Well taken care of few year old car with less than 50k miles. No leaks and needs nothing. Went in for oil change that cost over $100 due to requiring European spec oil. Took it home and parked the car for a few days while driving other cars. Saw signs of fluid leaking on the ground when I went to use it a week after the oil change. Looked like oil and covered an area approximately 12 inch by 20 inch. Saw drips of oil hanging off drain plug. Checked oil level before driving back just to make sure it was safe to drive. Took it back to the Valvoline oil change place and the first guy checked the oil and said that it was fine. I showed him photos I took of the pool of fluid. He said that was probably caused by some spilled fluid when the oil was changed. I said if it was a few drops I wouldn't have been back, but it was obviously a leak of some sort. He called the manager, who said it was normal and that he couldn't do anything about it. He proceeded to say that I needed to take it to a mechanic and that if the mechanic found that they did something wrong, that they would pay for it. I reasoned with the manager. Explained that my car is well taken care of with few miles and hasn't leaked a drop of anything for the past few years I've owned it. And that I choose to take it to his place because I expect better attention to detail than if I were to take it to Walmart for half the price. He suggested I take it home and let it sit for another week to see if anything changes. That frustrated me and I told him my best guess was that there was a bit of dirt or something that was causing the drain plug to not seal correctly. He asked me what I wanted him to do. I said that if he just drained the oil and re-cleaned the drain plug surface and re-filled the oil at least we would be able to rule that out. If that didn't fix it, I said that I'd take it to a mechanic even though it didn't make sense that it would happen directly after an oil change. He wasn't happy, but told his guys to just do another oil change. He walked off to take care of other things. They completed the oil change with no charges and I went on my way. Parked in a different portion of the driveway to keep an eye on it. Let it sit a few days, drove it a few days, let it sit again. Two weeks have passed and not 1 drip of oil or other fluid has hit the driveway. Confirms my suspicion that it was probably just a poorly sealed drain plug the first time. I have mixed feelings about it. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and wasn't upset that I had to go back to have it corrected. In the end, they did correct it at no additional cost to me. However I had to push for them to come through. They just wanted me to drive off and think that a pool of oil is "normal". If it happened to my wife, sister, daughter, etc they would've just accepted what the tech and manager said and gone home to live with a car now leaking oil daily. So I have mixed feelings and they did technically come through in the end. I guess the best question to answer would be = do I ever plan on taking any of my vehicles there again? And the answer to that is No.

The price was outrageous, but it had low mileage, And it had the navigation I have always wanted. Before driving off the lot I engaged the navigation it showed me in Canada and I live in Montana. I called over the salesman and he had no idea how to correct it, he asked more senior salesmen and they didn't know anything. It was getting late so I took it home , I followed the book and tried to reset it myself, no luck, called Mopar no luck, even called Serious. The next day the service dept suggested disconnecting the battery and that would create a reset. I took it back to Lithia and the did the reset, still no navigation. When I requested it be repaired LITHIA said they said they would have to CHECK THE WARRANTY. Really! This car was sold as a certified pre owned vehicle. Lithia then agreed to replace the navigation because it was covered by warranty. I also told them I had discovered a slash in the passenger side head rest, I also wanted that fixed. I was told by Lithia they would fix it for $495.00. I had the car for less than 2 weeks, but lithia kept insisting "how did they know if I didn't slash it". Fast forward, I went to pick up the car, spoke to service and they were never told about the headrest other than it need to be replaced. NO COMMUNICATION to service from sales . Service said they could find a cheaper one for $59.99 and the would pay half (I was in). I get ready to leave and a light comes on saying audio sound was not engaged. Thank God I didn't leave the lot, took it back to service they ran diagnostics and said the radio was bad it would have to be replaced. REALLY,THIS IS THE NEW NAV/RADIO THEY JUST PUT IN.  All I can say is don't leave the lithia lot until you do a detailed inspection with a magnifying glass and make sure everything is working the way you want . I never intended to get another car, but when I was hit and my car totaled I had no choice. If you go to LITHIA MOTOR IN GREAT FALLS BE CAREFUL!!!!

So not really sure where to begin.. So I had been working with a sales rep named Kathie R. trying…read moreto negotiate a deal. I am not naive and fully understand that sales people are mission oriented and their goal is to sell you a car. And Kathie had been great to work with up until well she wasn't.. We had finally negotiated a deal that I was content with. So,I live up in Cut Bank which is about 2 and half hours from Great Falls. I drove down last week to test drive a 2026 Ram 1500 ,, The truck was beautiful but at that time we could not come to a deal. Well after a few days we negotiated a deal and I drove down from Cut Bank again today. I went through the entire process, went through finance and I paid for the truck. Well this Is where the wheels fell off the cart. While I was in finance, Kathie had gone out to the truck ,they have some sort of ODB application to check for any error codes or faults. Once I was done in finance Kathie and I went out and she was walking me through all of the features and showing me how to use them. Well during the walk through the truck threw an error code that says " service air suspension " well that's not off to a good start. Kathie says she will take it to service to see what the issue is, but it may take a few days to fix. I told her at that point if that's the case I would like to back out of the deal. She said well let's see what service says first. So she takes it to service and after about 30-45 minutes of waiting I finally say that I am tired of waiting. Kathie then goes out to service and comes back and says that its going to take another hour or so because that have to re do a software update or something do to the fact they had recently had to replace the battery in the truck and they think that's what is causing the problem. Which I thought was odd since this is brand new truck. This Is when I made the decision that I wanted cancel the deal. Miraculously at that point the truck was fixed. I still decided to cancel the deal. Well that is where the switch flipped and she lost all interest and became what I think was rude. She went into the sales office and didn't wait for the door to close and I heard her say rudely " he wants to cancel the deal". Jeremy one of the sales manager came out of the sales office and was talking to me and was asking what they could do to save the sale. When I told him what I wanted ( don't get me wrong it was a big ask) Kathie made a real snippy comment along the lines '" that's not gonna happen" or something along those lines and walked away to put my plates back on my truck. Jeremy and another sales manager and I went back and forth and after a few minutes we could not negotiate what I was asking for and I decided to walk away. Again, It was a big ask and I get that, but the truck has been on the lot since March of 2026 has 3 different recalls fixed , a new battery for some reason and now was throwing a code to service the air suspension, I felt I was taking a huge risk at this point with all of issues I mentioned. And all they offered was as a tank of gas. Umm I live 2 1/2 hrs away. So we undid the deal, they refunded my money that was it. I am lucky in the sense that this happened during the walk around I guess rather than when I got home. As I was putting stuff back in my truck Kathie was walking out and I walked up to her to apologize for backing out of the deal, she showed her true colors and very rudely said " it's not my fault".. and just kept walking away. I never said it was her fault I just felt bad for wasting her time. The only highlight in this process was dealing with Austin in finance he was great to work with and did not try and force a bunch of add on's. As I was dealing with him getting my title and refund back he was the only person who was empathetic to the situation after wasting nearly 3 hours at the dealership. While I understand the vehicle having mechanical issues is not the dealerships fault, the way they handle the issue is and left a very bad taste in my mouth and doubt I would ever purchase a vehicle from any Lithia dealership. You only get one chance to make a first impression and they did not do a good job with that ,, Sorry to ramble on :-)
