Last minute alterations...right before prom. So thankful for their quickness, attention to detail, and kindness. We're so relieved.

Wonderful service...welcoming and quick too. She saved the day by altering my daughter's dress

I use this place to do all my dry cleaning on regular use clothing. They just raised their price to 3.79 for dry cleaning. I only dry clean. I don't laundry anything. I feel dry cleaning makes the clothes last longer. The price is still the best in town. However for any of my more expensive clothing I go to another cleaner for the safety of those clothing. They don't do well with anything handing from the clothing or lacey stuff. Some of my wife's clothing has been ruined before. So anything pricey I take it to another cleaner. For the most part everyday clothing gets cleaned perfect and for a good price. We come here almost every week so it does save us money and for the most part I am happy with them.

Trousers were hemmed to proper length and taken in at the waist. Very happy to have selected Fresh Cleaners in Elk Grove

Fresh Cleaners will be my default clothing alterations and cleaning services. They did NOT disappoint. I am very happy with the results of my Marine Corps Blues project they completed.

The drawstrings are two separate pieces of string. So when they damaged one they couldn't pull it through to hide damage

I've been going to this cleaner for a couple years now and finally gave up on them. This is why: first they lost a blazer that I had with leather sleeves. They did compensate me with money for what the blazer cost. I've seen other people write reviews that they've lost clothes as well. KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU DROP OFF. Since then I chose to no longer drop off clothes in their bag and they inventory them when I drop them off; the lady who works there has been understanding since the incident, but the man was rude and instructed me to drop off the bag in the future; which I refused to do. The second issue is when they cleaned a skirt that was floral with a white side. When I got it back, the white parts were a dingy beige color. It's not white like it used to be. I took a photo next to a white shirt for reference. I noticed my white clothes were getting dingy as well. Turns out after doing research I discovered this happens when a dry cleaner recycles their cleaning solution too many times. So yeah, THEY ARE CLEANING YOUR CLOTHES WITH DIRTY SOLUTION. Another reviewer mentioned her white coat came back dingy, too. Finally, and this was the last straw, I dropped off two zippered satin sweatshirts to be cleaned. I never wore them and had just purchased them so nothing was damaged. I took them to the cleaners because they were delicate. Well the hardware came back scratched/ dented and one of the drawstrings completely lost the hardware. So they tied a knot and now it's uneven (the drawstrings aren't connected so you can't pull it through and reposition it). I would have given them credit if they would have told me THEY DAMAGED MY CLOTHING but they chose to say nothing. Over all this place cuts corners, doesn't seem to use clean solution, and is very rough with delicate items. I won't be returning. I only gave one star because you have to and because they compensated me for the lost blazer. Avoid this place if you can.

I dropped off several items for cleaning. One of which was an expensive, Michael Kors peacoat that I've only had for a month. I wore it once, someone spilled something on, so I took it to Fresh Cleaners along with several other items to get it cleaned. I can say that they are fast. I dropped my items off on Tuesday and was told they would be ready for pick up on Saturday. Received a text two days later saying my order was ready. When I looked at my new coat, the texture of the coat was completely different. There were several strings hanging from the coat and belt, and the tag on the jacket was dyed a completely different color. None of which occurred before I dropped my coat off. Not to mention, the customer service was horrible. When I went to pick up my order, the lady tried to charge me $149 for my items. When I mentioned the receipt I was given at time of drop off said $137, she rolled her eyes, grabbed my order, changed the price and just pointed at the card reader. Completely rude. I haven't examined my other items yet because I'm terrified they ruined those also.

As you can see, the inseam and crotch was not adjusted or taken in as a result the crotch area is extremely low. No measurements were taken.

Brought a pair of pants to be pressed and hemmed. The hem was done perfectly. The pressing was crisp. Nice staff.

They were nice and professional. However, they never got the stain out of my suit after a few times.

Quick service, great work, and fair prices. I needed to get a few pants hemmed and to dry clean a couple of wool sweaters.

The comforter had a tear in it and I dropped it off asking just for a dry clean.

So far so good! Was recommended to come here, and had seen good reviews for wedding alterations…read morealready, so I decided to bring my wedding dress here. Before I went, I also called to ask them how much it would be for a cleaning, and they quoted me for $185. I don't remember how much it costs for the preservation box, but they do offer that, as well. Price was accurate when I came to the shop. I always wonder if I'm getting ripped off when I go to the dry cleaners because the prices aren't always clear, so I was glad it was the same. The shop just says "Cleaners" for their sign on the outside, but inside it does say Tailor John Cleaners. Large parking lot, it's near the CVS that closed, and the Big Lots that also closed. Shop is very clean. The woman helping me was very friendly. I was told the dress would be ready in 1 week. Payment is due when I pick up. I appreciate that because I can ensure that the cleaning is what I can reasonably expect before paying. A little over a week, I hadn't heard about my dress being ready for pickup, so I called and they confirmed it was ready. When I picked up my dress, it was an older gentleman helping me. He was also very friendly. I found the dress was cleaned to my satisfaction. Overall, it was a good experience getting my dress cleaned here and I would definitely recommend!

I've been to both locations in Elk Grove. I prefer the location at the corner of Waterman and Elk…read moreGrove Blvd as it's more convenient to me. The young lady who runs the counter at that one is SO incredibly polite, cheerful, and professional. I hope the owner appreciates her wonderful customer service skills! The pricing is, I guess, fairly on par with most other cleaners. I've brought in a wide variety of items and have been very happy with the quality of the cleaning and condition of my garments at pick up. They have been ready when promised. I've never requested same-day or quick cleaning; items are usually ready within 2-3 days. Would recommend!

Had the sleeves of dress shirts hemmed. The lady didn't seem confident. I should have gone…read moresomewhere else. Left it on Tuesday. She said to come back on Saturday. Came back at 11am on Saturday. She said come back at three because she hasn't even worked on it. Came back at three she only had two dress shirts done. When I finally got all three I was so excited, but one was cut way too short. It was kind of rushed and sloppily done. I should've trusted my gut instinct and she should've trusted hers too and turned me away. Do not get your dress shirts sleeves hemmed here. I've had dress shirt sleeve hemmed elsewhere and they were done a lot better. I should've gone to where I went before but it was just a little further than where I wanted to go. I wouldn't go here again. Paid about $45 to get three dress shirts done. I can't say much about the cleaning service tho.

These guys overcharged me. I brought in two coats. One of them was a medium sized coat as it fits…read moreme at the hip but they charged me $25 each when the price advertised should have been $16 for the medium coat. I was willing to pay for it anyway as I don't want to drive around to other dry cleaning places since I was already inside their store. Upon paying a guy tells me one of my coats has a 50/50 chance that the buttons can be damaged because it looks like plastic. I didn't want to take the risk with them so took the coat back. I don't understand how a coat that's labeled 'dry clean only' on the tag cannot be safely cleaned at a dry cleaners? Isn't it their job to clean it safely because otherwise what is the point of having dry cleaning service? So I decided to only leave one coat with them instead. When I went to pick it up on the day it was due which was four days later it looked awful. Lint everywhere and it looked the exact same as I dropped it off. It's as if they just sprayed my coat with perfume and threw it in the plastic bag. What a half azzed dry cleaning job! They didn't even bother to use a lint roller to take out the white lint off my coat. I could have saved $25 and washed the coat myself and use a lint roller. Which was what I did with the other coat that they denied AFTER I GOT HOME FROM THEIR STORE. The buttons did not damage in the wash either. I will not be back. Edit: Listen, why would I lie about my review? I don't have a motive to lie and ruin your business. All you needed to do is a better job. I know you have to tell me the buttons can be damaged to protect yourself. I understand that and Im not willing to risk it. But my family used to work at a dry cleaners and they cover the buttons with foil so they don't look like they do a half azzed job. If you don't see any white lint on a blue jacket you might need glasses. And also why would I say anything while I was at your store? I never threw my coat in the washer and dryer before taking it to your place of business so how would I know? I said I washed it myself after you didn't think you can clean it properly. I was there on a Monday and picked up on Thursday. There was no holiday. Correct, I am not the owner but you as the owner you need to change the prices on your sign because you are committing false advertising. This is not no third world country proving service on the street and making up any price you want. You are the liar and a fraud.
