Maybe it's the chicken that makes it so good; the salads come with a very generous portion of chicken. But it's also the ranch that really brings the salad together. My son also really likes the chicken sandwich. The service can be hit or miss, but on our recent visit, our waitress was very personable and attentive. This restaurant is a good place for groups because they usually have tables pushed together to accommodate larger parties.

We were there over an hour waiting for our medium rare steaks to come out. We had to ask for our salads to come out before our meal which took about 20 minutes for a side salad to come out they didnt have crackers for a salad or croutons. When the meal came out the steaks had no seasoning on it not even salt. The potatoes were thick no butter or seasoning in them just a little bacon and we had to ask for extra of it and some cheese. No sour cream on it or chives. The only thing that had flavor was the garlic bread. My sons chicken stripes were black from the oil in the fryer needing changed. The waitress was nice but the service was not great. The food was not good. Would not recommend.

At Boomarang Diner, it feels like home the moment you step in. The welcoming atmosphere combined with friendly staff makes it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends and family. For my lunch, I chose their famous Chicken Fried Steak, which was cooked to perfection. The crispy breading on the outside and tender, juicy meat inside made each bite incredibly satisfying. Served with a side of creamy gravy, it was a delightful explosion of flavors in my mouth. As if that wasn't enough, I also sampled their Fried Pickles and Fried Mushrooms. The pickles had just the right amount of tanginess, and the batter provided a satisfying crunch. The fried mushrooms were equally impressive, with their golden exterior and tender insides. Both appetizers were the perfect complements to my main course. If you're in the mood for some good old-fashioned comfort food, I highly recommend paying a visit to Boomarang Diner. I've driven by that location many times over the years and never noticed the restaurant. It does sit toward the back of the property behind and to the north of the Sinclair service station. The restaurant is typical small town; a throwback to another era before the explosion of chain restrauants. We were greeted by Curtis who opened the restrauant 47 years ago. The venue is causal and relaxed. The menu features all you can eat catfish for $14.95 and comes with a garden salad and two sides and a small bowl of pinto beans and hot roll. The menu has a variety of Southern comfort items such as fried chicken livers which one of my friends ordered. I ordered the all you can eat fried shrimp, with fries and fried okra.
