 year and my hair is INSANELY healthier now, and the loss has completely been stopped. I plan on doing PRP at their clinic to continue to boost my hairs health, and will update later this year. 2. Rash - Super simple but again, I was able to get a quick appointment, determined what it was, and prescribed a cream that knocked it out in literally 2 days. Their office is definitely a cut above, and I'll breakdown what I've seen so far. - Texting only facility, which it's 2026 and I think just about everyone is tired of getting spam calls so this is a breath of fresh air - Staff is awesome! They're great at their jobs, smooth, professional, and extremely efficient - Gavino is the best dermatologist I've worked with! The guy actually gets things done, and has exceeded my expectations to where I've recommended him to friends that live hours away. Charismatic but also extremely knowledgeable to where he has walked me through the treatment plan and answered any and all of my questions! If you're still reading this review you're either really looking for someone good, or work at their office LOL all in all as a current patient, I cannot recommend them enough for your dermatology needs.

Some people don't know that doing this can make you resistant to antibiotics. I don't like that you can't talk directly to him with a question after a surgery and a diagnosis that you don't understand. You must text which is very odd. Or he wants a picture sent . She was very thorough and wanted to make me as comfortable as she could, so she gave me samples of some medications and made sure that she sent my prescriptions to different pharmacies to keep the costs down. Traumatic experience and shocking lack of basic clinical standards with Dr. Stephanie Youssef ENT…read moreSpecialist of Austin. I came to ENT Specialists of Austin for what should have been a standard clinical evaluation. During the exam, Dr. Youssef grabbed my tongue with gauze and yanked it so violently to the side that the tissue tore and started bleeding right there in the exam chair. The pain was immediate and excruciating. For several days afterward, my tongue and throat were swollen, and I couldn't swallow without sharp pain or eat solid food. What made the visit completely surreal was the lack of proper medical equipment. Instead of using a sterile ENT scope or a dedicated clinical camera, Dr. Youssef literally grabbed my personal cell phone, turned on the flashlight, and held my unsterilized phone right in front of my open, bleeding mouth to take pictures. Aggressive physical handling, painful recovery, and zero regard for sterile technique. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for ENT care and avoiding Dr. Youssef.

They're very organized and even the doctors come out and call for their patient which I was extremely impressed by!!!! I would nearly guarantee you that is a typical!! So if it looks like a team and smells like a team and quacks like a team it is a team! They have an app and so you can complete the majority of your paperwork other than the Hyppa consent before you go for your appointment and save yourself about 20 minutes worth of paper. That's what I did. It wasn't difficult. When I called for the appointment they told me they would send me a link and they did indeed. We arrived about 10 minutes early and waited probably a total of 20 minutes before I was called back by one of the techs. He went over with me verbally- my symptoms and my concerns. We did some testing with advanced equipment-it seems like it gets more able every year.... and I'm sure it measured my I took photos of my corny is etc. etc. it also did the refractory testing and although you still had to answer one or two or three or one..... it was minimal and that's always my least favorite part. He also put the drops in my eyes so that they would dilate as I hadn't had a dilated exam in quite some time and my baby cataracts are bothering me quite a bit. After the machine he put me in an exam room and let me know that we were waiting for an actual room where I would eventually see the doctor and that he would come and retrieve me which he did. It might've been a 10 minute wait if that, it wasn't bad at all. He then brought me back out to the waiting room so that another gentleman could call me in on the other end of the building. He took me to another machine which was some kind of advanced photography of my ophthalmic system. I felt bad for him because he was squirming all over stooping to get these pictures, turns out that a patient's family member had borrowed his chair for the family members exam so that they could sit down during it which left him hanging in the wind. I asked him if he was OK and he advised that he just had done a huge work out yesterday and so his calves and thighs were really sore so when he had to squat it made him squirm. He was very nice and professional and always had a smile on his face. After that exam I was taken into an office to await my appointment with Chelsea Devitt. I believe she is an optometrist. She introduced herself along with the person that was going to record all of her comments right into my record. I find all this high-tech awesome and love they are not wasting paper!!! After a brief introduction she advised me she would be doing the exam and then would review everything with me when she was done but that she would be talking throughout so that the person at the computer could document everything. I agreed and she proceeded. She gave me a very thorough eye exam and even went and got her headgear so she would have the brightest light available to check out the lattice work on my retina's which I had had laser treatment for when I was a preteen. It was kind of neat that the text did all the preliminary so that she could focus on the clinical aspect. When done we did have a discussion and we talked about my cataracts and I told her that they indeed were bothering me substantially but that if they didn't meet Medicare criteria I would wait because I was not going to pay out-of-pocket to have them removed. She said they are nearly at the point And that at this time next year she sure they would be eligible for surgery. She understood that considering I pay for insurance that I didn't want to also have to pay out of pocket for the removal. I appreciated that she didn't push or question that. She then asked me if I wanted a written prescription, which I did and she then gave me directions on how to get back to the front and dismissed me. I got out to the reception area with no problem. I was totally shocked when they asked me if I wanted a written prescription because it would be $45. I have never had to pay separately for a prescription in my entire life. I know they build my insurance for the exam and I guess at all the other places I went it was included. I did want it in case I wanted to get new glasses as my other prescription was expired so I did pay the $45. They printed the rx out and gave it to me. We set an appointment for next year at this time which I may or may not have to change but why not. I was very impressed and was shocked to determine that I had been in there for two hours. I would definitely recommend it and I am glad that I am reestablished with a local optometrist and someone that can take care of my Cataracs when they are ready!!!!
