I've never had a problem with the dry cleaning service. I haven't used their laundry machines or dryers, but many people do and the ambience is calm and purposeful. I don't hear a lot of complaints about machines not working, nor do I see a lot of signs saying that a machine is out of order.

I'd like it much better and not keep looking around for another place if it were cleaner. Wash time is short but people liked that because the prices were cheaper and you get out faster. My clothes were clean, except for heavily soiled items. There is a heavily soiled option on each washer, I didnt use it because I was concerned it might be a more vigorous cycle, which would not have worked for the clothes I had. Nonetheless, for others, that could work well. Washers are around $3.50-$12 (for the huge monster washer)

The next day I took it in to them and they gave me a really hard time. All I wanted was for them to fix the suit to the condition I brought it in. They argued and said they wouldn't re hem the pants. When the auto text came in, they charged me $22 to clean the suit. I also noticed there was a bad iron mark on the sleeve which I didn't even talk about but would never wear the suit in public. The damage was so bad, I can't wear the suit. Just about the worse customer service I've ever had. Really bad dry cleaner.

I should have taken it back to the last tailor I went to instead of trying a new one. But I wanted to give somewhere else a shot. Clearly this was not the place to do it. Although it's listed only as a dry cleaning business on here, they also advertise their seamstress services in the shop. I needed a jacket cleaned anyway and brought in the dress to be taken in. They did a fine job on the jacket and it wasn't terrible expensive. You could probably do worse than the dry cleaning services here. I just wouldn't advise getting anything altered. First off, the woman wasn't very helpful. I told her what I wanted and first she told me it couldn't be done. When I suggested an alternative plan, she was more amenable to it. I'm struggling with whether or not to mention this, but I think part of the issue was the language barrier as her English was not very good. Am I a jerk for that? I hope not. I also had them add on a snap to the top to make it a little less low-cut. Now, I realize that's something I could have easily done myself but I figured that I might as well have them do it since they were already working on it. The taking-in part wasn't terrible. However, it's a dress with a detached lining in the skirt part and the liner now hangs down at least an inch past the rest of the dress. Now I have that permanent "my slip is hanging out" look. Classy. Or not. The other thing I took issue with was the snap. I could have done a much, much better job. It's barely sewn on! It's really loosely sewn and seems like it will fall off at any minute. What's worse is that there's now a small hole in the dress that I'm nearly positive wasn't there before. Really? I know I only paid $20 for alterations, but I at least expect the snap to be sewn on tightly. What a disappointment. Back to Erica's on Albany-Shaker next time. Addendum: The more I look at it, the more appalled I am at the poor tailoring job. The inner liner hangs down about three inches. It looks horrible. The dress is probably unwearable.

I couldn't have been more impressed and happy to have met Paris who helped me right away get my clothing needs sorted and a pickup date to match. Great to make connections and new networking in our new city and def highly recommend Commodore Cleaners. Will be back 12 out of 10 stars. The person I spoke to was very interested in the coat, we chatted a good bit about it, and she assured me it would be well taken care of. A couple hours later, she called and informed me that they'd noticed that an inside panel at the back of the neck was also quite damaged. She wanted to make sure I was aware of this (I was) and assured me that they would do all they could to repair this as well because "I know how much this coat means to you." I didn't think this patch even could be repaired, which I why I hadn't mentioned it--to have it be noticed and addressed with such kindness means a lot to me. Professional, friendly, thorough, and kind. I'm looking forward to working with this business for a long time.
