Emily gave me a trade in quote yesterday regarding their trade in value for my vehicle versus my estimate, which I got from Carfax and which incorporated a repair cost. Emily quoted me $3,930 to repair a small dent on the side. We took it to two body shops and each quoted half that amount. Emily then passed me along to Brandon since she was about to take some time off. My last conversation with Emily was to compare the amount of money I'd need to borrow, plus my vehicle's trade in value, versus City Toyota's estimate. Theirs was $22,395 plus my truck. Mine was $19,895 plus my truck. When I met with Brandon today, I said I'd like to try and meet somewhere in the middle. He went back to the man behind the curtain who said, "our best offer, which I will not negotiate, is your truck plus $22,800" or something similar. Then they tried to argue that the "pulse brake light system" (which I don't want) was installed adds $500 to the price (which Emily never mentioned). Because my wife is TDY here with the base, we don't have the means to jack the car up and give it an oil change in my garage or driveway as I would usually do at my home. But for the past 6 months when in Great Falls, MT, we only Bring our Japanese car to City Toyota. I've been dealing with Trevor Tyler in the service department and he's been great. Today I came in after a month long road trip and Coke to find out Trevor no longer works here but now I deal with Jessup. Good kid, and I hope he lasts here at City Toyota, I'm sure he will, he like the rest of the back staff are all very great customer oriented people, that's why we kept coming back. The Lobby is really nice to sit and chill out while your car is being worked on. They have a free side machine and a lot of coffee to fill up on while you wait. I can see why there are little to no complaints here, I'm not over exaggerating when I say the people who work here are extremely nice and they will acknowledge you unlike many other places we have visited here in Great Falls. We definitely recommend comin get here for any Sevices and or if you need a brand new reliable Japanese car. The best brand, with the longest lasting motors in the business. I received a letter from the Toyota manufacturer that there was a factory recall on the paint job on my 2010 Rav 4. It took 3 months to get factory approval for the paint touch up where it had peeled off. Next I waited another 6 weeks to get on the schedule for a brake job and the paint repairs. As I was driving over 100 miles I was told there would be a loaner car for the trip home, the paint takes 3 days. I reminded the body shop of my appointment with the repair shop 3 weeks in advance to insure there would be a loaner for my drive home. When I arrived there was no loaner available, I could not get the work done, and re-scheduling the brakes would take another month or more. NOT too happy with the customer service. read more

The Worst. . The body shop manager was the worst I've ever seen. It has been 2 weeks of waiting on a part that she said would be in, in 2 days, and she has yet to call and let me know anything. In fact, she has never called me. 2 weeks ago I called there 3 times and left voice mails. I finally went up there and she was sitting at her desk, not working, eating a cookie, when she had 3 voice mails on her phone from me. I told her what I needed, a new bumper on my 2017 Lexus 460. She said she'd have the part in 2 days, and she'd call me that day to let me know that she ordered it and exactly when it'd be in. That was Monday 10/19. I had to call her the next day and said she'd just then ordered it and it should be in Wednesday. I called her Wednesday and she she wouldn't know until 4pm. I haven't called back. I'll take it to Houston where I'm from and have a real dealership take care of it. read more

I was happy with them and my purchase up until I found out the Auto Armor did not cover what I thought it did and the body shop was no help! If your are considering purchasing the Auto Armor protection reconsider. We purchased it to help protect the exterior of the car, I have several small paint chips on the car (2017) and called the body shop to see if it was covered. Was told "no, not covered" total rip off! The person I spoke to didn't even look at the car. And I also needed new tires for the car at 18K miles though it was a new car that was purchased. Therefore, just stay away from the Auto Armor protection as it will cover NOTHING and be prepared to buy new tires for a brand new car in a year. read more

I bought my vehicle from this place brand new in 2018, and the sales rep was amazing. So I hate to do this but I brought my vehicle in for service on Dec. 24 2019 so a year and half later in regards to worn out tires. The tires were completely bald inside part of the tires so the camber was off. I haven't notice because when I bought my vehicle in for a oil change they didn't say anything. My van only has 22k and needs new tires. That's pretty ridiculous since tires usually last at least 40k. The service writer was no help and absolutely had no knowledge of their vehicles they sold. She just wanted me to buy tires and be happy about. The tires are worn out due to excessive negative camber and needs an alignment. Which she said wasn't covered! I will never come back here, and buy my vehicles somewhere else. read more

I've been having to jump through a lot of hoops with getting my car repaired. My son and I were in an accident in which both my passenger side doors on my Toyota Venza were damaged. Both are beyond working condition. The police ruled that the other driver was at fault so a claim was filed with the other parties insurance. After 2 weeks I called the insurance company about my claim and was told they have not received the police report. The insurance company (State Farm) used this excuse all the way up to the 8th week. Imagine how happy I was to get the go ahead to get the estimate. This is my only vehicle so it's a real inconvenience not having either passenger side door. My son has also been waiting for it to get fixed so he can take his driving test. I chose City Toyota as the place to get my car repaired. Why not, it's a Toyota dealership and who else would be able to get the right parts and match the paint correctly. When I arrived at City Toyota I ended up standing in the main building waiting for someone to help me for 20 minutes. I saw other customers sitting in the waiting area but no employees. I was just about to leave to find another repair shop when a gentleman came from the back and asked if I'd been taken care of. He had me drive out back where I met up with Mr. Isolino Ferreira. He did the estimate on my car. Mr Ferreira did a very good job finding all the damage. He even spotted a couple things that I didn't and I had 8 weeks to look it over lol. He was a great to work with and made the whole experience a lot more pleasurable. Thank you Mr Ferreira for not making excuses and making me jump through more hoops. As soon as they fix my car I will update this review. I was told it may not be till next month cause they are pretty busy. read more
