    Crooked sewing
    Toni S.

She filters her reviews!! Pictures attached Extremely rude, unskilled, overpriced. Hemmed a bridesmaids dress almost 2 inches too short and STAINED IT! She had to change her shoes to flats.. absolutely terrible. We asked her to clean it since she stained it-- she didn't. Still charged full price. Wedding dress- Every fitting was a disaster... 1. Hemmed crooked, left holes in the stitching 2. She took in the dress, then told me I was too heavy for the dress and needed to pull it over my head on the wedding day. Told me I need to lose weight a week before my wedding.. 3. Used purple pen on the dress that didn't come out 4. Uses cheap snaps for the train. (Doesn't hold) 5. Charged $1000!!!!! 6. Her office is disgusting. There's barley room to get into the dress, and her workspace is on a stack of clothes that looks like garage sale pile-- cluttered and sloppy. Thank god I took the dress to someone that was actually skilled.. she fixed the dress in 1 day for 1/5 of the price! You spend too much on your wedding dress for her to destroy it and collect $1000. Asked her numerous times to fix it.. even took a family member that sews to show her what was doing wrong.

    Party ready!

Ms. Cherney is absolutely fabulous and such a Blessing to have in our community. She has altered suits for my husband and sons on several occasions and is so sweet and professional. She is extremely talented with her sewing abilities and her work is quality. Thank you, Ms. Cherney!

Cherney saved the day for my wedding! She altered my wedding dress during a time when every seamstress told me no or it would take too long or was too complicated. She took her time to find out what I expected from my alterations and how I wanted my dress to fit. She wrote out all the details on an invoice and gave me a price breakdown for everything we discussed. The price never changed and all the work we discussed was completed exactly as she said in the time frame she promised. She was very organized in a scheduling my automated appointments. She's was such a wonderful person to work with and she made me feel so comfortable. She truly has a passion for her work and making others feel special.

Can this place make me a dress?

    If anyone can she can!!

Has any one come to this place to get pants tapered?

I haven't had pants done yet but she redid my senior ball dress from the 80's and made it new and current again...she's brilliant

So far so good! Was recommended to come here, and had seen good reviews for wedding alterations…read morealready, so I decided to bring my wedding dress here. Before I went, I also called to ask them how much it would be for a cleaning, and they quoted me for $185. I don't remember how much it costs for the preservation box, but they do offer that, as well. Price was accurate when I came to the shop. I always wonder if I'm getting ripped off when I go to the dry cleaners because the prices aren't always clear, so I was glad it was the same. The shop just says "Cleaners" for their sign on the outside, but inside it does say Tailor John Cleaners. Large parking lot, it's near the CVS that closed, and the Big Lots that also closed. Shop is very clean. The woman helping me was very friendly. I was told the dress would be ready in 1 week. Payment is due when I pick up. I appreciate that because I can ensure that the cleaning is what I can reasonably expect before paying. A little over a week, I hadn't heard about my dress being ready for pickup, so I called and they confirmed it was ready. When I picked up my dress, it was an older gentleman helping me. He was also very friendly. I found the dress was cleaned to my satisfaction. Overall, it was a good experience getting my dress cleaned here and I would definitely recommend!

The young lady who runs the counter at that one is SO incredibly polite, cheerful, and professional. I hope the owner appreciates her wonderful customer service skills! The pricing is, I guess, fairly on par with most other cleaners. I've brought in a wide variety of items and have been very happy with the quality of the cleaning and condition of my garments at pick up. They have been ready when promised. I've never requested same-day or quick cleaning; items are usually ready within 2-3 days. Would recommend!

Came back at 11am on Saturday. She said come back at three because she hasn't even worked on it. Came back at three she only had two dress shirts done. When I finally got all three I was so excited, but one was cut way too short. It was kind of rushed and sloppily done. I should've trusted my gut instinct and she should've trusted hers too and turned me away. Do not get your dress shirts sleeves hemmed here. I've had dress shirt sleeve hemmed elsewhere and they were done a lot better. I should've gone to where I went before but it was just a little further than where I wanted to go. I wouldn't go here again. Paid about $45 to get three dress shirts done. I can't say much about the cleaning service tho.

These guys overcharged me. I brought in two coats. One of them was a medium sized coat as it fits…read moreme at the hip but they charged me $25 each when the price advertised should have been $16 for the medium coat. I was willing to pay for it anyway as I don't want to drive around to other dry cleaning places since I was already inside their store. Upon paying a guy tells me one of my coats has a 50/50 chance that the buttons can be damaged because it looks like plastic. I didn't want to take the risk with them so took the coat back. I don't understand how a coat that's labeled 'dry clean only' on the tag cannot be safely cleaned at a dry cleaners? Isn't it their job to clean it safely because otherwise what is the point of having dry cleaning service? So I decided to only leave one coat with them instead. When I went to pick it up on the day it was due which was four days later it looked awful. Lint everywhere and it looked the exact same as I dropped it off. It's as if they just sprayed my coat with perfume and threw it in the plastic bag. What a half azzed dry cleaning job! They didn't even bother to use a lint roller to take out the white lint off my coat. I could have saved $25 and washed the coat myself and use a lint roller. Which was what I did with the other coat that they denied AFTER I GOT HOME FROM THEIR STORE. The buttons did not damage in the wash either. I will not be back. Edit: Listen, why would I lie about my review? I don't have a motive to lie and ruin your business. All you needed to do is a better job. I know you have to tell me the buttons can be damaged to protect yourself. I understand that and Im not willing to risk it. But my family used to work at a dry cleaners and they cover the buttons with foil so they don't look like they do a half azzed job. If you don't see any white lint on a blue jacket you might need glasses. And also why would I say anything while I was at your store? I never threw my coat in the washer and dryer before taking it to your place of business so how would I know? I said I washed it myself after you didn't think you can clean it properly. I was there on a Monday and picked up on Thursday. There was no holiday. Correct, I am not the owner but you as the owner you need to change the prices on your sign because you are committing false advertising. This is not no third world country proving service on the street and making up any price you want. You are the liar and a fraud.

She did say it can be done but it does cost $10. I said that's fine. She took some measurements then gave me some pants, they were a bit baggy. She ended up giving me two more to try one until I found a good fit. After that we walked to the checkout line and I paid the $10 then she gave me my measurement chart. Oh boy was I in for a negative experience and the more I think about it. The worse it got. Upon arrival: there's no one to greet at the door. There's a sign further in that says "scan this QR code for wait list." I was number 1. People came in and staff walked by and saw them and went to them. What is the point of a wait list if staff don't use it? They just go to whatever patient they see first. I waited maybe 5-10min. Was met by a staff. I said I needed a standard black suit. He measured my wingspan and my chest/bust. And then grabbed a coat for me to try. The sizing was off. Shoulders were very poofy. He provided no feedback. He did not give any opinion. My friend and I didn't like this one. So he said okay. Then he grabbed another one. Again no feedback. I would half expect you to provide some feedback. This is your job. But you have no knowledge on the material. The fit. How it should look. What I should expect. Etc. things that I don't know which is why I come to a place such as men's warehouse. Is it his fault or is it men's warehouse fault for lack of training? Then we went over pricing. The jacket cost something like $350. The pants another $100. And then it's like $20 for every different alterations. So his recommendation was to get a custom suit because it's cheaper and free tailor for life. Those suits start at $500. Why does a custom suit cost the same as what's on the rack? Seems like a scam or a false price just to push for these so called custom suits.
