We use to buy our tires at Tire-Rama on 10th ave south, great falls. In fact, we just had them put a brand new set on one of our cars recently. Long story short, their google listing mentioned that Veterans Day could interrupt their hours. So I called ahead. The man that answered laughed me off the phone when I asked him if they were open today. I mentioned to him that it was Veterans day and that I was checking to see if they were open before sending my daughter down to get a tire fixed. He hung up laughing at me. Well, that tells me everything thing I need to know. I'm glad Les Schawbs is opening just few blocks down 10th. We have five cars, in our house, and our 5th gen Montana family and veterans are moving our business to Les Schwab.

(I had already used my spare) I slowly drove back into town, getting to this store 7 minutes before closing on a Friday. I was afraid I was going to be delayed overnight if not the entire weekend, but the crew there quickly assessed the damage, and got me set up with all the new tires I needed (two others were deteriorating badly), mounted, balanced and out the door in less than 25 minutes at a GREAT price. Not a single sigh or eye roll about staying late. Absolutely exceeded all expectations, thank you!!

The service team is great, the sales team is horrible. I bought a 2018 Jeep renegade trailhawk…read moreafter my 2015 trailhawk was totaled in an accident. The price was outrageous, but it had low mileage, And it had the navigation I have always wanted. Before driving off the lot I engaged the navigation it showed me in Canada and I live in Montana. I called over the salesman and he had no idea how to correct it, he asked more senior salesmen and they didn't know anything. It was getting late so I took it home , I followed the book and tried to reset it myself, no luck, called Mopar no luck, even called Serious. The next day the service dept suggested disconnecting the battery and that would create a reset. I took it back to Lithia and the did the reset, still no navigation. When I requested it be repaired LITHIA said they said they would have to CHECK THE WARRANTY. Really! This car was sold as a certified pre owned vehicle. Lithia then agreed to replace the navigation because it was covered by warranty. I also told them I had discovered a slash in the passenger side head rest, I also wanted that fixed. I was told by Lithia they would fix it for $495.00. I had the car for less than 2 weeks, but lithia kept insisting "how did they know if I didn't slash it". Fast forward, I went to pick up the car, spoke to service and they were never told about the headrest other than it need to be replaced. NO COMMUNICATION to service from sales . Service said they could find a cheaper one for $59.99 and the would pay half (I was in). I get ready to leave and a light comes on saying audio sound was not engaged. Thank God I didn't leave the lot, took it back to service they ran diagnostics and said the radio was bad it would have to be replaced. REALLY,THIS IS THE NEW NAV/RADIO THEY JUST PUT IN.  All I can say is don't leave the lithia lot until you do a detailed inspection with a magnifying glass and make sure everything is working the way you want . I never intended to get another car, but when I was hit and my car totaled I had no choice. If you go to LITHIA MOTOR IN GREAT FALLS BE CAREFUL!!!!

Called Midas on 03/25/2025 asked what it would cost to put front air shocks on 2017 Mercedes GLS…read more450 and was told that it would be around $300 to $400 because I had my own parts. They told me if I wanted they could get me in the next day if I brought it in early in the morning. I told them that I could do that and I brought my vehicle in that night and at 08:00am that next morning I brought the keys and gave it too the new shop manager. He asked did I have an appointment and I told him I called yesterday and spoked to a rep. who told me to bring it in this morning. The manger didn't find the appointment (my first red flag) but said he can get the job done just leave the keys. Midas called me at 2:08pm saying my vehicle was done and I could pick it up anytime. I went to pick up my vehicle at 5:38pm when my wife was off work and went in to pay for the service and get my keys, the shop manager ask how would I be paying debit, credit, etc., I told him debit and he said input your card into the reader, I was about to do that when I saw that the price for the service was $1105.68, I told him I was told that the service would be about $300 to $400 by the person I talked to and he said the job called for 4.2hrs labor and they charge $190 hr for labor plus the added wheel alignment, I told him that I was not told that and if I was other shops would have done it cheaper or I would have done it myself, but other shops had a longer wait time to get me in and the person I talked too told me a different price. The manager and I got into an argument about labor charges because no shop charges that much, even doctors don't charge that much. I even had him look up my Audi S5 that they put on a entire new exhaust on ( I bought my own parts for this also) and labor didn't cost that much, he pulled it up and he was smiling saying we charged you $240.00 for that job, I said right but, it took you 3 days to do it and that's all the labor you charged for 3 days work. He then gave me some credit for labor and took off the alignment and the final cost was $825.68 (still too much for having your own parts), beware of this place and the new manager, get your quote in writing before letting them work on your car.

If it would've…read morehappened to someone less assertive, they would've ended up at home with a car leaking oil all over the ground for the foreseeable future. Well taken care of few year old car with less than 50k miles. No leaks and needs nothing. Went in for oil change that cost over $100 due to requiring European spec oil. Took it home and parked the car for a few days while driving other cars. Saw signs of fluid leaking on the ground when I went to use it a week after the oil change. Looked like oil and covered an area approximately 12 inch by 20 inch. Saw drips of oil hanging off drain plug. Checked oil level before driving back just to make sure it was safe to drive. Took it back to the Valvoline oil change place and the first guy checked the oil and said that it was fine. I showed him photos I took of the pool of fluid. He said that was probably caused by some spilled fluid when the oil was changed. I said if it was a few drops I wouldn't have been back, but it was obviously a leak of some sort. He called the manager, who said it was normal and that he couldn't do anything about it. He proceeded to say that I needed to take it to a mechanic and that if the mechanic found that they did something wrong, that they would pay for it. I reasoned with the manager. Explained that my car is well taken care of with few miles and hasn't leaked a drop of anything for the past few years I've owned it. And that I choose to take it to his place because I expect better attention to detail than if I were to take it to Walmart for half the price. He suggested I take it home and let it sit for another week to see if anything changes. That frustrated me and I told him my best guess was that there was a bit of dirt or something that was causing the drain plug to not seal correctly. He asked me what I wanted him to do. I said that if he just drained the oil and re-cleaned the drain plug surface and re-filled the oil at least we would be able to rule that out. If that didn't fix it, I said that I'd take it to a mechanic even though it didn't make sense that it would happen directly after an oil change. He wasn't happy, but told his guys to just do another oil change. He walked off to take care of other things. They completed the oil change with no charges and I went on my way. Parked in a different portion of the driveway to keep an eye on it. Let it sit a few days, drove it a few days, let it sit again. Two weeks have passed and not 1 drip of oil or other fluid has hit the driveway. Confirms my suspicion that it was probably just a poorly sealed drain plug the first time. I have mixed feelings about it. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and wasn't upset that I had to go back to have it corrected. In the end, they did correct it at no additional cost to me. However I had to push for them to come through. They just wanted me to drive off and think that a pool of oil is "normal". If it happened to my wife, sister, daughter, etc they would've just accepted what the tech and manager said and gone home to live with a car now leaking oil daily. So I have mixed feelings and they did technically come through in the end. I guess the best question to answer would be = do I ever plan on taking any of my vehicles there again? And the answer to that is No.
