I read some awful reviews and some good reviews so it was a roll of the dice whether or not it would be a decent place. I thought it was clean, the lady working in the morning was so helpful and kind. I accidently put the dryer coins in the wrong dryer slot which meant I had to use a dryer that was on the bottom. I am unable to reach that far and she completely helped me. Again...it is clean and friendly. The people that gave bad reviews maybe had a bad day starting out!

    DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS My mom used this cleaner to do…read moresome laundry. This laundry mat had several out of order washers with measly signs on them to let you know. Side note she was having a rough day and her mind was not on this little sign. She quickly loaded her laundry and went to run to do a few errands. When she came to unload her laundry by mistake she must have accidentally opened one of the out of order washers. (Again why own a laundry mat with a ton of out of order washers.) To her surprise gallons of water poured on her. My mom runs 5 very well off dry-cleaners around the capital region and is very familiar with washers etc. She only used this one laundry mat as it is way closer to her home. Normally if there is an issue with a machine you would pump out the water. Not leave gallons of water in a machine with one tiny sign that says out of order. She kindly let the attendant know that there was water everywhere and that she was soaked with water. The very rude immature attendant then started saying she was the reason for the mess and it was her fault. My mom did not even realize she had accidentally opened it because she had a horrible day. The attendant then proceeds to call someone to check the cameras, claiming my mom was a liar because she did not remember opening the washer. My mom was more worried about the gallons of water on her and the floor. The person on the phone say they had saw my mom open the washer on the cameras. The attendant then proceeds to talk on the phone about my mom in a room full of people, saying how she was a liar and she opened the washer and that it was her fault. She was saying" yea I knew she opened it and she's sitting here lieing." My mom was embarrassed in a room full of people by this attendant. She was not "lieing" she literally just did not remember opening the washer. The worker should Never ever talk bad about a customer in a room full of people. Nor should she treat anyone like she did. Who cares if the washer was opened by her or not. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE WASHERS FULL OF WATER. After a few minutes of listening to this attendant talk bad about her in a room full of other customers my mom got up and told the employee that it was immature how she was acting and that this was super rude. My mom is not confrontational at all but this is just ridiculous. To this the employee smiled at her and replied "well you shouldn't have lied and this would not have happened." Don't worry it gets better. My mom ended up speaking to the owner later that day who continued to be rude. Saying things like "you have had your time to talk, can I have mine?" And excusing how rude her employee was. She also said how was I supposed to know what my employee was saying. My mom then responded well we're you not the one she was on the phone with? She was. The owner herself sat on the phone with an employee while they embarrassed a customer. My mom repeated multiple times she was sorry and the owner did not apologize once for her broken machines and horrible employee. When my mom told her the broken machines were her responsibility she replied "well it's the customers fault for using them and breaking them." Do yourself a favor and don't spend your money here. Clearly their motto is 0 customers, working equipment. Things get broken, that is the responsibility you take on when you buy a business. As an averill park local I would rather take a little further of a drive then throw my money at a buisness who does not care for their locals. My mom is very familiar with how a customer should be treated as she deals with many everyday. Please do not support this horrid business.
