CJ's Kitchen is amazing, from the minute you walk in. Cute decorations nice music in the background, and it's not loud. Thee hostess and concierge were very nice and they seated us right away. Thee ambience of this place is wonderful. The presentation of your drinks and food really sets the mood for your dining experience. We ordered the raspberry balsamic crispy, bacon brussels sprouts, they were amazing, great flavor good texture. They have a nice bar and wine selection. For our entrée, he got the 16 ounce Ribeye with a loaded baked potato , they brought his ribeye out with herbs and butter on top of it and then they charred it at the table on top to melt the butter and herbs into the meat , and I ordered the Shrimp Difalco , wow ! It had such wonderful flavor. We also ordered for dessert thee crème brûlée wonderful flavor. I can't express how wonderful it is to have such a nice restaurant in Choctaw. We highly recommend coming here and we suggest reservations.

Found a new favorite place! Delicious food. Enjoyed a smoky Old Fashion. I had the steak DiFalco which outstanding! Our waitress answered any questions, the service was great. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable.

The service is impeccable. And the food!!! OMG, the food is delicious. I can't get over how good everything is. The bread and cherry butter. The chicken parm. And the chocolate cake for dessert. Best meal in Oklahoma I've had in 3 years.

We returned to CJ's Kitchen for dinner this evening and it was just as good if not better than the our first visit when they opened! Outstanding food & service! Several new entrees and sides have already been added to the menu. The bread they bring to your table before your meal is like the brown bread served @ Cheesecake Factory - it comes out warm and accompanied by cinnamon butter. We both chose the Wedge Salads to start and they were fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the Ribeye and added the Sauteed Mushrooms in Red Wine (that normally come on top of the NY Strip). It was cooked perfectly, tender & tasteful. I selected the grilled Mahi Mahi (new menu item) and it was topped lightly with a delicate and delectable sauce. The Brussels Sprouts I had last time were out of this world but I wanted to try something different so chose the Baked Sweet Potato (another new menu item) as my side - it was topped with butter & browned marshmallows! So good! Our delightful server, Makayla, boxed up our leftovers for us and we'll have another wonderful meal at home. The manager and/or the owners try to 'touch all the tables' each evening to check on the diners and tonight was no exception - they welcome questions and comments from their customers, as any new restaurant or business goes through a process of learning and growing. We were there from 5-6 pm and the restaurant was almost full when we left - and Tuesdays are usually a slow night for restaurants! Reservations are no longer necessary, but still advisable on the weekends. Another great fine dining experience in Choctaw and we already know what we want to order next time! If you haven't checked out CJ's Kitchen yet, what are you waiting for?!

Great food and great service! Erick does a great job and if the weather is mild, the patio is fun.

There are many Saturday markets in the metro area, but this Friday Night Market is the fun one! There was an area for kids hosted by the Library with arts & crafts, books & such, a playground nearby and the Face Painting booth was a big hit as well! Kids of all ages also really enjoyed Big Tony's Shaved Ice truck! There were yummy food trucks (Rollin' Smoke BBQ & Fuego Tacos) and the Big Friendly Beer Bus was popular too. Over 40 vendors were offering everything from home-baked breads, dog cookies & desserts, homemade BBQ sauces, salsas, jams & jellies, raw honey, fresh eggs, produce, herbs, plants/flowers, handmade jewelry, lovely paintings, handcrafted decor, artisan soaps & bath bombs, apothecary creams & ointments, baskets, wreaths, quilted items, bat & bird houses, fairy wands, teas, flavored popcorns, knife-sharpening, you name it! I think the all-things-lavender booth was my favorite though! The Market is open from 6-8pm every Friday night and the vendors and food trucks will vary some each week. Parking is plentiful and dogs are welcomed. There are some picnic tables if you need to set a spell to rest or eat. There is a permanent park bathroom nearby and also a few porta-potties. Be sure to checkout the lovely Monarch Waystation butterfly garden in the park too! There is a nice walking trail that meanders throughout the park and a basketball "hoops area" near the big pavilion. A few helpful tips - 1) come early to get a good parking space and also because the "bread ladies" (Homestead Baking, Burress Homestead, King's Family Homestead) sell out quickly! 2) bring a shopping bag (or maybe a wagon) to carry all the great goodies you find! 3) bring some cash as many vendors accept credit cards but some are not set up for that - you also need cash to buy raffle tickets! (this market does not charge the vendors a fee, but they each donate an item from their booth to be raffled off in goodie baskets at the end of the night - I love this concept!) Farmers' markets are such a great way to get outside with your neighbors to support local farmers & artisans, as well as your community - I can't wait to go back next week! #shoplocal
